Turn Signal on Arrow icon
Most drivers in my countries do not have the habit or using turn signal on their vehicles before turning. I suggest adding blinking turn signal lights on the arrow icon in the app just before a turn to remind drivers to use their actual turn signal.

It's complain not suggestion
Although I adore the app, many local updates—particularly those regarding speed bumps and road closures—are absent.
When I attempted to assist with map updating, your editor volunteer sent me a message with instructions, which are
not feasible to complete using Android Auto or
driving a vehicle. In addition, the message he sent

Avoid low emissions zones button
An avoid low emissions zones button would be helpful for the drivers of pre 2016 non euro 6 diesel vehicles.
I intend to visit Edinburgh and Dundee in the summer both of which have low emissions zones. For me Birmingham and Bristol low emissions zones also need to be avoided.3 votes -
Improve vertical UI on iPhone
Please fix the vertical user interface on iPhone! It is a complete mess, with large blacked out areas unnecessarily blocking the useful map space, therefore limiting our map vision and app experience, also the shortcuts or pop-ups are difficult to reach/click. Moreover, it doesn’t show a green line when entering part of the road under avg speed radar control. It should be an easy fix, just look at the carplay version, or maybe take ideas from google or apple maps. I am literally switching to other map providers because I have a terrible experience of using waze in vertical mode.

editor level
I recently got to Level 2 Editor and contributed a lot in my region. My region is large and population is spread out across the province of New Brunswick. a lot of roads are for level 3 and up editors, but for me to gain 25000 points to move to level 3 is almost impossible. Wish there was a way to that a person could gain higher access via referral and be underneath another higher editor that could monitor my work, This would be more profitable for the app to be developed faster and get serious editors involved.

Take a trip with friends/follow me function
Problem: when my friends and I take a trip with more than 1 car, it is difficult to keep both cars on the same route and with the same stops.
Potential solution: the abality to send a link that would sync up our drives to be able to see where they are on the route in real time. If the future route changes, the device that did not initiate the change would be able to accept the change. Speed alarm incorporated or information to be incorporated to automated driving system
I would like to see in my life smart cities where the limit speed is set by Waze users in order to get less acidents and preserve life. Cities will have antenas to spread the real speed limit to automated pilot or driver assistance on the vehicles controling the upper limit of velocity.

Have more categories for landmarks.
One example is Golf Course (and it would be great if it is shows up as green on the maps)
Another is Construction Zone. Users can identify construction zone in the map editor to warn other user (especially those who are not familiar to the area) of potential heavy vehicles entering and exiting the construction site (a more permanent thing instead of having to report it daily)

Suggested improvements to display
UConnect system is installed in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I don't use it due to the cost of upgrading the map. But, I do like some of its features that would greatly benefit Waze. I have screen shots available if needed but don't see a way to add to this post.
- Show the name of the actual city/town that your in. Really helps when traveling
- Show highway signs on map that exactly match the highway road signs (image wise) when exiting, merging, etc. EXTREMELY helpful in large cities and enhances road lane guidance

How about a police icon on the move? Only have visible or not. Also, another icon for other emergency vehicles such as Ambulances or fire vehicles. Would really help to have them. Thanks!

Android Auto/ Waze 4.91 70.705
With this update when opening waze in Android auto, most times the map opens and its extremely zoomed put making my icons the size of my screen and the speed indicator extremely large. Disconnect and reconnect and it fixes itself to standard resolution. This only happens on waze when connected to AA. Bug issues??
Also, I used to be able to use Google assistant on phone or car to say a destination of address to navigate to, and it would give me options for search results. But now it doesn't do anything and I have to stop the car…

Improvements
Reduce the blue large size line a little bit (1/3). It will help the drivers to get the correct small street that is when the avenue ends and turns to 3 small entrances for example:right, left and straigth and they are very close to each other and the blue line hides the gray line. Even with information on top of app, in some moments the internet takes important seconds to update the information and due to this the driver takes the wrong way.
In big cities like São Paulo it will be helpfull during daily routine routes.

Events should have more control over closures
Since events don't always start on time and rarly end on time, there should be an easier way to update all closures:
A. After defining the dates & times of an event, all closures will inharit it name and times. This will save most of the work handling a large event.
B. Closures who are part of an event will not get deleted when their time is up, but will stay "inactive" for at least a week.

Fix Fundamental Flaws Please
It seems as though WAZE has a 3 fundamental flaws:
1) Sometimes, I open it simply to see if there is traffic congestion but don’t need directions. Even so, the lovely, very helpful lady doesn’t seem top realize I don’t want direction and speaks to me.
2) Even when I press the red ‘stop’ button the lady continues to talk to me. (Both of these situations are extremely frustrating, can be dangerous if I want to stop her talking while I’m driving!)

TOWNS should be able to submit DO NOT USE THIS ROAD on certain roads
Towns should have a way of reporting problems with rerouting. In the case of many small towns intersecting two major highways, not all roads are appropriate for heavy traffic.
Towns should have a way to “prevent through traffic” on Waze, since Waze users totally blow off “no thru traffic” signs!
For example, small towns still using one lane bridges need to be able to prevent over use and over-weight; afternoon traffic blocking residential roads just because someone is trying to bypass an on-ramp; especially tricks using small town roads not equipped for big trucks and curbs, lawns, and lights all…

Hazzard confirmation UI
While driving it's very hard to use the Yes/No buttons, while paying attention to the road and hazzard that was just announced. I would suggest a large control with swipe left/right, that is easy to use without looking at the phone screen for long, and without trying to be very precise with your fingers on the screen. You could still split it in two areas, so a click on the left or right still work as Yes/No, just to avoid annoying users that are accustomed with the current UI.
