  1. Add Shortcut to "Vehicle Stopped On Side of Road"

    I found a post from 2016 asking for this and it still hasn't been implemented!

    There should be a shortcut on the navigation screen to send a "Vehicle Stopped on Shoulder" report with a single click.

    This is, by far, the most common type of report and it currently requires FIVE button presses - all of them while looking down at the screen. A user-configurable single-click report button would be even better, but a "Vehicle Stopped On Shoulder" button would be a massive improvement to the current 5-clicks.

  5. Send directions to Mobile

  6. I do not like the new sleep feature! I want to be able to turn waze OFF! Please switch it back

    I like the old feature allowing us to turn waze off when we get to our destination, not the sleep mode. Can you please put back the option to turn off waze

  7. So destination travel time time without directions

    I use Waze daily for my commute and never for directions. I think it would be nice to turn on wazes and it would show commute times to destinations like work or home. Also up to date commute time changes to beat traffic congestion. The map is to zoomed in to see what is ahead of me to make important changes. I know I can achieve this information already but don't want directions and don't feel like entering a bunch information every 5mins.

  8. Connect Waze to other apps with IFTTT-channels

    Waze collect a lot of useful information throughout a trip. This information could be used to by other apps, if there was a way to connect them. IFTTT is a very popular way to do this. Simple recipes allow for strong applets, in the form of IF This Then That.

    Examples:
    If I reach my destination, then log my trip to a Google Doc Spreadsheet.
    If I reach my destination, then send a notification to person x.
    If I am x miles from my destination, open my garage.
    If I start my trip, then turn my thermostat…

  10. Make Waze AUTO sleep after 5 sec when Power is UNpluged while in the App

    Make a setting to make Waze AUTO sleep after 5 sec(or X sec, normal Waze countdown style Ok/Cancel box) when Power is UNpluged while in the app. This could be further improved with a "only within 5 mins of reaching a destination" setting.

    I think everyone that have Waze in the car has the phone on acc power and it would be so nice not to have to remember to Sleep Waze EVERY time I get to my destination.

  11. We need Waze to be able to take us back the same road for a return trip."breadcrumb trail"

    I find it necessary to return from a destination sometimes the same way I went. I want to find something I saw on my trip. having a breadcrumb trail would be great.

  12. Support event driven notitfications to zapier or ifttt

    It would be nice Waze could attach to other systems with events via for example zapier and/or ifttt. Events that I think of:

    Starts navigation to 'lat/lon' (bookmarkname)
    Arrives at destination
    Is in traffic
    Shares route
    Is 1 hours, half hour, 15 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes away from its destination

    Logs drive (from/to, starttime/endtime, distance traveled, (compressed) gpx attached.

    This way everybody could easily make rules like

    log {all} journeys to a google spreadsheet.

    Or share my drive easily on facebook, twitter, etc.

    Or, when I go {home} between {16:00} and {19:00} share that drive with {spouse}.

  16. Add the capability to request assistance when you are the "vehicle on the side or the road"

    Many times when driving and passing vehicles that are stopped on the side of the road, i am often inclined to stop and offer assistance. Many times i have stopped just to find out it is something I can not assist with or something for which they already have help on the way for. It would be nice if you have to pull over, you can self report the vehicle on the side of the road and specify if you could use some assistance or not. Like: need help changing a tire, engine trouble, don't have a phone-need a tow,…

    Upgrade the "Add a Stop" function to sort the destinations (gas, food, coffee) from closest to farthest.
    Right now, if you are in the midst of a long trip and click "Add a stop" and ask see options (for food or gas or coffee) you see locations near your destination.

    Suggestion is to add distance options, like "show closests first".
    What good is a gas station that is 125 miles away? ;)

    Waze keeps suggesting to me to go to the hospital where my father died at two weeks ago.
    I keep removing it, and it keeps coming back.

  20. Option to Remove Speed Cameras on the Other Side of the Road

    I would like the option to Remove Speed Cameras on the Other Side of the Road. This should be a simple fix within the settings and would allow for less confusion when driving on a motorway. I’m often caught out by speed cameras and slowing right down from the speed limit to well below it so there’s not chance of me being fined. However, I do this for all speed camera alerts even when they are on the other side of the road just to be safe. It would be so much more pleasant to disable other side of the…
