Make list of "suggested eta recipients" editable
Every time I go anywhere using Waze it "helpfully" pops up a picture of ONE person: my ex (and the option to add others). The only person I've ever sent an eta to is my ex, so I guess I'm just doomed to see their contact pic every time I drive?

Activate voice input when report button is pushed in Android Auto/Carplay or phone app
I would like the report button to start listening for voice prompts when pushed on the phone or android auto/carplay. I use Google Assistant for most reports and by the time I say “Ok Google” then wait for the prompt, then use voice reporting the pin is dropped significantly beyond what I was trying to report. Fumbling around with android auto to find the correct category is less safe and less direct than voice reporting and I usually end up hitting the wrong category.

Option to Remove Speed Cameras on the Other Side of the Road
I would like the option to Remove Speed Cameras on the Other Side of the Road. This should be a simple fix within the settings and would allow for less confusion when driving on a motorway. I’m often caught out by speed cameras and slowing right down from the speed limit to well below it so there’s not chance of me being fined. However, I do this for all speed camera alerts even when they are on the other side of the road just to be safe. It would be so much more pleasant to disable other side…

Fade music on alerts/notifications/Turn-by-Turn
It would be really nice if Waze faded music during audio events (not pause.. pause is a little bit jerky and makes you lose the music beat)
I use my phone (Android) as a Media Center on my car, it controls the audio and video on it. I play music using it (outstanding equalizer settings and audio effects), and the fade function is really necessary so I don't keep distracting looking for corners on GPS.
Also, on my own opinion, fading looks real classy and professional.Original Google Maps' software does that fading, but I don't want to go back…

Support for iOS 11 DND while driving feature
iOS 11 which is being released tonight, supports do not disturb while driving. This means that if you text me whilst driving, rather than being distracted with a text message, my phone will text the person back informing them that I will see the message once I have reached my destination. The person can still call me of course.
This feature works with Apple Maps, but doesn’t work with Waze. Not sure why. Can you make Waze work with it?

Change from Popups to small notification Banners
Popups are quite intrusive. For instance, while Waze is recalculating, which can take a while sometimes, I need to see the map to figure out the next turn quickly. There are many other examples of intrusive popups, i.e. Danger ahead, Speed camera ahead, etc.
Popups should be shown as banners. A banner should be a rectangle less than an inch tall and as wide as the screen, aligned to the top or bottom of the screen. So, the rest of the screen would not be hidden at all, but would be instead completely available and usable as always.

I could not add a speed camera to the map it says I do not have permission to do it.

Bottom Bar.
The bar at the bottom that has search and carpool need to have a button to turn it off. It is not needed while driving and when on my motorcycle and my phone is turned on its side the bar takes up over half my screen making it impossible to see the map.

Play voice on device when bluetooth conected
A good think to do on this app it's to have the choice of not playing audio on Bluetooth only because if the phone is connected to Bluetooth on the car and you listening radio that become a problem hearing waze voice .

Pindrop for Hazard Report
Pindrop sighting report. Everytime i sighted a hazard such as broke down vehicles, police, construction or etc on the road, as a rider, i needed to safely navigate myself through the situation before I can pull out my phone and report it, by then, I will be a distance away and the report will be inaccurate.
If I could pin drop the location of the incident/hazard, it will be a lot more useful for road user.

Allow reporting of issues from a PC
I don't use my phone when I'm on my motorcycle but would like to be able to report things I see once I reach my destination. I should be able to, from my PC or my phone, report issues which are not at my current location.

Auto Detect Speed in Traffic
Instead of the user selecting the "level" of traffic, Waze should automatically detect the user's speed for a specified time and/or distance to calculate an accurate delay due to the traffic. Then Waze should continue to monitor new users as they pass through the traffic zone to determine if the event is still occurring or if it needs to be removed and transit times recalculated.

Apple CarPlay Update needed
I love that we finally have Apply CarPlay integration! The update does need some additional work in my opinion. The roads/street names/ icons all appear blurry on the CarPlay display. All of the notifications that pop up are clear/crisp. It just looks like the map isn't fully loaded and isnt giving a clear picture like the map on the phone does. Also - the icon (arrow or car) is massive compared to the rest of the map. It doesnt get smaller/bigger when zooming in or out. I think the icon should change size based on the size of the map…

Don't release versions that are buggier than previous ones!
Noam Bardin, you should be ashamed of yourself. Since I updated 2 days ago this App has crashed more times since then than it has in the whole 2 years I have used it!
It is especially bad when using the camera feature, never mind the constant (chopped off screen) display issues as well.
I implore you to please do us all a favour Noam & sort this debacle out post haste. Start by showing the person responsible for green lighting this latest release the door & then ensure that you replace them with someone competent, thank you.

Waze microphone usage instead of Google Assistant (Local language issue)
The waze app is working well on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10e).
My problem is starting when I connect to Auto Android in my car (BMW 5 year: 2023)
All of my devices are set to Hungarian language (car + phone + waze)
I could add any address by voice in Hungarian languge before the newest version of Auto Android.
