WazeCoin, the NFT of Waze
I'd like to share with you an idea I recently had to try to increase Waze user engagement with the app. Launch an NFT that will be linked to the points that are fetched in the app.
First, we have to understand what an NFT (Non fungible Token) is: A non-fungible token is a special type of cryptographic token that represents something unique. Need a widget for android to display map on home screen.
I use a tablet for my car entertainment center, and use waze over google maps. I want a way to add a widget that can display current navigation map on the home screen, so that way I won't need to use split screen all the time. Could have ability to launch full app by hitting the widget if need to interact with waze completely, if too hard to have it interact fully on widget only.

I am a kayaker and I know I see a LOT of folks on Facebook trying to figure out where items of importance/danger are on their paths - sweepers (trees that have fallen over the water but not gone under), strainers (trees that have fallen into the water, and other debris, as well as places that are good to put-in and take out, or such places that might not be accessible anymore. CarPlay Alert Buttons
When using CarPlay the alert buttons that pop up are thin and vertically stacked. With the motion of the car these are very hard to hit accurately. I believe about half of my Thanks or Not There button presses are wrong. Switch to Taller side by side buttons. There is generally less horizontal motion of the car, and this should result in fewer errors.

Android auto - missing setting
Om android auto user interface there is no posibility on change route option: "avoid/not avoid toll roads"
Very interesting because when you are driving maybe you want to change it easily.

2 Ideas!
Hi, ive got two ideas: 1. When starting a new ride from a parking car, Waze does not know which direction the vehicle is facing. And because of Murphy's rules, most of the time it will plan the opposite route :) My suggestion is: before starting navigation I will have the option to calibarate the direction my vehicle facing (button that using the internal compass) . and now that Waze can understand that im facing east for example it can plan the right route. 2. adding an option so Waze know im driving a motorcycle so it can plane the…

As for the idea with adjusting car facing direction, it is under consideration.

Option to turn off alerts for road construction
I can choose to toggle Road Constructions on or off for "Display On Map."
I would like to be able to toggle off alerts for Road Constructions, specifically, under "Alerts on Route."
Driving in Minnesota in the summer, it is a given that there will be road construction everywhere. Place Updates and Approvals with Chat
We chat with users that send URs.
It will be helpful to chat to users that add places or update places with info and or pictures.
I have found myself having to make a judgement call on accepting or rejecting places based on information that is unclear.

sound alert for new route
I use my waze on my daily drive, and occasionally when there is a traffic accident, I get re-routed. The problem is that I don't see the little pop-up that says, there's a better route every time. And I end up missing a faster route and being stuck in traffic. A sound alert to tell me I'm re-routed would really help this problem.

In road hazards, include an option for "rough road".
There are a number of times when traveling and the road I was on was in terrible condition. It was extremely bumpy, some pot holes, loose gravel, etc. I would have liked a warning regarding these conditions. While there is a pot hole warning option, that does not clearly express the quality of the road in toto. These rough road conditions apply to paved roads as well as dirt roads. In reality, in some places where I have driven the dirt roads were in better condition than the paved roads.

Keep same web link when sharing via (follow my drive)
If like waze to be able to either allow for a vanity web address unique to each Wazer when they select to share their drive for people to follow their progress via the web or at least keep the web address the same for a set number of hours. If I share my drive and close Waze at anytime during my drive and reopen it, I then have to share my drive all over again with a different URL. Animals
WHY was the animal alert removed?! That really sucks! Everyone in my community relies on this alert as we have an abundance of deer and bear! At least give an option to select alerts for individuals. But I see this falling on tin ears. Can anyone recommend another app that has some type of Animal alert?

Add option allowing your URs to be posted under your username (not anonymoulsy)
It has been said numerous time that due to private data protections, URs are always posted anonymously.
However, many editors use the UR system as a mean to "take notes" of problems during a trip, and then will correct deal with those UR when on WME after the trip.
However, those URs are always marked as anonymous on WME and other editors often start to reply those UR not knowing that those were done by other fellow editors. This leads to a lost of time, since those UR should be considered as "already watched by another editor".
