  1. Option to delete route

    Please add an option to delete your route while keeping Waze running. Currently the only way to do this (Windows Mobile 2.0 version) is exit to Waze, restart it and quickly reply No to the resume question.

  2. Add information/instructions on when to add a pass

    My suggestion is for the following feature:
    Either:
    Add an information panel when users enter the Toll and HOV passes page for the first time, informing them that adding passes may route them into areas or through restricted roads.
    Or:
    Allow us to add information against each pass/permit, giving the user guidance as to what each pass is for.

    My suggestion solves this problem:
    There is less chance that the user will select a pass/permit that they shouldn’t have due to the misunderstanding of how the pass system works.

  3. Truck Driver friendly

    I would love to see a truck driver (class A and class B) friendly to where truck drivers can see height of bridges and the maximum weight capacity it holds. This would open up some much more interest for people and increase usage. My spouse hates google maps and Apple Maps because they never work for him he loves wazes but wishes it incorporates truck drivers. Please take this into consideration I would appreciate it so much thank you.

  4. HOV only ramps and roads

    When Wazers select an HOV route, because of the way HOV was implemented, any direct access ramp or otherwise HOV only road will never be suggested.

    Waze needs to be able to suggest all HOV options, including HOV only flyovers and ramps.

  5. Alertas de Lombada.

    No Brasil é muito comum a instalação de lombadas nas vis e isso pode causar acidentes. Seria tão fácil ter esse alerta no aplicativo. Recentemente tive um prejuízo de R$7 mil por conta de uma lombada sem sinalização. Seria algo como buraco na via, só que específico para lombadas.

  6. Show as Tractor

    Display yourself as a tractor or slow vehicle on the map. Yes also agricultural vehicles use waze and normal roads. They would like to warn other drivers. Like trash trucks or snow plow trucks.

  7. Adding the option for a visual timer

    It would be so helpful to have an integrated visual timer on the map. My child has a disability and visuals are so important to our daily life. I find myself toggling back and forth when using navigation and it can be difficult to manually adjust the time when there’s traffic or other delays. Having an integrated visual timer would be so helpful to families like ours!

  10. Add a penalty to PR crossing an LS+ junction

    Suggest adding a penalty to all PR segments that junction with an LS+ segment for continuation. That is, do not continue on to another PR segment unless necessary.

    This would be helpful for alleyways in cities to force the user to an LS+ segment instead of continuing alleyway to alleyway.

    Also useful for local-access only situations were we want to force a user off the PR segments ASAP. I can't think of any situations where this would be an issue as if the destination is on a subsequent PR segment, that would rule.

  11. You absolutely need to do this! Google maps lets me minimise the map so it is a floating window so waze stays open while other apps are open

    Waze should stay open and minimalize to a floating window just like google maps does. I love waze but this is the one reason i still use google maps.

    How can i deactivate construction alerts? For me it is no help to get informed of constructions and it interrupts me unnecessary.

    The waze arrow is not visible in full screen apple car play in Mustang Mach-e. The car/arrow needs to be differently aligned.

    when routing through a narrow road or bridge alert drivers to that limit so they can reroute and not get stuck with a larger vehicle or trailer

  15. Make STILL THERE? larger

    Please make the “Still there” and “Not there” voices larger and separate them. I often miss what I am going for because of a bump on the road or just because they are right next to each other. Separating them to something similar to when I receive a phone call and have the option to accept or decline would be very nice. Having large green and red buttons to say if a report is still there would result in less focus away from driving and less errors when selecting.

  16. Finger hold for icon placement

    When placing a hazard or police location on the map, currently you have to tap on the screen to bring up the choices, tap for police, tap again for their location and then tap again to place it on the map. Why not after the first tap, if you keep your finger on the screen, automatically show the options, slide your finger to the one you want, and then once your finger is released, the icon drops straight into the map.
    Simple and less steps to get the right icon on the map and also lessens the time concentrating on…

  17. Disable this feature (with Police exposing) for Ukraine immediately

    Dear Waze.
    My name is Mykhailo. and i'm a QA lead from Ukraine in a similar product as you.
    I've been using your app for years, which I'm thankful for.

    Today, in this dark age, our country use your app to get away from hot spots to west.
    Although , the feature that expose Police spots helps russian's separatists escape.
    PLEASE I'm begging you to disable (at least temporary) this feature (with Police exposing) for Ukraine immediately .

  18. Have a policy against hate-speech on editor community discord

    A number of Northeast Editors including leadership have the caption "Let's Go Brandon" as their Discord status. The Waze community is not the place for these extremists who would use the platform to spew vile comments about the President of the United States. It should be a place where all are made to feel welcome. These individuals should certainly not have community leadership roles.

  19. Inclusive maps for color-blind people

    I've been thinking of a problem Waze might find not that difficult to solve. Congestion leves are represented by different shades of colors, mainly yellows and reds. But lots of people around the world are color blind at some level, so the congestion colors are useless for them. I am suggesting that instead of simply using the plain shades of the colors, Waze star using hatched colors. This might be really helpful to a lot of people. Besides, this would help build an inclusive culture and policy.

  20. Add an audio player to the list of compatible apps with Waze

    You should add an audio player that can play audio files that are on the phone itself to the list of compatible music apps so you can listen to your own files and recordings while using Waze, not just radio or other broadcasting apps. For example a recording of a lecture from your professor that you have on your phone.
