1. Implement a next/previous button in the notifications

   When I stop a traffic light I read some notifications, but sometimes I haven't finished to read an important one and it changes to the next. So it will be usefull if I can navigate through this messages.

3. Limiting typing while "driving" does more harm

   Voice only while driving limitation is only making the driving much more distracting and dangerous in certain non-english areas such as Bulgaria for example. Where the voice commands are not working properly. I want for my passenger to be able to type in an address while I am driving, so I won't be distracted by battling with the voice commands and constantly checking what was actually found by them and if it's the correct place. Also why is that even when I pull over and completely stopped I still can't type in. My car is not moving... It's really a struggle to use Waze that way.

4. game mode

   Nothing to do with your friends friday night?
   Game mode on wazer will change video games in real life.
   Ideas are there, the base of the game is there, we just need to create it.

   Game #1 Cat and mouse
   4 players, 2 wazers, 2 cars
   (2 drivers, 2 co-drivers)
   Intro:
   The goal of the cat's team is to find the other team (mouse) in the city. Each teams can find power in the streets (change candies in power). The mouse try to escape the cat in the city (folowing speeds limits) but don't know where it is. Mouse team only know that cat team are at (example: 3 streets left). But cat team know exactly where the other team is. To win at this game, the co-driver of the cat's team only have to press buton: I see you or take a photo.
   More:
   Now, the fun of the game begin and the co-drivers plays.
   The cat team can find power on streets (like candy for now) to slow the opposite team:
   When the cat find this power in the city, the other team have 60 seconds to find a spot to stop the car completly while 30 seconds. If they can't, they loose.
   The mouse's team can find power like this too:
   -1) The other team can't see them in the map while 60 seconds.
   -2) The other team only know your distance while 60 seconds.
   -3) The other team can only see you without the map.
   -4) Hologram mode. The other team see three mouse in the map. The real and two false who take differents way. (while 2-3 min.)
   Finaly:
   Before playing, the players delimit a space to play. If somone leave the territory, they loose.
   While playing, the other wazers can help to find the mouse when they enter in the game space and want to find the car. They have a picture and descrtiption of the car.
   To press button: I see you, you need to be at less than 100m of the mouse.

5. Show and announce destination upon auto-suggestion navigation start.

   When starting navigation via auto-suggestion the driver in fact does not know where to until arrival :) which is sometimes fun, sometimes not. This is not related only to home/work , but also to calendar entries, when skipping one event for the next one calendar based destination takes me to the first place. I would rather be offered a bunch of 3 most probably destinations to choose from rather than stopping the naviagation just to know where to. The destination address shoud be clearly stated on the routes and routes detal views.

6. More route options than 3

   The user gets to choose from as many routes as possible, ordered by time, trip range and optional personal preference (let's say a stop they plan on making or a specific route they prefer to take).

7. council fines

   Have an alert for Council Officers handing out fines (in addition to the current Police ones).
   In Brisbane, Australia, Council Officers stand out on the road corners handing out tickets for people stopping (picking people up / dropping people off). It would be AMAZING to have an alert for this!

8. I have a suggestion: it would be great to show stop signs and traffic lights on the route.

   If we could go to Map Issue and note when there is a 2-way stop sign; a 4 - way stop sign; or a traffic light, it would improve Waze and help the driver when on a route to know what's coming up.

9. Stay on Major Road Option, Longer Distance, Faster Time

   Give a route option to stay on MAJOR roads, state roads and highways, and choice of a slightly longer distance, but shorter time driving. Waze always takes me off the interstate or major state road to save a few miles off of my route, but in doing so I go through every stop sign, speed table, neighborhood and school zone possible. Sure it saved me a couple of miles, but added loads of frustrating time to my drive, increased gas usage and increased wear and tear on my car.

   Not only that, the start and stopping of these shorter routes, destroys our planet with carbon emissions. I'd much rather go a longer distance and arrive faster.

    allow Wazers to indicate nice picnic places
    Who never experienced looking hours to find a nice place , finally stop in à not ideal place, and then after eating, drive 500 m and find the perfect stop 😉 ?

11. List of potential improvements in order to make Waze the best GSP app

    List of possible improvement in order to make Waze the best gps app
    1) Please find a way to show on the map the name of the city/locality we are driving in. When using the Waze inside a city is redundant, but if you are travelling through the/a country, we need to know where we are, not only the street name (!!!);
    2) Again, when traveling through the country I find important to see on the map which is the next city to reach and the distance to it (even though it is not the final destination !). I want to explain this - lets say you are about to make a 200 miles trip, where you will pass through 3 cities until you reach your destination. For the driver, for the way he plans the trip and his stops, it is important to see on the map that there are 57 miles (for ex) before reaching the next important city;
    3) I think it is very important to have a small set of reports after each trip. I am grateful for you app and for the time estimation before starting a trip, but I need to know in the end the length of that trip and especially the real time spent in traffic. That will help me to better understand the different trails I use;
    4) Learn preferred routes. If a driver uses your directions for 80% (example) of his route, but every day he uses the same streets for a portion of his road, that means that he needs/wants to use especially that path, so you'd better include it from the original estimated route.

12. Live Distance to next toll barrier

    Like on the BMW GPS system, where you have an indication of the distance of the next toll barrier.
    As the controls are mainly in the 10km before the toll barrier so it is easy to get stopped, this indication would bring much more safety.

13. Turn off close to home

    Much the same way the “still there” interface pops up when you are close to a reported cop or car on the side of the road, have a pop off for “continue/stop” when you are close to home. I suggest 1mile radius from your Home location.

    Lieber Waze, ich möchte mit dir den Link einer Website teilen, auf der du die in Deutschland befindlichen Verkehrsstationen und die genaue Beschreibung der Verkehrsstationen findest, über die ich wertvolle Informationen erhalten kann. Meine Beobachtung war in der Dresdner Innenstadt, dass die App zwar auf die Verkehrsleitlinie hinweist, aber das falsche Tempolimit anzeigt, denn in unserer Gegend gibt es ziemlich viele Orte, an denen abends von 22:00 bis 06:00 Uhr ein Tempolimit von 30 km/h gilt: 00, dies sollte in der App verbessert werden. Als nächstes sollte entwickelt werden, dass ein Rotlichtmotiv hinzugefügt werden soll, um die Ampeln zu warnen, bei denen der Verkehr nicht nur die Geschwindigkeit misst, sondern auch die Stopps an roten Ampeln überwacht, was Sie natürlich in der Beschreibung unter demselben Link finden können. 15. Adding parking bays/ lay-bys onto the map

    It would be really helpful to be able to see parking bays / lay-bys on the maps. We have a young baby and often have to find somewhere for a quick pit stop and sometimes miss parking areas as they aren’t on maps or well signposted - this can make the situation even more stressful

16. Searching during navigating with carplay

    I think the worst thing about Waze is searching for a stop on your existing route.

    You click on gas stations and it comes up with a list. Not helpful while driving. Especially when those are not directly on the route. They could be behind you or far off the actual route.

    I use Google maps a lot more for local trips because of this feature. You need to add a stop on the route…whether it’s gas or an address and when you put that in. It shows 5 locations on the actual map so you can physically how far they are on or off the route.

    The list isn’t helpful. Please fix!!

17. Soon turn notifications

    I need sooner notice of a turn. With a 14’ trailer full of equipment I need sooner notifications of a turn. At 50 mph there is no way to stop or slow down when I have very little notice of a turn.

    I need several notifications: 1/4 mile, 1500 feet, 1000 feet, 500 feet, 100 feet.

    If there was a setting to set this it would help.

    My sound automatically connects to my truck but will not play sound while I’m on Satellite Radio. The setting keeps changing. I set in setting to play through phone speaker. However it is changing itself.

18. I would like to see a pickup staging option for ride share and taxi drivers.

    As a recent UBER driver, I find WAZE an invaluable tool, as it integrates as a navigator right into their system so I do not have to enter the address manually. I have been using waze since it has been introduced here in Minneapolis, and threw away my old nav systems... Here is an improvement I'd like to see. I would like the option to add a stop to the current address(without having to do it manually), 2 addresses back from the stop, on the same side of the street. Call it a staging stop. That way I am on the same side as my pickup, where I can view the door and watch for them, while not blocking the business or residence entrance for other people that have called cars. When they step out, I can swoop in and pick them up instantly, and since I see them as I am coming in, I can even stop, get out and open the door for them. This would be really handy in inclement weather when there are many people waiting for pickups. Cars waiting back from the door until they see there riders. Often times with uber, they are notified as I am pulling up, then I wait there blocking, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 30 seconds... I don't want to pull away and back around the block, for fear of missing them, and therefore upsetting them.

19. Disable Carplay notifications

    I want an option to turn off Waze carplay notifications for next turn because they block UI of other apps like Spotify controls.

    Also when you are stopped just before the turn the same turn notification pops continuously and this needs to be fixed as it blocks interfaces.
