U.K. Motorway Variable speed limits
Is there a way that Waze can receive an information feed of the U.K. motorway variable speed limits?
I am sure this must exist and have the ability to be tapped into.
The M25, is a great example, but there are many more motorways across the country, often have variable speed limits posted on signs above the lanes. These can change depending on the operators and in response to incidents or traffic conditions.
It would be incredibly useful to be able to see on the Waze screen what the current limit is, and to know that it is current.7 votes -
Risk Area Idenfication By Zip Code
The waze could consider in their paths neighborhoods considered several risk based on ZIP code. Currently, many transportation companies use such resources to make deliveries and considered at risk neighborhoods, deliveries are made with escort.
The neighborhoods considered at risk or streets could be highlighted with different colors so drivers have to avoid these paths.

Good day, I am a user based in Malaysia. I have been using Waze as my primary navigation tool for many years and truly appreciate the innovation and convenience it provides. However, after years of usage, I have noticed a main feature where improvements could be made.

Bus lane - options to enable them and present them on the map
I have EV and I have enabled EV mode. In my country, EV can drive on bus lane.
I was expecting that Waze would take that into consideration and it is : yesterday, when I set up the destination, Waze told/asked me that "The route might contains directions on bus lane". I had the checkbox to hide the prompt in the future (which I marked) and button like ok/dismiss (I don't remember). Select safer way by following someone if alternative route is similar time
Safely travel means to follow others. Like on festivals inside crowds ==> people tend to walk together = crowd pulls you. Basically we should drive in circles. While road has dashed line, we better don't want to meet many cars in opposite direction. This can avoid mamy accidents by front crash. Similar road arrangement can be seen ie. also on some festivals so it is not just a dream!! I prefer to come 10min late than never [+]. Waze should offer this always (on dashed line roads).

Improvement to avoiding difficult intersections
I use the "Avoid Difficult Intersections" in the app but am still often taken to very busy main roads to turn right without traffic lights. I drive every day doing rideshare work & this is a constant issue for me.

Float the speedometer and report button above the next-turn instructions
If the next turn instructions are sufficiently long (e.g. "Exit 116B: US-165 BUS / LA-15 / to Civic Center / Jackson St"), the speedometer and report button will overlap the instructions, making it impossible to see the most important text, "Exit 116B". These elements should float up to avoid covering turn instructions.

Combination Red Light & Speed Camera
In my area there are now red light cameras that are also speed cameras. Why is this relevant? Because if the light is STALE (green for a long period and may be turning yellow/red soon at some point) I and other drivers who are aware that the light may be turning red may speed up to avoid the possibility of a receiving a red light ticket. Route Alerts
The shortened route alert should have user specified times. I do not care about saving 3 minutes on a 6 hour drive. There should also be a limited number of times Waze asks for this route. My last trip I ended up just letting Waze reroute me onto a toll road costing money because it wouldn't shut up about the 10 minutes I would save on my 3 hour trip.

lane change
In the map display, there are no lane change indicators like those white bold arrows when turning left, right or U-turn. Those are important to have an early indicator that you are about to lane change on a certain location in the map. This will also help in the use of the lane guidance to know which part of the map should we use the guidance.

Bring back Deer sightings on or near road. Simply , road hazard is insufficient to warn drivers.
Being back deer on side of road or in road is much better than just saying road hazard . A simply road hazard does NOT give drivers proper heads up to avoid killing the animals and possibly themselves

Moto mode

In Taiwan, we mostly using motocycle, maybe 60~70% I guess.
If it can have Moto mode I'll be very grateful.
But if it have difficult in technology, Hope it can have blacklist in rode name, That we can To avoid high way and some rode or street that no motorcycle allowed in road zone or something like that

Option to Disable Auto-Rerouting After Route Is Set

I’d like to suggest a feature that allows users to disable automatic rerouting after setting a route.
As a driver, it’s not always possible (or safe) to constantly check the device to notice when Waze changes the route and tap “No thanks” in time to stay on the original path.There are countries where you must follow a specific route due to legal or financial reasons — for example, vignette zones, road restrictions, or toll obligations. Switzerland
Hi, it would be helpul to implement a Switzerland specific option, because, there, motorways are paid by a yearly "vignette". And people driving only a few km per year on these motorways, for instance to go to Geneva airport from France, may be interested by an option "Avoid Switzerland motorways (vignette)". Indeed the already existing options "avoid motorways" and "avoid paying roads" are too drastic for a journey in other countries, too. Report Blocked Lane by Voice
It would be an amazing addition to be able to say "Hey Google, Report Left/Center/Right Lane Blocked" rather than needing to use the on-screen controls as it poses a safety hazard.
I feel as if that would entice users to use the feature more; it's a very beneficial tool to have, allowing you to prepare for the lane chance before it's too late.
That may also help with traffic congestion when everyone is trying to merge into a single lane on interstates.3 votes
