  2. Map mistake

    I couldn't find an email or something similar where I can report a map mistake so I'll try user voice. I live in a small village in Lithuania - Lankeliškiai. We have a beautiful Church (Lankeliškių Švč. Trejybės bažnyčia) which attracts a lot of tourists. Anyway, this year we noticed that there are a lot of confused people near our main farm and the reason is that the Waze map shows that place as a Church. Actually, Church is located at these coordinates (54.567565, 22.979511), so please, change it on your map and save us some time from navigating lost…

  3. Note or comment on reason for place update request in editor

    Create an option to add a note onto a PUR in the editor when a change is pending for a higher level editor to approve the request.

    There are several suggestions on being able to add reasons for why an update is rejected, but a method for the submitting editor to explain the reason for a change might be more effective in helping the senior editor make the decision to accept or reject.

    This can currently be done with a map comment, but often those arent noticed when reviewing the PURs in busy areas or will remain on the map…

    901 Ashburn Way, Swedesboro, NJ 08085 is a corner property where Ashburn Way and Holly Drive intersect. You have it listed on Bunker Hill Drive in the same Development.

  7. Re-enable addition of red light cameras

    The county I live in has installed new red light cameras on one of the parkways that runs through it. This parkway has a number of at-grade crossings, thus the installation of the red light cameras. I would have outlined/identified these cameras if I were able to, so as to warn others of their existence. Unfortunately, it seems that this option has been removed. Please bring it back so I may warn others of these cameras. Thank you.

  8. Changing the color of street names along the route

    The street names along the suggested route have the same blue color as the route itself. This causes a visual clutter on the map and hinders the perception of the route.

  9. RTC : ability to add them on current tiles

    Hi,
    the real time closure have a problem :

    We put them in WME and WME validates them according to their current state in database. But they apply on livemap.

    Imagine I have a street that is A->B. Then they decide to reverse it. So it is now saved B->A.

    In WME I have B->A
    In livemap I still have A->B until tiles update.

    To avoid routing people A->B, it would be nice to add a closure, but WME refuse since it thinks the road is in opposite direction.

  10. Better history for place update

    Hey,

    in place edit history, it would be nice to have more details on PUR : the only status is accepted or rejected.
    Maybe it is not easy to tell what photo was refused or a refused change name, but it would be nice to know what was the updated fields (was it about adding or removing a photo, rename the venue).

  11. Speed limit update requests to Production in ROW

    Given that the appearance of SLURs has now calmed down I would like to make a proposal to move SLURs from beta to production editor.

    There are, however, two questions to everyone in ROW:
    1) can you reports SLs from app? New SLURs pop up from time to time, but I haven't been able to make one myself;
    2) would you like to bring all previous SLURs to prod or have a reset and make a fresh start? My vote goes to "bring everything to prod", because the current amount and appearance of new ones is manageable.

    As it was announced in the forum we are currently working on improving the SLUR workflow and user experience.
    This suggestion will be taken into consideration in the work.

  12. Do not move my map somewhere else after an edit

    Hi,
    when editing from the feed (closing MP, UR), after saving WME moves to a random place where it thinks there are other UR I can solve. It is extremely annoying. When editing I save often because of various save bugs, and as soon as I saved it moves somewhere else and I cannot find where I was editing to finish the job.
    Same problem when saving, if Waze thinks there is a problem it moves my map to where it thinks the problem is, and if it is a long road, it happens often that the road is offscreen.…

  13. Add closures to new segments

    It would be really great if we could add closures to segments just after creating them. Currently that's not possible. In this case, once the segments are built into the map, the closures would be added to them automatically

    Why?

    Sometimes city administrations make few changes in the traffic by creating new roads. The problem is that most of the times (at least where I live) we don't know exactly when those roads will be released. In addition, map build may delay.

    So, as soon as we know a new road will be built, we can create it on WME…

  14. New Place Address

    I'm not sure if it's a minor-bug or intended, but I ask you to take a look:

    Issue regarding Map Editor Beta and Production.

    :arrow: When you find a new place waiting for approval, if you click on the red arrow everything runs smooth, but if you feel the need to click on the yellow arrow to check what's that place is about before approving it (sometimes you can't tell just by the name title), notice it isn't possible to change the address... well maybe it's ok at this point before approving it.

  17. Subscribe to segment

    It may be nice for us to be able to "subscribe" to a segment ID, not sure if it should be rank locked or not.

    Basically, add a check box on a segments panel to subscribe to changes of the segment.

    When subscribed to a segment, if a change is made to a segment the subscriber gets an email notification that their segment has had changes (and of course provide a PL)

    Among other possible uses, it could be used to get notification if someone makes a change to a segment that is part of the Toll Price feature.

  18. Junction Box Modal dialog does not appear in practice mode

    In practice mode, the modal dialog used to choose the routes through the Junction Box does not appear.

    It does appear when logged in.

    This is inconsistent. All the features of Junction Box should be visible in practice mode so editors can learn about junction box without risk of accidentally making changes.

  19. Allow users to keep hands on the keyboard until done typing

    As a general principal of design, please allow the user to keep both hands on the keyboard until done typing information

    Examples of desired behavior:
    Places - After entering address, use the return/ enter key to activate the "apply" button. Or else automatically apply address changes when tab is used to advance to another field. (Currently, we have to move hand to mouse, click apply, find correct place on keyboard, and then use tab to advance to name field and resume typing)

    Closures - After entering description, use the tab key to advance to "direction" (Currently, this does not work).…

  20. Enable Undo after Save

    It happened to me a couple of times. I deleted and element, clicked Save, and then understood it wasn't the element I meant to delete.

    It would be great to enable undo changes that have been just saved.
