  1. Driver Safety Points: auto-reply to texts, speaker/bluetooth calls only, and speeding alerts.

    It would be great if, when you signed into Waze, you were prompted to click on Driver or Passenger. If you are the driver, Waze puts the phone into drive mode, and it either auto-replies to texts with one of five pre-set messages (set up in settings), or it becomes completely voice activated, so it reads your incoming text aloud and allows you to respond via voice only (also set in settings per driver preference).   2. local law icons (like "no-turn-on-red")

    I travel a lot for work, and never know basic road rules where I'm at. So I always err on the side of caution. Things like "Can I turn right on a red?", better not.
    It would be AWESOME if I could drop a very small little overlay with icons of my choosing for (optional overlay please, with checkboxes if I want this particular feature):
    - Right-turn-on-red "green-yes / red-no / grey-unknown"
    - Passing-on-right-allowed "<same colors>"
    - etc. for other 'odd' little region specific things that I'm sure you'll get 100 suggestions

  3. the ease does not know that my country here a lot of road toll, which need to Q to pay fees to go through, the ease alwayspop

    My idea to make wase better is, set in road toll on the map and drive, and speed limit buzzle sound, prevent overspeed on road and face summon by traffic officer. and a lot of speedtrap camera on high-speed expressway,
    set that in also with sound on speech, so that the driver can slow down the vehicle speed,

  4. PLEASE stop routing people on minor roads

    Please stop routing people on minor roads like Norwich St in Milwaukee! Our small, quiet road now has tons of traffic that it never had before (I've been here 20 years) and that it wasn't designed for, to the point that I might look into whether we can get speed bumps, especially since most of the cars are going WAY over our 25 mph speed limit. Keep people on the major roads that were designed for more traffic and that have higher speed limits, please.

  6. Allow "Map Problem" UR reporting using the 'Talk to report' feature to assist user to leave a UR while driving.

    Currently the 'Talk to report' feature allows for reporting road hazards but does not allow for reporting 'Map Problems' such as 'incorrect speed limit' or 'no u-turn allowed.'

    As a volunteer map editor, if I could tap the report button and say, "Drop UR here for ... " to open a UR with the UR type listed as 'Voice report' and the UR comment pre-filled with the voice to text input from the report, then I would be able to fix 90% more of the map problems that I notice while driving every day.

    Hi Waze team,

    I hope you're doing well. I'd love to suggest a feature that I've found useful in other navigation systems like TomTom AmiGo. It calculates the driver's personal average speed when passing through average speed camera zones. This speed is displayed on-screen and also read out aloud upon exit, ensuring drivers stay aware without having to constantly check their screens.

    Adding this to Waze would be a fantastic way to enhance driver awareness and road safety. I hope you'll consider incorporating this functionality into your app.

  10. Speed Camera Distance Notification

    Using Waze on my iPhone 14 I have noticed that although the position of the camera relative to my car icon is correct & accurate, distance notification pop-up is always about 150-175 yards out. As I pass the camera the countdown continues from 150 yards to zero !!

    It's rather annoying that Waze is still showing the distance after I have passed the camera !! The location of the cameras are always correct relative to the arrow representing my car.

    Also tried Waze on my car android head unit, and see the same error.

  11. Logging Options on Waze (distance, driving time, gas costs)

    It would be great that Waze could log some data about your trip.
    So you could include a kind of dashboard that could display your speed, average speed, distance driven, a kind of trip distance resetable by user, as well a fuel logging calculator.
    The fuel logging calculator should enable you to register the price spent and the ammount of fuel you've filled. This would be great for drivers to make some stats in order to reduce costs.

  14. Allow to select which alerts we do want - allowed speeding (+/- 5km/h), police and speed-cams, etc.

    Currently we either have all alerts or none.

    The problem is, we get alerts like: reduced zone ahead, or if "speeding" so traveling 1-2km/h above.
    So I have alerts disabled, but then I neither get important alerts.

    Allow to select us which alerts we want:
    1. speedig - yes/no/yes, if exceeds N km/h
    2. reduced speed zone ahead
    3. police and speedcams
    4. other dangers (potholes, roadkill, car stopped)
    5. warnings (fog, etc.)

  15. Section Control

    In a lot of European countries you have speed-control via section-control, means:
    the avgerage speed is measured of a certain distance by taking picture of car when entering and leaving the measuring section.
    Unfortunatly currently you can not warn other users of such controls.
    On contrary, such controls are only posted as stationary speed-control when entering, which is very misleading

  17. Tourist safety suggestion - prompts re staying on the correct side of road

    When tourists travel to a country where they have to drive on a different side of the road it can be potentially dangerous. I am in New Zealand where we drive on the left. Accidents are often caused when tourists mistakenly drift onto the right as they are on auto-pilot, and cause a head-on collision.

    Most of the rental car companies put a "keep left" sticker on the inside of the windscreen to remind drivers but I don't think this enough. My idea is that Waze would create a special "tourist" version of the audio guide that would include…
