Improve Road Directions on Android Auto
The road signs show the exit numbers in the green aesthetic boxes but it's hard to see on android auto as it's small and negligible, hindering driving.

Using voice commands to report on issues on the road
Would it be possible to report on traffic jams and other road dangers etc. via voice command instead of having to tap them on the screen? A voice command can be made much faster and is less distracting than the current way where you have look what to enter on the phone screen.

Please remove from your street listing Canada Road, between Woodside Road and I280 in Woodside, CA 94062, this two lane country road is not appropriate for commuters. It has not stop lights, and only two stop signs. Long lines of cars block up this street during evening commute hours.

Avoid speed camera feature
It would be helpful for a feature that allows one to avoid speed cameras, like the avoid toll roads or freeways feature.

Android auto - missing setting
Om android auto user interface there is no posibility on change route option: "avoid/not avoid toll roads"
Very interesting because when you are driving maybe you want to change it easily.

Removing a road from the route
When you put in a destination, Waze only shows three options. Pick one and then you can see the details on the navigation list. There are times that you simply don’t want to get on a specific road for whatever reason, so it would be great to be able to swipe and delete a particular road in the list, and have Waze redirect accordingly. Another app I use has this feature and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used it. Would be nice to have Waze do the same.

Calculate tolls for each route.
In many countries, tolls have a substantial price difference depending on the hour of the day, and toll-less routes are often just terribly crowded. Being able to choose between 2 or more toll roads knowing in advance how much each route costs would allow us to make an intelligent decision!

BIG BUTTONS OF THE ROAD REMARKS
Please, consider to have a bigger buttons (mainly for a road remarks), which should be pressed during driving. There is impossible to hit the small buttons on a mobile during driving. There would be best and the safer to have a transparency buttons as a half of diplay (right/left or up/down...

New road segment for yields
Currently the routing algorithm assigns a penalty where ever a junction is located in the editor. I believe no penalty should be assigned to a junction with a connecting yield segment, as traffic typically isn't slowed down at these junctions. I believe that creating a new yield road type segment would improve routing accuracy. I've seen many URs that could have been prevented if such a segment already existed. A junction with signal lights should not be treated the same as a junction with a yield.

Deconflict Police Blue colour with road blue so you can see the icon.
Current police icon gets 'hidden' by the blue colour of the road. If the colours were changed slightly the icon would become more visible.

Ignore Traffic Option for Real Time Road Closures
For Real Time Road Closures, please add the option to "Ignore segment traffic". Currently if there is any traffic detected on a Closed segment, the Closure will be put into Suspend mode. This can be problematic since some Waze users choose to ignore a closure, because they can't "see" any backed up traffic due to the closure, and will cause the closure to be paused until enough traffic has been stopped behind the closure and the segment detects no more movement. If waze can share the road condition data out through webhook or API, i think it can help the governments of all countries to better tackle the road issue especially the potholes! We need to get it fixed asap !

Route Alerts
The shortened route alert should have user specified times. I do not care about saving 3 minutes on a 6 hour drive. There should also be a limited number of times Waze asks for this route. My last trip I ended up just letting Waze reroute me onto a toll road costing money because it wouldn't shut up about the 10 minutes I would save on my 3 hour trip.

road ahead preview button
I would like to have an on map button which, on hold or on press, will zoom out the map to show the entire route ahead.
Releasing or pressing again will go back to regular nav mode.
This is great for getting a sense of the route and not having to be constantly alert to input from the client (visual or auditory).

Show cost of travel (toll + fuel + maybe parking values).
When choosing a destination and between different paths, toll routes could have the cost of those tolls.

Waze/ Carplay crashes at toll booths in Spain and France
Had Mercedes C300 rental car 2025, driving through Basque country in NE Spain and SW France. Ever since time I passed through a toll booth carplay and waze would crash and it would take some playing around to restart. Does anyone else encounter this issue? Major safety issue getting the app and carplay restarted. I think there may be a frequency from toll booths that disrupts the wireless carplay

Current road conditions ( 511 integration)
The State of Minnesota has an app called 511 (website is https://511mn.org/ ) that gives users current road conditions. It would be nice to have those show up on the maps... Especially because I have a long commute and it would be super helpful to see if the roads are bad after a snow storm .
