At the moment, this is not planned. That said, we introduced more user settings in URs that hopefully have improved the overall experience.

Since bilingual support is a bigger issue affecting not just the WME, this is a company-wide decision that we will bring to the relevant teams.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.
YogiJB supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedNeed this. Here we call them boroughs. Within Montreal we have several boroughs that have 1st street / 1st avenue. We need a way to distinguish them. Now we're forced to split up the city into "City (borough name)"
Having a new field for sub-divisions for cities will help with this. -

An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commented@Tzachi Cohen: this is off-topic, as it's not something to report. You can create your own suggestion to have a post-trip overview in the app. You can already view your drives in the Waze Map Editor via the "Drives" tab, but it doesn't always correctly report the trip nor all the trips.

An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedThis already exists. Simply convert any street to two-way, update the turn restrictions (without this, even a temporary two-way in a way similar to RTCs will have no impact) and you can add driving restrictions (program the end date.)
You'll need to await the next Tile Update for it to take effect, though.

Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedI'd suggest to reach out to your local map-editing community to figure out if the functional classification of the roads can be changed. Waze already prioritizes higher-class roads, such as collectors.

An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedThere are currently alarms that sound if a driver breaches the speed limit (also sounds if the speed limit suddenly changes to a lower limit and the driver is moving at a superior speed.)

An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedYour second suggestion already exists though.
Once you've set your destination and route, you can hit the top bar (where the instructions are) that will come down and show all the list of instructions on your route (under "next turns") but there is also a tab with all the "Reports ahead" that are going to be on your route.Obviously, the reports are ephemeral, so they can change during your drive.

Hey !
Can you please share some more details and examples for this issue which you would like to address in this suggestion?
This will help us to better understand what will be the best solution.Thank you
YogiJB supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedVery good point, Bob, but I believe the point would be to create a new category of road, like a "Parking Lot Collector." It would not route drivers through it from one public road to another, but it would have a lower penalty than regular PLRs to get people around such huge parking lots more efficiently. The roads that are now PR in your example would be the Parking Lot Collector Roads.
The PL Collectors could also get traffic-jam detection when comparing entrances/exits for bigger parking lots. -

An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedThat is not for Waze Map Editor, that should be a topic for the regular Waze Suggestion Box: https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223-waze-suggestion-box
I'm not yet at the rank to do lane guidance, so I might be wrong, but I believe this is possible.
You'll need to start with adding a reserved lane on the segments (e.g. HOV lane / public transit lane) and then it should appear in the lane guidance interface.
/edit: programming more and more LGA, this is really an essential thing to not have segments pop up as "problematic" in the LGA scripts. Having the option to simply set a "reserved" symbol (e.g. ♢ ) is really needed.
