2. wrong locations during navigation

   Waze navigated to wrong location despite providing correct address. Had to use Google Maps to go to correct location! address was 4545 Quail Lakes Dr, Stockton, ca. Waze navigate to a parking lot 1 mile away.

3. Problem with new version. Please, please, please...

   I own an AppRadio car stereo, which worked perfectly with Waze on my iPhone until last week when I updated Waze (now, two versions ago). Now, some Navigation lists won't not scroll on my AppRadio touchscreen (ie. I can no longer touch-&-drag 1) my Recents list on the main "Navigate" screen, 2) my "Favorites" list, and 3) any "Search results" list after I pick a Category. All other touch functions work (as far as I know), and I am still able to touch-&-drag through the "Categories" list itself (for some reason).

   Please, please, please revert to the old scrolling code in the next version/update! If you cannot, please provide an app option where I can downgrade to that older version of Waze for the iPhone, if possible.

   PS - I joined 1 mo ago, am a big fan, have been spreading the word, and am already a Wazer Knight bc of all the holiday and work driving, as well as reporting, I have been doing from my AppRadio (its so easy and fun!). Thanks so much.

   As of version 4.51, Waze no longer supports WebLink and AppRadio.

4. Leave the overview map on the screen until I change it.

   In Google Maps, when I get to the Overview Screen, it stays on the screen and slowly zooms in until I get to my destination. In Waze, the Overview Screen only stays for a few seconds, then reverts to the basic navigation screen. Please make Waze more like Maps and let me keep the Overview Screen on the display until I change it!

6. Plate Number also be encoded on Waze

   CAR plate number should be encoded in waze, then waze will tell you which roads to avoid. Given the no coding scheme and the odd even scheme

7. More accurate gps

   The only reason I do not use waze more often is that the nevigation is delayed. Unlike google maps I cannot see exactly where I am on waze there is a 15sec delay. This confuses me and makes it harder to navigate and drive at the same time. By the time I pass the turn the gps shows me at the turn.

8. Night mode issue

   Previously with CarPlay set to Dark mode (which I think makes it easier to see CarPlay functions), Waze when set to “Auto” showed daytime maps when light outside and night versions of maps when dark out (at night or in a garage). Lately, Waze only shows night versions of maps unless CarPlay is set to light mode. I have always had CarPlay on dark mode and this was not an issue. Also note that both Apple Maps and Google Maps show daytime versions of their maps when it is daylight outside even with CarPlay on dark mode, just as Waze used to.
   Waze is a very useful app, but not as ideal when stuck using night maps during daytime driving. Hopefully this issue can be addressed to return it to its prior behavior of appropriate day/night map appearance even with CarPlay set to dark mode.

9. the "share ride" url is not properly URL encoded in text messages

   waze.com/ul=q=share drive ... there should be an underscore in "share_drive" or the asci code for space "share%20drive" to keep the url from breaking when shared in text messaging (observed in Google's Voice APP)

10. Share trips from phone to car running aaos

    Hello everyone, I do uber full time and recently switched to waze. I was very happy to see that waze is available on my polestar 2's aaos but as an uber driver there's 1 option that would be a killer feature for us.

    When I accept a trip on uber it automatically opens the waze app on my phone, but I am greeted with a message saying "waze is open on your car, user here or exit". Even when I choose use here and then switch back to my car, it doesn't pick up where I left off. Hence why I would like to make a suggestion, add a 3rd option to that screen I mentioned earlier that says "send to car".

    Something that would be even better is to have a "car mode" option on the main waze app which automatically shares trips that comes from uber to the car (similar to Google maps on Android auto, since maps is disabled on your phone when using android auto it automatically shares the trip to maps on Android auto). So the "car mode" option would be like "uber sends trip to waze on main phone -> waze automatically shares trip to waze on car (aaos)".

11. Suggestion : Ajouter un bouton “Mettre à jour les prix carburant” visible pour tous les utilisateurs

    Je souhaite proposer une amélioration simple mais très utile concernant la mise à jour des prix carburant dans Waze.

    Problème constaté

    Actuellement, la mise à jour des prix carburant dépend uniquement des wazers qui connaissent l’existence de la fonction ou qui tombent sur l’écran de modification en naviguant dans les menus.
    Résultat :

    Beaucoup d’utilisateurs ignorent qu’ils peuvent mettre à jour les prix
    
    les prix restent parfois obsolètes plusieurs jours
    
    la fiabilité globale des stations s’en ressent
    
    les contributeurs réguliers doivent compenser en mettant à jour manuellement de nombreuses stations
    

    Proposition d’amélioration :

    Ajouter un bouton clairement visible sur la fiche de chaque station-service :

    “Mettre à jour les prix carburant”

    Ce bouton serait accessible et surtout visible en permanence pour tous les utilisateurs, même ceux qui ne connaissent pas les menus avancés.

    Fonctionnement souhaité

    Le bouton apparaît directement sur la fiche de la station
    
    Un simple appui ouvre l’écran de mise à jour des prix
    
    L’utilisateur peut modifier un ou plusieurs carburants
    
    Validation en un clic
    
    Pas de changement dans le système de vérification existant
    

    Avantages

    Mise à jour des prix plus fréquente
    

    Affichage visuel direct dans l'application pour tous les utilisateurs de la possibilité de mettre à jour eux même le prix ce qui donnerait des prix reflétant la réalité et pas les prix repris de gouv.fr qui ne seront jamais juste car trop changeant et jamais à jour à l'instant "T"

    Données carburant plus fiables pour tous
    
    Contribution facilitée pour les utilisateurs occasionnels
    
    Réduction de la charge pour les contributeurs réguliers
    
    Amélioration de l’expérience globale des conducteurs
    

    Impact positif

    Cette amélioration rendrait Waze plus collaboratif, plus précis et plus utile au quotidien, surtout dans un contexte où les prix carburant évoluent rapidement.

12. affichage "encore là"

    Bonjour,
    Lorsqu'il y a danger, il est noté
    sur 2 sones à cliquer sur l'affichage en car play
    "Toujour présent"
    "n'est Plus là"
    Il est pas pratique d'appuyer sur la zone réactive car les deux zones sont à la verticale
    Perso, en voulant confirmer, j'ai appuyé sur "plus là"

    L'idée simple serait de las positionner en bas
    une zone réactive à droite et une autre à gauche
    Dans ce cas en conduisant, on ne peut plus commettre d'erreur

14. Integrate behind steering wheel Polestar 2

    PLEASE WAZE, There are currently like over 60 000 Polestar 2 cars on the road. Polestar has made it possible to have waze application on the cars center display but when using Waze, the screen behind the steering wheel becomes dark. When using google maps on Polestar 2, we get both maps on center screen and the screen behind the steering wheel.

    Polestar Support has reached out and said that Waze needs to integrate this. Please do , we have been waiting for more than e year for this.

    Apitar e falar quando tiver perto de um alerta Tipo policia, carro quebrado, buraco...
    E comando de voz Tipo o "ok google" para avisar um alerta sem tirar as mãos do volante

17. Add Road Surface Quality Layer (like OsmAnd) to Avoid Poor Roads

    Currently Waze shows real-time hazards like potholes, but there's no permanent layer showing overall road surface quality (asphalt condition, gravel, smoothness).

    Many apps like OsmAnd use OpenStreetMap 'surface' and 'smoothness' tags to color-code roads: green=smooth asphalt, yellow=rough, red=gravel/dirt. This helps plan routes avoiding bumpy secondary roads, especially in Hungary/Europe where road quality varies wildly.

    Feature request:

    Add toggleable 'Road Quality' layer in map settings.

    Show road types: paved/smooth, paved/rough, unpaved, etc.

    Route planner option: 'Avoid poor surface roads'.

    Use community-edited data (OSM + Waze reports).

    This would make Waze perfect for long trips with low-clearance cars (like hybrids) or motorcycles. Similar to biking/terrain layers in Google Maps

18. Create additional lists

    I would like to create additional lists of saved locations. Google has the "want to go" list, for example.Waze just has 1 big blob list. I don't think that would take anything away from Waze's simplistic design.

19. share with waze app

    It should definitely be possible to send places in Google Maps, for example, to Waze using the SHARE function. Because many apps open Google Maps by default and start navigation there. But if you could share the location with Waze, you could still start navigation in Waze

20. I CANNOT RECOVERY MY ACCOUNT

    I try to open my account in other device. Somehow, the device get stuck… when I went back to my original device, my account was locked. I try to get a code to unblock it, but no email get to my inbox… I tried several times with no success. Therefore, I try to open a new account with my previous email (gmail), the waze system did not allow me saying that the email is already used by another user….. what a loop..!!! I have seen several users with the issue…
