Add motorcycle icons for sports bike and cruise
There is an icon for motorcycle that looks like a scooter. It would be cool to add different ones for sport bike and cruiser just like there are icons for various car types.

"Standstill" - "Red" ColorThis will indirectly help us to minimize our attention to the Screen without touch the Icon for Status of that Traffic in that location. It is good to Ease of Reference as Currently, I need to Press on that Icon Everything while on the move which is quite dangerous sometimes.30 votes -
Add "No lanes closed" response to "Waze Asks" card for roadworks alerts
A recent unannounced change has added a "What do you see?" card when approaching a roadworks alert. The only response options are to report lane closures or to indicate that the roadworks are no longer there. There is no intuitive option to dismiss the question or respond that construction is still taking place but no lanes are closed.
The majority of roadworks take place without any lane closures, yet the app assumes that closures will occur.
Without an intuitive way to respond differently to a lane closure, many users seem to be selecting one of the closure options to dismiss the question, even when there are no closed lanes. Since this feature was introduced to the production app, most construction alerts have been changed to lane closure pins, resulting in incorrect warnings for all users passing by.Please provide an easy way to respond to the "What did you see?" card with something other than a lane closure, e.g. "Roadworks still there, but no lanes closed".
This would avoid the often confusing question that is not relevant to the situation on the road, as well as incorrect warnings.
This behaviour was confirmed as WAD in a beta bug report: https://www.waze.com/discuss/t/construction-alert-card-has-only-close-followed-by-weird-what-do-you-see-card/386460
A similar suggestion was posted in the beta forum before the feature went to production: https://www.waze.com/discuss/t/solve-the-problem-with-that-the-construction-roadworks-alert-type-always-assume-a-closed-lane/387036

Offer routes that avoid speed bumps
My very low ride height requires me to avoid speed bumps on roads. I need an app that will navigate me in routes that avoid these. Can Waze incorporate such an idea?
29 votesGreat thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

Speed alerts ,audio speed changes, school zones
I use Waze to help give me audio alert when I go over the speed limit. Only thing is that it only alerts you one time and if you go over the speed limit again it will not alert you. I would find it very beneficial but it alerts you every time you go over the speed limit. I would also would like to have school zones added and alerted. And possibly have speed limit decrease to 20 mph when school zones are active with audio alerts. I live in a very small town and is known to have speed traps. We have at least 7 speed cameras and several speed changes. That go from 55 to 35 to 25 in a short amount of distance apart. An audio alert to hear the speed changes change while you are driving, I know for myself Will help tremendously and alerts to known speed traps towns.

Street name covering nav line
When I plug my iPhone 11 into the car play in my car and use the app, it can be frustrating that when I come to a turning, the street name often covers the route (the blue line) so I can't see the turning easily. I suggest fixing it so the street names never sit over the blue navigation line. Thanks.

Change Vehicle profile by connected Bluetooth
I am using my device for navigation by car and motorcycle and I regularly forget to change the vehicle type.
I would love to have a feature that depending on what Bluetooth device is connected to the phone the vehicle type would be automatically set to the appropriate one.29 votes -
WazeCoin, the NFT of Waze
I'd like to share with you an idea I recently had to try to increase Waze user engagement with the app. Launch an NFT that will be linked to the points that are fetched in the app.
First, we have to understand what an NFT (Non fungible Token) is: A non-fungible token is a special type of cryptographic token that represents something unique. Unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and many other utility tokens, NFTs are not mutually interchangeable. A fungible item, such as money, can be exchanged for another.
So it would be to create a currency, which would be linked to the points obtained in the application that could be traded between its holders and between Waze. When interacting with the application with a login created, the user would earn points that would be automatically converted into WazeCoins, for example, 1000 points would be 100 WazeCoins, but this can be defined after a study of ease or difficulty in obtaining the points.
Here are some usage examples:
- In the virtual store you could buy stickers for 100 WazeCoins, shirts for 500 WazeCoins and other items produced by Waze, such as hats, mugs, etc.
- Create different moods that could only be obtained by exchanging for WazeCoins, and in this regard, moods with different degrees of rarity could be launched: very rare (1-100) that would be worth many WazeCoins, rare moods (101-1000), medium mood (1,000) -100,000), common moods (100,000 – 1,000,000).
- WazeCoins could also be used as payment on Waze's marketing platform.
- People who don't have enough points or don't use the app to “mine” points (WazeCoins), could buy from users who have it or even from Waze directly.
Currency value:
The value of WazeCoin would initially be determined by the initial launched quantity and demand of it, and Waze could have control over this value, releasing more coins into the market. It could align the value of the coin to the value of the products in the store.
Thus, Waze could profit a lot from the currency appreciation or not, there goes Waze's interest in how to manage WazeCoins.I'd like to share with you an idea I recently had to try to increase Waze user engagement with the app. Launch an NFT that will be linked to the points that are fetched in the app.

Ad option under navigation for "fastest route".
It seems shortest distance (in miles) is the option Waze gives. In one case, Waze tries to take me over and around the mountain which is actually longer due to very sharp curves.

WaterWaze - River Safety
I am a kayaker and I know I see a LOT of folks on Facebook trying to figure out where items of importance/danger are on their paths - sweepers (trees that have fallen over the water but not gone under), strainers (trees that have fallen into the water, and other debris, as well as places that are good to put-in and take out, or such places that might not be accessible anymore. Water levels/gauges, dams, bridges, shallow spots, dangerous spots... the ability for someone on the water to note any of these things and have it available (especially if there's a way to add a note - "Rocks to left, stay river right") is not only handy, but potentially life-saving. Instead of a vehicle stopped along the road, lost equipment can be noted, such as a kayak that's finally popped loose of a strainer. Basically, it's the same usefulness (if not more, considering how dangerous the water can be), the same premise... just instead of road, you're using waterways and instead of cars and accidents, you're noting conditions and hazards.

CarPlay Alert Buttons
When using CarPlay the alert buttons that pop up are thin and vertically stacked. With the motion of the car these are very hard to hit accurately. I believe about half of my Thanks or Not There button presses are wrong. Switch to Taller side by side buttons. There is generally less horizontal motion of the car, and this should result in fewer errors.

White turning arrows
Hi.Great app but recent change is little bit confusing.I’m talking about white arrows at turns. At distance to the junction it’s not clear and instantly obvious which way you should go.Before your route was continuously of certain colour but now because turns are white specifically,it is less visible. If turns were of different colour then white or perhaps the same colour as the whole route,it would be easier to see it straight away “without looking “ if you know what I mean. One more suggestion-when you get one of the routes taking you across the river Thames using ferry service, route time doesn’t include waiting for the ferry or crossing time itself so is not precise at all.I recently used this option and my route was longer by about 45 min.Is there anything that could be done about it?Best regards.Tomasz

UK Railway Network LOW Bridges Add Visual and Audible Warnings on approach
UK Railway Networks has 100s of LOW Bridges across UK. Please add Visual and Audible Warnings on approach and give drivers an option to AVOID low bridges. i.e. ask height of vehicle and suggest alternative routes avoiding low bridges. I am happy to help to source a list of all Low Bridges on UK Rail Network.
Every year in Britain there are about 2,000 bridge strikes, where road vehicles hit railway bridges and viaducts – that's an average of more than five every day. Each incident can cause hours of delays for tens of thousands of rail passengers – and road users – and costs the taxpayer thousands in repairs and compensation.

Waze based stand alone GPS unit
My cell phone is WAY too distracting to me. I know I should leave it set to waze only, but all the notifications distract me. I really need a stand alone unit that only does Waze so that I can leave my phone in the back and not touch it while I am driving. It looks like Garmin has traffic updates, but I would rather have Waze.

Police camera ≠ police report
In some countries, it is not allowed to drive with an app giving the exact locations of police cameras (automatic speed control), waze intelligently gives the area where the police cameras are (very useful alert and the utilization of waze is allowed).
But to fight the concept of the "area" most of drivers post a police location each time they pass beside a police camera (I have observed it, a police camera in Paris France is reported every 15 min, sometime several times).
Consequence : waze gives the exact location of each police cameras everyday, every time.
The problem is when authorities will discover this detail... They will blacklist waze and alll wazers will be punished (the police fine in France when a driver uses a prohibited GPS/app cost $1600 and at the second police fine the driver looses the right to drive)Because a police report to alert a police control inside a control area is useless. Because, in some countries, the utilization of waze becomes illegal when a police report is posted inside a control area, is it possible to do not give the capability to post a police location inside a control area? (To be honest, it is really not complicated to respect the speed limit during 1 or 2 miles)
A police location could be posted everywhere outside these areas and no police camera would be precisely located
Waze is my favorite app when I drive, I want to keep the right to use it.
Thank you
