An error occurred while saving the comment Craig24x7 commentedFixed speed cameras can be added to the map by your local editor community. You can find yours in this list: https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46319 then make a post with the relevant details. This applies to all map updates, errors, corrections, etc. (although some you'll be able to do yourself through the map editor).
Alternatively you can report it as a map error and attach a message to your report.
Mobile speed cameras should be reported as police to warn other drivers, as these reports have a temporary lifespan on the map.

Hey jangliss,
Thank you very much for this detailed suggestion.
Currently there is a lot of work around communication between the WME and the client (the app), to find how best should be handled. We will do our best to share some more details about it in the near future.
At this point this is currently not planned, and therefore won’t move to our back log.
If any thing in this direction will be changed, we will update accordingly.
Best,

Great timing! We’re currently working on having the history of closures. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME.

Combined red light and speed cameras (known as 'Speed on Green' in the UK) are getting more and more common now and need to be mappable. I know other countries also use these cameras, so this will be relevant in other places around the globe.
These cameras are a single unit, but monitor both red light violations AND speed at the same time.
Without being able to map these combination cameras, users are creating URs stating that Waze isn't alerting them properly. Because we can only choose one or the other, this is frustrating for the user. This will likely become more and more common as some regions are gradually replacing existing red light cameras with these combined ones.
I know this idea has been suggested before, but I can only find suggestions from a couple of years ago with no staff response.
