Need for voice notifications about fixed speed limits while we get warnings about upcoming radars
Hi. It could be very helpful if Waze could notify us by voice about the speed limit fixed for the given situation while it warns us about upcoming radars. This could tremendously help the drivers to control the speed without being distracted or in cases they did not notice the speed signs. In many countries, the drivers suffer the deficit of speed signs which can be very confusing and results in payments of high fines. Thanks

becouse the driver get a speeding fine just after the speed limit i think it will be a good idea if we can get a warning say 5 miles an

Premium user / tipping users for correctly placed speed traps
It would be nice to give some incentive to users to actually use correctly this app.
What do i mean by that?
- The first and most dangerous obviously it is a speed trap. I would give immediately my half of speeding ticket to users that saved me from that.
- More users would be drawn to the Waze and we could have more information, because there is a reward for being useful
- We could have hotspots, that means, zones where is frequently reported some police activity, even if it isn't reported today, beware it might be something.

Feed back Thank you for the speed limit!!
My biggest issue with Waze vs other GPS devices/apps was the lack of speed limit. Thank you for finally adding it!! Way to go Waze. Great app, saved me from tickets and getting stuck in traffic in multiple occasions.

Traffic Jam Standstill Should be much slower
Waze needs to read the speed of Wazers in a Standstill Traffic Jam better. In the last couple of months, I have not been re-routed around terrible standstill traffic jams because Waze thinks the "Standstill" is moving at 15 mph when, in reality, you're literally idling and moving a few feet every couple of minutes. I see where the app tracks Wazers, so why can't it use their average speed, which was closer to 3 mph? In the last few months, I have been caught in very long traffic jams because Waze thinks the route your on is faster…

Speed Limit display and Alert Icon quick Selection
Here is an edited screenshot of my two ideas, on the left you have bigger, more visible speed limit indicator, on the right you get a permanently displayed favorite alert icon.(in my case stopped vehicles which is 90% of my sent alerts)

New circle after doubling the speed limit
Hello there, this is just a suggestion I have about a cool feature that you could add to the app! So, a few days ago I was in a road and noticed on my Waze that if, for example, the road limit is 90 kn/h, the red dots will form a circle and fulfill it at double the speed limit. And to test it I went beyond double, and when I checked I was very disappointed that the red dots just stop and stand at that position. As I told that to a few friends they also got very disappointed…

Trip report
A report after each trip, useful to plan the return or the next travel, or even to control the driver by family or company. Containing max speed, medium speed, total distance, stops, stopped time, graphs with time/speeds, disrespect of speed limits when available... Showed at Waze and by e-mail.

Maximum Permitted Speed or MPS
An important factor during a car trip is the "Maximum Permitted Speed or MPS".
During a car trip, the MPS changes constantly:
1) from 70 to 50, then to 90, suddenly to 30, then again to 70, 30, 70, 100, 90, 120, etc.
2) The MPS aren't always the same type of traffic signs.
I've noticed that I sometimes miss a traffic sign, and WAZE alerts me, for example, with an audible signal (thanks for that!).
My gaze automatically shifts to my smartphone, which actually distracts me from what's happening or could happen on the road!

Speed / red light camera alerts announced too early on local steeets
Speed / red light camera alerts are announced too early on local steeets currently.
Most of the time, the alert is announced over 750m away. And on local streets, it is very likely that there there would be multiple other intersections before reaching it. So by the time the actual camera location is reached, the alert is already forgotten.
Please make it so that the camera alerts are announced closer to the actual camera while on city streets (around 200 - 250m). Or add a second alert when "approaching speed / red light camera", in addition to the current one…1 vote -
When you make a report, you should be able to remove or modify it. I reported a hidden speed trap, and a block later the cop took off.
Hazard reporting should be able to be removed or edited by the person who posted it, especially speed traps when the cop takes off just after you report it.

Louder speed limit exceeded sound for moborbike riders
I can't hear the "speed limit exceeded" sound at all on my motorbike, so it is essentially not something I can use.
It would be nice if that was louder for those who have selected they are on a motorbike, to match the volume of the voice (or else, an option to make it louder).

Adding roadworks and speed camera to the report list
My Waze maps in Melbourne Australia does not have the option to report roadworks or sneaky pop up speed cameras that sit on the side of the road 🫣 as it's not police it feels wrong to report it as police on the map 🤷

Speedometer under speed limit by 5 and 10 for bad weather days
Sometimes we need to travel less than speed limit for safety reasons, there is no option for it
