Car Play Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze Turn By Turn Dirrections Appearing On Instrument Cluster
Please allow users to enable and disable turn-by-turn directions in the instrument cluster. I don’t want to see it on my instrument cluster when I already have it on my navigation screen. Turn-by-turn directions on the instrument cluster were only available before on Apple Maps, recently Google Maps added it without any mention in the app update notes and no option in the settings to turn it off. Heavy traffic duration display issue
I'm driving a Volvo XC40 with a Sensus operating system which famously displays Android Auto/Carplay on roughly half of it's 9" vertical screen. This means CarPlay has a width of 748 pixels, and this leads to a problem with how Waze displays how long I'm sitting in heavy/standstill traffic. Since I don't see any image upload option here, I'll use an image hosting service to point out the problem.

Can we have a better warning
It’s would also be good to have a much more visual warning of police speed traps, as it would reduce, my time looking at the CarPlay screen, and up at one of the many bridges, they hide on on the m3 in the UK.

Route list as secondary display
I like how on Apple Carplay the iPhone is used to display the route list. Can this be implemented with Android Auto? Also, is there a way to display the route list in Android Auto? This is a big feature that seems to be missing.

Support for dimensions and combinations such as caravans
I propose that Waze allows users to save multiple vehicles, each with their own dimensions, including height, width, and length. It should also be possible to add vehicle combinations, such as a car with a caravan or trailer, where the additional dimensions are automatically taken into account during route planning.
Users could then manually select the appropriate vehicle or combination before starting a trip, or Waze could automatically detect the vehicle via CarPlay or Android Auto.

Change to Android Auto UI
Can the blue gradient that takes up 1/3 of my car's infotainment screen be removed from the Android Auto Waze UI? It makes it difficult to see the road ahead as it fades out into blue and doesn't utilize my full car screen. Kind of like the CarPlay UI. You can see the road so much further ahead on it.
Also a setting to use night theme or day all the time would be welcome too.

pothole
The most common things I report are vehicles on side of road and potholes. Its frustrating the potholes is below the fold in the CarPlay screen, meaning that I have to scroll to get to it. It would be great if it was up higher. It would even be better if you had a setting where you could order the list how you wanted but that is a pipedream. I know it's possible as I build apps myself ;-)

Turn by turn on headup display (windshield)
Latest update 5.14.1.0 still does not enable turn by turn to show on the head up display (on winshield). There was a post that waze just needs to flip a switch. Google and apple maps already have it on. Error on Android auto
For a month now when using Waze on Android auto there is a black message box in the bottom down corner which is covering the speedometer.

Ios26 liquid glass makes eta panel illegible in light mode
Hello,
I am beta testing ios26 and it makes the ETA panel liquid glass in carplay in both light and dark mode. In light mode, this is a problem because white text on a glass panel over a white background becomes illegible. Please fix this if possible.1 vote -
Adding zooming capability
Hi I'm using in my car for waze navigation an android 10 device carplay UX999MAX. The device doesn't support multi-touch therefore I can't perform zooming out/in. It would be amazing if you add the the apps an icon +/- to enable such capability. Thanks Shamai

Distance
When CarPlay is in tiled mode (where it shows what song is playing and Waze only has half the screen) Waze shows me the ETA and the minutes remaining—distance remaining is left off due to the smaller screen real estate. Since I can derive time remaining from the ETA, how about showing distance remaining instead? So instead of:

speed display on map
My device is an apple iphone 17 useing carplay in a 2018 VOLVO XC60, something changed in the last month and now the waze menu is on the right hand side and covers the speed from GPS.
The Menu used to br on the left side with the settings on the lower rif
ght side and speed was always available. Hope you can rectify because the speed reading is very important to me

Waze Ideas
Make it to where Waze on CarPlay or even on mobile has cool holiday and season effects like snow or leaves falling during the fall, something to make it more enjoyable, or make it to where the map can turn to snow and there’s props throughout the map like snowmen, igloos or whatever.

In the UK the Best Radio app is RADIOPLAYER
Is it possible to Intigrate RADIOPLAYER app into Waze as it is by far the best app in the UK and you can add all your own radio stations without any problems and best of all it is totally FREE, It is also on Carplay but not on your app to add to screen

Car version
We propose that Waze introduce a native standalone version for modern vehicles running Android-based systems and HarmonyOS, optimized for large built-in displays and in-car connectivity, without relying on Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

CARPLAY - DARK NAVIGATION MODE WITH NO MAP, JUST POPUPS

this request comes rom a personal experience:
I have a car that does not allow turning off the carplay screen at night neither to regulate the backlight enough, this, specially when it is also foggy make driving more hard.My request is to provide a function where the map is totally black and only voice or "popups" are shown for navigation (with no navigation show popups only if requested for roadworks, speed traps, ....)

Re-attempt to connect to mobile/wifi signal after starting on offline map
When a car is parked in underground carpark with no mobile phone signal, Waze will use the offline map with no traffic information However it does not re-attempt to connect to mobile signal/wifi after a minute or two when the car is out in open air, and it continues the whole journal on offline map. Please enable a function to re-try connecting to phone signal via CarPlay
