Add navigation options to the main screen, rather than hidden in the Settings.
I frequently need to check arrival times for navigation where I want to take the motorway or avoid the motorway - but the only way to change navigation options is in Settings, which is a) hard to get into when driving (trying to drive and use my phone at the same time is dangerous and/or illegal), and b) impossible to get into via Android Auto on my car's in-built display.

We propose that Waze introduce a native standalone version for modern vehicles running Android-based systems and HarmonyOS, optimized for large built-in displays and in-car connectivity, without relying on Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

Let kids download Waze!!
Why can't my 9 year old daughter download Waze?? She switched to Android and now it says this app is not available for kids to download now. It's for EVERYONE so why can't she download it??? She like putting in our destination and watching where we go. Atleast give it an option for parents to allow it to be downloaded or change your setti gs since the app is rated for everyone....

A tela de navegação anterior era melhor utilizada, hoje a tela, com os atalhos fixos, é pequena e com muita poluição de ícones na tela. A versão anterior era bem melhor.

waze voice reporting issue
After the last two updates, when I have my phone plugged in, the "speak the error function doesn't work as well on Android Auto. The music doesn't pause and it'll take a minute to process. It only really started functioning this way after the "big arrow issue" got fixed on Android Auto.

Launcher not functional
The latest update prevents use on the mobile screen while connected to Android Auto. The button to intentionally exclude Waze from the Android launcher is not functional. The Waze map only works on the car screen (if Waze is included in the launcher). If Waze is not in the launcher, the map does not work on the phone and, regardless of the settings, it refers to Android Auto and only displays line-by-line navigation commands on the phone, not the map. Please restore the original settings and fix the update error!

Is there an issue with waze?
I use mine via android auto, and the last few days, any alert I get, on the left hand side, will not clear until I cancel route and restart

Information bubbles are too big
Hi, thanks for mantain Waze. Information bubbles seems to be too big and invasive for the size of the map and screen. My suggestion is to reduce and resume the info in the bubbles. Waze on Android Auto, standard size screen, Hyundai ioniq 2020.

Please enlarge the Font on the maps. With the latest update, they are too small. Also, please restore the OLD icons.

Also, using Waze inside Android Auto is cumbersome. Can Waze be separated out? I really don't like Android Auto or Apple Car Play. My phone and streaming services worked fine without the overhead. Now, EVERYTHING goes through Car Play or Android Auto - text messages, voice mails, streaming, etc. Just pull Waze OUT and let us run it separately from AA and CP.1 vote -
Allow users to use the speech recognition from Waze rather than using Google Assistant
The problem is Google switched to using Google Assistant which doesn't not work with city names in other countries because somehow someone thought it would be a good idea to do that when Google Assistant only knows 10 languages, most of them being dialects of German, French, or Spanish.
The "idea" is to allow the user to disable Google Assistant and use Waze Speech Recognition (which works quite fine).
This is an Android Auto thing but Google ignores it.

Get directions from Map Coordinates
Hi,
My name is Adrian Șulumberchean and I am the developer of Map Coordinates Android App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sands.mapCoordinates.android&referrer=utm_source%3Dwaze_suggestion). Inside Map Coordinates, I used a "Get Directions" option which takes the user to a third party navigation app and navigates him to the chosen location.
At the moment I use this url to open Google Maps Navigation: "http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=&daddr=45.1234,25.1234". Can you please also accept this url so that users will be able to navigate with any app they want?

Advanced config option: GPS inaccuracy tolerance
So I'm currently using a rather cheap chinese android phone with an abyssimal GPS system. Even though it reports 5 meters of GPS accuracy, the exact position jumps all over the place, maybe in a 100m radius.
This confuses the hell out of waze, and I get teleported all over the surrounding neighborhood while driving.
Maybe it would be possible to add an advanced configuration option to fine-tune waze's location-estimation-algorithm?
Something along the lines of "if the GPS position fluctuates by X meters in Y seconds, assume that the user is still on the recommended route, or at least hasn't…2 votes -
Waze doesn't load the map on auto auto
Waze works offline when i use wireless android auto and loading the maps completely. Another navigation app work perfectly.

Please allow us to turn off the speed limit and actual speed!
I am able to turn it off on the application, but it remains when using the app in android auto.
