Enable passenger search while driving in android auto mode
In android auto the search is removed until the car is stopped. My passenger wants to search for a new location destination. Sadly we have to stop the car to do that. A prompt asking if you are the driver would be better, then allow them to search. How can waze assume all interaction must be the driver?? If the driver declares to be a passenger well that's driver negligence but stop All interaction to prevent that, this renders the app useless at times.

Allow entering destinations while driving.
Passengers should be able to use the app while the car is on the road, same for drivers trying to change destinations during a red light.

Improve car parked at location feature.
Improve car parked feature. It frequently says I'm parked when I'm still driving and I have to re program my destination.

Small footprint car icon set on the iPhone
Could you please consider to either bring back or reintroduce small footpeimt car icon set. There was very basic set of a blue, yellow or green car set, that were smaller in size and for the smaller car screens they were very ergonomic. Now with the replacement of a larger versions, map screen becomes more cluttered, larger car icon takes more space on the screen and does not bring any value just distraction. When you try to glance to the screen while driving you see big car icon first and then trying to figure out what is around the icon.…

One-click vehicle type swap
Many people have two vehicles: a car and a motorbike. Specially in cities! Going to settings/vehicle/vehicle type every day every time i use a different vehicle is a pain **********!
Besides that, we have to do the same thing just to verify which type is selected, there is no icon or sign to know that!

maximum one report per X miles
Hi there,
Waze is awesome and everyone is using it. Some like me to navigate from Northern Denmark all the way to Romania on holiday others just to find out about speed traps.
In Romania, Waze caught a lot of media attention so we have a lot of new users, who are obsessed with the points. The new users part is good. We get more reports, more places, we improve on the map problems and we know exactly where the police is :)))
But then due to the point system, the new users instead of thanking for a reported police…

Reports of police presence
I’m a new user and like your app very much. The reports of stalled cars and other hazards is very helpful for everyone’s safety. However, speeding has become a serious problem on the highways, since Covid has resulted in much less police presence. When Waze reports the location of radar traps. It encourages drivers to violate the law and avoid getting tickets; this is not in everyone’s best interest. My recommendation is that you stop reporting radar traps.

Route overview on Android auto
Add the route overview using Android Auto on the car display. This function it's only available using the smartphone app.

Need a widget for android to display map on home screen.
I use a tablet for my car entertainment center, and use waze over google maps. I want a way to add a widget that can display current navigation map on the home screen, so that way I won't need to use split screen all the time. Could have ability to launch full app by hitting the widget if need to interact with waze completely, if too hard to have it interact fully on widget only.

To many reports
Why am I getting an alert that I have reported "to many reports?" I have no reason to lie. It was just after rush hour on a Monday. Lots of cars on the shoulder in my 30 mile drive. I under stand that people abuse this feature for points....but this message..... it kind of hurt my feelings.

Waze would show you places for quick stop near the road.
Basically it would work like this. Imagine a situation that you would need to *** or eat some food. You would open Waze to see when is the closest place to spot. It could even be a little stop by hole in the forest. Also it would be nice to see how many cars could fit there.

Open up Waze to developers so we get third party plugins!
Would be amazing if Waze allowed other developers to integrate their software AND hardware to use with Waze.
Escort radar has their own app where if you hold a button on their radar detector, it'd report it on their cloud to other Escort users that a police is spotted.
However, having to have two apps loaded at a time makes it very difficult to catch alerts from both apps at the same time. Opening up an SDK or API on Waze and allowing other companies and developers to integrate with Waze would allow Waze to dominate the industry.

"Express" Hazard Reporting
Love Waze, but I don't like how many actual touches are required to report a hazard. The more time it takes to report a hazard, the more time your eyes are not watching the road. Also, the most common hazard I see is a car stopped on the shoulder. I'd like a two-touch way of reporting this. If the report menu could be customizable to include a "quick report" option for the most common hazard a driver encounters, this would be a solution.

Bicycle navigation and bike routes for waze!!! Please!!
Can you please add bicycle routes to the app and ways to avoid roads that go over a certain speed limit? The option to set your vehicle as a bicycle and find routes like that avoid high speed roads and roads that dont allow bikes conbined with all of the other great functions of the app will be fantastic...
But since you don't have the feature so many bicyclists won't get to navigate with your app and get the same benefits that car drivers have... I really need a navigator for bikers that shows the speed limits of the roads…

Have users rate the condition of the railway crossing afterwards. Keep data on all crossings to identify
Ever go over one of those railway crossings and think, "What the **** did I just go over?" All over the country, cars have to cross some of the most poorly maintained crossings, putting not only their vehicles at risk but could cause loss of life if one goes over it too quickly without realizing the mess they are in. I dont have an idea – there's a problem
We have been driving from Toronto to Ottawa this morning, and all along HWY 401, every single report of police or cars on the side has been bogus. Not one of them has been right, and there have been a LOT of reports – way too many to be true. I expect a few cops and cars will have moved along before we see them, but not every one of them. Something is wrong with the algorithm, or someone is being a ******* and reporting things that aren't there.

On the paw patrol voice it'll be cool to hear. There's a car stopped on the side of the road, i wonder if Rocky has a part for the car.
Other ideas, Zuma, when you get to your location, can say OK dive it, the beginning when you start, we gotta fly (skye) Green means go (Rocky).
