Restart After Stop consistently direct me to turn the wrong way
For some reason, even though I was using waze and for instance, stopped at a gas station or other stop, when I turn waze back on and program my next destination, it consistently tells me to turn the wrong way (right when I need to go left, left when I need to go right, etc). Report a Hazard
Under a report of hazard there should be several options

local law icons (like "no-turn-on-red")
I travel a lot for work, and never know basic road rules where I'm at. So I always err on the side of caution. Things like "Can I turn right on a red?", better not.
It would be AWESOME if I could drop a very small little overlay with icons of my choosing for (optional overlay please, with checkboxes if I want this particular feature):
- Right-turn-on-red "green-yes / red-no / grey-unknown"
- Passing-on-right-allowed "<same colors>"

searching for gas stations, restaurants, or parking lots along my active route
Hi Waze Team, I’d like to propose a feature: when searching for gas stations, restaurants, or parking lots along my active route, Waze should first display the ones that are directly on my route and on the same side of the road I'm driving on, leaving the ones off-route for the end of the list. It would be much more practical. Always allow to use the options to report problems, even after arriving ;-)
Always allow to use the options to report problems like roadworks ect., even after arriving or interrupted trip. Why not? 🤷🏼♂️
My trick now is to start the navigation again to the same destination and hit the report botton who just came available again😄👍

Intermediate mileage help
When in a route that Waze mapped it would be nice to know the distance to next city although that is not the final destination.

"Open in Waze" - modify the Waze code so a user can click and hold on an address and be given the option to "Open in Waze" for navigation.
"Open in Waze" (or "Navigate to in Waze") would merely allow the user to click and hold on an address in their phone and be given the option to open the address within Waze itself.
A user currently can open an attachment in an email in numerous different downloadable programs. The same is true for address which currently default to the Maps app. It would be nice to see the same integration with Waze.

Real life photo
I'd like there to be an option to click on your destination and view an actual photo of the business or house that you're traveling to. I live in the city just some things are pretty close together and you could almost never see an address.

Search while connected to android auto
You have got to make it possible to voice search while driving. I use waze with my business and when I get a call I often have to change my destination or add a stop. I can't do that with waze without stopping. I legit added a manual power disconnect for my radio so I can turn my radio OFF which automatically disconnects android auto. Then I search in my phone, then I turn the radio back ON to get the new destination or stop in the waze app... Now how stupid and distracting is that? How is that safer?…

Report on the previous place
Hi there,
I would like to ask that how can I pin the previous place that I see got road block on the other side of the road? And because I'm driving, so I'm unable to report in the 1st place, and when I reach at the traffic light, I try to report the exact location, it's can't anymore. How?Thanks and regards

Option for more than 1 stop along my route
I find the option to add stops on my route convenient for when I'm going on a long drive where I need to stop at a few places along the way, but it only allows me to add one extra stop. Why can I only add one? I'd appreciate being able to add at least 3 or 4 stops in one trip so I don't need to start a new route after each destination along the way (I've had to do that before and it's way too complicated). Bug
set destination to point A added a stop to point B - off course.. waze navigated to the stop and then returned to the original course rather then the shortest route from the stop point to the destination.
e.g. from Herzlia to Rehovot, stop in Givataim. waze: road 2 south, road 5 east, road 5 south exit givataim, back to road 4 north, road 5 east, road 6 south - rehovot!!!

Possibility to get detailed information about alerts or hazards on the trip when starting
When starting the trip and setting the destination, Waze often shows traffic alerts or police presense alerts etc on on the horizontal line as small icons. But can not tap on those icons to see in forehand, what are those warnings about! How come? Those should be clicable to see more detailed information and perhaps a glimpse of the map where the issue is at.

Reminder about roll transponders
We share an EZ pass between two cars, and sometimes have forgotten to switch it to the car we will drive on a route that has tolls. When we input a destination that requires tolls, how about if Waze were to ask “Do you gave your toll transponder with you?” It would be awesome. I bet this feature would be helpful to many people. Thank you.

Call or text a friend before pickup
a feature that lets you mark contacts as friends you're picking up, maybe save their addresses.
and 5 minutes before reaching the destination to pick up the friend
Send an auto text saying something like "hey it's waze, name will pick up you up in 5 minutes, (s)he's driving a black toyota"
And by 2 minutes before, suggest to call that friend, or auto call to let him/her know that you're out, waiting.
All of this planned when starting off the navigation, and without touching the phone.2 votes -

Idea for a Senior's enhancement: After the system gets you to your destination, it reminds you why you wanted to go there in the first place.

Warn drivers that attempt changing the name of a place.
Recently I have seen (and rejected) many name changes on places where people attempt to change the name to one they would like to see as a shortcut name in their destinations.
Waze should warn them when they attempt to change the name of any place and provide an option to properly nickname a routing destination without changing the name everyone sees.
I usually send them a message via Chat when this happens and reject their changes, but it would be better if Waze did the warning .3 votes
