Externalize performance parameters as configuration.
Living in a tropical country, driving with my phone under the windshield of my car, for an hour or so, at 35°C, my phone gets so hot it could burn a hole through my pocket. (My phone is a Motorola RAZR i)
I think Waze has a high demand for memory and processing power, to be as responsive as it is.I am guessing that Waze has a lot of automatic tasks that run "every x seconds" to update the road reports, ETA, friends list, reports for you to thumbs up and so on.
I think Waze could make that…

Show street currently being driven on
Where it currently prompts for Car Type or Vehicle Info in a blue oval near the bottom center, instead show which street is currently being driven on. The other prompts don't seem important enough to be in that prime space all the time. Sometimes when driving by sense of direction it can be easy to not know which road you're on and it never shows on the map itself.

Suggest to show clearly which lane to choose for multi-lane roundabouts in the UK and bus lanes
Eagerly hoping Waze will have a clear guidance of which lane to choose for multi-lane roundabouts in the uk, i often get confused about which lane to choose. This will be very helpful especially for new drivers or people entering new zones, i often see crashes of cars choosing wrong lanes in multi-lane roundabouts. Please add this feature. Another suggestion is adding bus lanes alert.

Want to sell my app idea, means to make carpooling efficient.
Delhi state of India has initiated Odd Even System(means to reduce pollution in the city where odd and even cars are run on alternative days). I have designed an app specially to make odd even efficient.I would like google to buy the app idea and encourage Delhi government to introduce Odd Even as it will reduce pollution and traffic in the city and could be replicated in other city also.

Distinguer routes de terre et routes goudronnées
Il serait bon de distinguer les chemins de terre et les routes goudronnées ou de rajouter comme type de véhicule 4x4, tracteur, camionnette ou camping-car; car Waze calcule parfois des itinéraires plus rapides en nous faisant passer par des chemins accessible seulement en 4x4 ou en tracteur. C'est dangereux et souvent on ne peut plus faire demi-tour. En plus parfois on ne gagne même pas de temps à avoir pris ce raccourci du coup! Il faudrait pouvoir faire un signalement "cette route n'est accessible que pour: et lister les types de véhicules différents"

Dead End Setting Added
Can you all add a dead end sign image or a setting for South 5th St in Tampa, FL 33611? We get a lot of traffic down our small dead end street and a lot of cars turn down here saying their nav told them to. Perhaps a dead end sign or image on the map will reduce all of this traffic. Thank you.

iOS App: fewer taps to report incidents?
Feature request: Please allow custom shortcuts for reporting common items like "Car on Shoulder" or "Police" or "Crash". Maybe users can select which ones to have directly on the map display screen.
Right now, it takes 4 taps on the screen to report "Car on shoulder".

ReportThat is too many. I would put an icon for this this directly on the map screen. This is the most common interaction I have with Waze while driving.

Add ability to report moving maintenance vehicle in hard shoulder, or slow moving dangerous (slow car with defect in hard shoulder, convoi exceptionel, harvestor, tractor,...).

Android auto roundabout interface
The icon that my car is displaying on roundabouts is wrong continously. It has changed, but now shows the exit number and an icon that I need to turn around from where I came from. Please, just do the same as Google Maps is doing, show the right icon witht the right exit number (so exit 1, one quarter of a round).
Additionally, I also saw at the roundabout near I live that the first exit was displayed as an left turn, which is wrong altogether.11 votes -
Android Auto Dashboard navigation information/Steering wheel control
Make Navigation information available in the Dashboard of the Car.
If I use google maps I have navigation information like "turn left in 400m" in the dashboard (next to the speedometer) and can use the main screen e.g. for music control or other apps.
Would be nice if Waze would also support the additional dashboard options.Also in google maps its possible to select the last locations in the dashboard with buttons on the steering wheel, but not in waze pleas add this also.

If it is possible, it is just a suggestion in order to change the car screen system to something that you can do and it will be a very wonderful program.
First - themes for the program: colors, models of cars and their companies. We can control them within Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Secondly - The speedometer tab has a sporty shape and neat shapes that you can design and they are integrated with the themes that you will make with each car, company and model that has its own meter 💖💖1 vote -

Volume glitch
The iPhone volume is very glitchy. When my phone is connected to my Bluetooth in my car, the sound plays sporadically. No sound sometimes. Then I shut Waze off and restart, and sometimes the sound returns. Sometimes not. Have to do a # of restarts.

Speed limits ahead
How about an Info of speed limits ahead on cirrent road.
Why?
If you travel over Land, you are usually allowed to do 100kmh. At intersections, small villages etc. the speed Limit is usually reduced to 70kmh. If there could be some kind of Information with a speed Limit ahead, about 300 to 500m ahead you could just take you foot of the Gas an let the car roll to safe energy. I Do it regularly on known Routers, if traffic allows it (no one behind me how might be annoyed). With this Methode I m able to have 1…12 votes -
Indiquer les temps supplémentaires (delta) sur la carte à chaque croisement/sortie d'autoroute
Sur un trajet quotidien, les routes alternatives sont souvent connues.
Quand Waze indique de prendre un autre itinéraire que celui qu'on a l'habitude de faire, il peut être intéressant d'indiquer quel temps supplémentaire on mettrait en restant sur le chemin habituel.
Une différence (delta) de 1 ou 2 minutes est peut-être sans importance.Le trajet alternatif peut manquer de wazer indiquant s'il est viable ou non. Du coup il appartient plutôt au conducteur de décider s'il souhaite l'emprunter ou pas.
Ce que je suggère est d'indiquer par un nombre sur les routes sortant du trajet défini par Waze le temps…

Car display lacking blockages
Route blockages cannot be entered on the car display when the smartphone is connected via cable and Android Auto. More functions for the dashboard would be welcome.
