improve Speeding Alerts
Could the speed indicator be improved in this way: Right now, the speeding icon stays white up to the speed limit, then as soon as 1 mph over, it goes red. I have my alert threshold set to 10% over the speed limit. I would prefer if the speeding icon does not go red until that 10% overage is exceeded. Otherwise the icon would be red most of the time, as most people drive a few mph over the speed limit. And having it red most of the time defeats the warning. It only needs to go red…

Please consider updating the Waze app so that speed cameras remain visible on the map at all times, even when the driver exceeds the +20 km/h grace limit in Dubai.
Recently, the cameras disappear above the limit and only reappear about 500 meters before, which wasn’t the case earlier and can be stressful for drivers.

Trip price calculation
The viamichelin.com route calculator gives you quite an accurate prediction of the trip price based on a few factors.
- Vehicle average consumption data (by vehicle type, mpg or l/100km).
- Distance.
- Average fuel price.
- Tolls (data publicly available, should be added to Waze).
I believe it would be very useful.

Control audio warnings as a user option
In the audio, there are only 3 options. Please add a 4th option as a " user option" There you can not only set the type of warning, but also control the amount of " before exit/turn " warnings. Today, you either have all of them ( 3 ) or nothing. I would like to have for example only 1 waning for exit + Police + speed camera and nothing else. Anyone can chose and set his own preferences on the audio notification.

When you make a report, you should be able to remove or modify it. I reported a hidden speed trap, and a block later the cop took off.
Hazard reporting should be able to be removed or edited by the person who posted it, especially speed traps when the cop takes off just after you report it.

UI Idea
I suggest a controller layout.
Where when you are in drive mode you can swipe to the right and have massive buttons.
Customisable buttons with customisable actions.
Most importantly a report speed camera button or police or construction.You swipe right and you can have a robot layout
3 buttons.
Or a controller top right bottom left layout.
And customisable and different actions to it.
1. Speed camera.
2. Record audio for later.

Please make the speed limit signs in the Waze app larger. It is dangerous when trying to read the small signs in the app

In-app option to turn off familiarity capping
Give the users the option to always display Speed Cameras and Hazards that familiarity capping would otherwise remove from the display.

Can you set the speed "over limit warning" in the speedometer so that it plays the audible warning every time I exceed the speed limit ?

I'm asking because I've been using Waze to get around Bologna since they added the 30km zone and it's very useful to me. I'm asking you because it only plays the warning the first time and then for a stretch of the road it doesn't play it again, maybe it's set like this so as not to be annoying but I really need it to ring every time. Thank you.

My idea to make wase better is, set in road toll on the map and drive, and speed limit buzzle sound, prevent overspeed on road and face summon by traffic officer. and a lot of speedtrap camera on high-speed expressway,

Radar audio warning trigger model
I don't know if this is a new topic or not, but this is a problem that I've encountered wherein the normal Waze behavior is almost like a bug.
How it works today
The visual on screen warning for a Speed camera is based on distance only. I.e it will always show on-screen when the driver is X meters from the camera.
However, the audio warning for a speed camera only activates if you pass the "detection distance" and are "over speed"Problem

Unable to Submit Reports When Toast Messages (e.g. Tollbooth, Speed Bump) Appear
I’ve noticed an issue when trying to submit a report while driving near certain map elements such as tollbooths or speed bumps. When the short “toast” messages like “Tollbooth ahead” or “Speed bump” appear, they overlap the Submit button on the report screen. This makes the button temporarily inaccessible, preventing me from submitting the report until the toast message disappears.
It would be great if the UI could adjust to prevent this overlap — for example, by repositioning the toast message or allowing the report submission button to remain accessible at all times.

Semaphore optimization of speed, driving time and fuel economy.
To drive faster and keep fuel try to know the semaphore timing.
In this case can advise drive slower or faster (if possible) to drive non-stop in the semaphore green corridor, when possible.8 votes -

Add tollbooth to settings under alerts and report to be able to toggle on/off.
Option to use speed limit feature without speedometer.
Location is not precise. When making a turn the location updates after making the whole turn instead of following precise location while turning like other apps. Also, many times the map will show you at another location and it would start jumping locations like crazy.
Please take this suggestions under consideration. Waze is already the drivers' preferred app, don't let us have to deal with things like this that just make our experience uncomfortable and many times…

I live in FL. Electricity goes out at least 3 times every week. Each time electric comes back on Waze camera starts recording.
Find a way to stop Waze from turning on when electric goes out and then comes back on. It happens frequently in Florida. Recording is off then when electricity comes back on it automatically turns recording on. I saw one lady say on Wyze blog camera coming on by itself and invades her privacy. Perhaps power outages are causing her problem. I keep getting alerts after a minuscule even 2 second blip in electricity since camera turns on.

Traking travel
When phone connect to car , autostart Waze, saving address During travel record position on map, with speed. When stop car shut down save position and stop waze. Result : map of trip can be available, including road used and speed top and average. Trafic condition can be automatic for or wazers because all cars speed are record and compared with speed limit of roads (if under limit mean trafic, difference in percentage show the trafic density). Look to have one idea Vezma App. Make what I suggest but don't do all that Vaze offer.
