Adding parking bays/ lay-bys onto the map
It would be really helpful to be able to see parking bays / lay-bys on the maps. We have a young baby and often have to find somewhere for a quick pit stop and sometimes miss parking areas as they aren’t on maps or well signposted - this can make the situation even more stressful

An enhancement to weather alerts.
Last week an extreme weather event was encountered and the vehicle was hydro planning due to torrential rainfall and right there and then Waze navigation alerted to "heavy rainfall"
This capability for driver alerts in real time is the real genius of Waze. I love it. Can I suggest a simple enhancement - when extreme rainfall alerts are posted for a particular location by other Waze users these alerts are given to traffic that is at least 50km away from reaching this area. on my iphone I can see the option to add 'closure' however on my car screen, this option is not available
Why does the screen not copy to my car screen? 2 x recently I have encountered this issue, one was when a road was completely closed for 24 hours due to a thatched cottage being on fire and 80 firefighters across the road - the app only showed 1 lane closed so clearly other drivers encounter this issue, and yesterday in central Milton Keynes a road was closed but the app screen on my car only showed 1 lane closed. Calculate speed of travel adjusted for vehicles turning around
This morning I was caught in a traffic jam in which we traveled 1 mile in 24 minutes. The app was showing travel speed for the area of 8-12 mph at the time because of the number of vehicles exiting the traffic jam to turn around or cutting out of the traffic through side streets. This causes inaccuracy in the eta and may have resulted in routes 'b' or 'c' being faster. WiFi for CarPlay/AndroidAuto and Phone for Data
The key point here is that
I HAVE NOT SUBSCRIBED TO MY CAR's ONSTAR DATA PLAN- my iPhone is able to connect to the car over WiFi for Apple Car Play
- Waze is able to operate through "WiFi Car Play" on my car's infotainment system
- This is key: THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE A DATA PLAN. So while I'm connected to the car's local area network (LAN) my phone does not have wide area network (WAN) data through the car's WiFi.

Android Auto lower render distance option
My Android Auto headunit is old and has low USB bandwidth, so when I'm out driving and I'm both using Waze on Android Auto and playing audio off my phone, when it has to render a large area my music will lag. Zooming in to freeze the map movement makes my music play again. This could be fixed by allowing us to either choose a "low performance" mode on android auto or letting us choose how far Waze renders non-map data on the map.

Better CarPlay display
Dear Waze Team,
I’d like to suggest a small but meaningful UI improvement to enhance user experience.
Currently, the box displaying the estimated arrival time, remaining minutes, and distance is located in the bottom left corner of the screen. Unfortunately, this area often overlaps with alerts and notifications, especially when there are multiple incidents or warnings, making it difficult to quickly view key travel information.
Would it be possible to relocate this box to the top right corner of the screen or offer customizable placement in the settings? This change would greatly improve visibility and reduce distraction while driving.

Need A View Shared Drive Option While Using CarPlay
The green-ish “View Shared Drive” button that normally appears on the right side of the screen does not appear while connected to Apple CarPlay. Currently, the only way to view a drive that has been shared with you is to disconnect from CarPlay, which is very frustrating. I am on a road trip with family in which we are driving two separate vehicles, and it would be very useful to be able to view a shared drive on my CarPlay screen to see where the rest of the family is and what their ETA is.

Oxygen Restricted Roads
A lot of drivers are now helping seniors and those with respiratory problems/disabilities that have oxygen tanks which are prohibited in tunnels that run from NJ/NY and possibly in other areas. There’s also some restrictions on bridges. Can you please come up with a Navigation button to “Avoid Oxygen Tank Restricted Roads”?

Alert for fixed parking enforcement cameras when stopping
Please add an alert when a vehicle slows down and stops within a defined enforcement zone monitored by fixed parking cameras.
This would help drivers avoid unintentional parking violations, especially in areas with unclear signage or new residents/visitors.
Suggested options:
• Toggle on/off in alerts settings
• Alert only below X km/h and when vehicle remains stationary for Y seconds

Bike trails serve as transportation networks, not just recreational routes. Therefore, it's important to communicate to riders about trail hazards that might effect their commute time such as high water on the trail causing need for reroute, areas where sight lines are restricted due to over growth of vegetation, fallen trees across the trail, security concerns, potholes and more. We'd love to test such a feature in Columbus, Ohio!

Notifications - Moving modal and/or providing users with ability to "X" out of notifications
In Apple Carplay, Waze notifications pop up and push the directions modal into a small bar with no information except what kind of turn and how far away it is. It removes the worded directions and has made me miss my turn plenty of times. There is no option to "X" out of the notification, only answer "Still there" or "Not still there", but what if I haven't reached the area yet so I can't accurately answer the prompt but need to see my directions? As someone who drives with the sound off in Waze, I'm requesting to provide users…

Help with tutor on motorway
Hi, I use your software a lot. It would be very useful to have help on the motorway in areas where there is a tutor. Another note to be improved in my opinion, is the choice of roads, sometimes offers streets not very comfortable, narrow, where maybe one car can pass at a time, not to do maybe a few more kilometers. Thanks for what you do.

Report option for areas with no phone service
There should be an option to report when your phone hits a dead spot. This could help in emergency situations. People would know where their calls will drop in order to attempt to reach a location with service available. The data could also be sold to phone companies to gain revenue for waze.

Home & Work separated settings
1st world problem here. I’d like an option that for my normal routes, like my saved “home” & “work”, to have different settings. I live in a toll infested area, when I drive to work everyday, I don’t want to take the tolls, but my other driving, I might. I’d like to be able to set up my routine drive to avoid tolls, but regular driving to have the option. I have to go in and switch the toggle back to “ON” for Tolls depending upon my drive. I think you should bring this up at the next board…

Private cottages
Please add ability to make private cottages or "streetless" residences with a name. In either way these must be searchable by name like regular residences in cities!
e.g. Oak Creek cottage, no street, Somestate
The problem is that in rural areas there are no streets, but people live there and want to create their residences to add pictures and so on. Currently you can add private residences there, but they are not searchable and creating all these places as public is also not an option.

Allow L1 editors to edit again
I'm a L1 map editor. For the past several months I have been completely unable to make edits, despite the fact that those I'm trying to make are obviously safe and reasonable edits.
