Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

Fully disagree with that suggestion. As a German I can tell speed signs are normally placed in a manner so you can see and read them before you pass them. That's enough to adjust your speed. Also if you enable speed warnings in Waze and act when they sound you are on safe side.
Use your biological system aka brain to avoid speed tickets and keep waze warnings reserved for real dangers.
Also there is already system in place inside waze that informs you about large decreased speed limits (more than 20 km/h i think).
