Please stop routing onto bike routes
I live in an area of the country with a lot of bike routes. Those routes are established on the assumption that they are low in auto traffic, or least generally local-only traffic. That seems to prompt Waze to guide me onto them fairly frequently during heavy traffic times, but in doing so this violates that basic assumption of keeping them low traffic.
As someone who bikes and drives regularly, I'd rather not see those routes grow in auto traffic as Waze adoption increases. If possible, please stop routing auto traffic onto those routes so that they can remain safe…

Parking Lots Should Complete Navigation to a linked Place
Many Parking Lots were created with the big push a few years ago but never had much use other than the ones flagged as Public for downtown type parking areas.
For restricted type parking lots that only serve a single place, once a user enters the parking lot for the place, navigation should complete.
A link would need to exist between the parking lot area and the place point/area.
This would create a usefulness to these parking lot areas that were created, as currently they simply are clutter on the map and serve generally no purpose.

Pouvoir passer à différents modes voiture, vélo, caravane ou encore piéton. Mon vieux Gps Mio le faisait... c'était pratique. Le mode taxi ne concerne qui dans l'état actuel ? Un mode caravane aiderait aussi bien les conducteurs avec une caravane ou les Camping-cars en permettant d'avoir des axes principaux, ce pour éviter la déconvenue de petites routes de campagne, pas toujours aisées pour circuler avec les attelages et je dirai même bien souvent un calvaire.

2 Ideas!
Hi, ive got two ideas: 1. When starting a new ride from a parking car, Waze does not know which direction the vehicle is facing. And because of Murphy's rules, most of the time it will plan the opposite route :) My suggestion is: before starting navigation I will have the option to calibarate the direction my vehicle facing (button that using the internal compass) . and now that Waze can understand that im facing east for example it can plan the right route. 2. adding an option so Waze know im driving a motorcycle so it can plane the…
22 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has Motorcycle Mode included in the app. To change your vehicle type, tap Settings > Car Details > Vehicle type.
As for the idea with adjusting car facing direction, it is under consideration.

PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN TO US
PLEASE take Springdale RD, Oakdale Rd and Lullwater Atlanta 30307 off of your app. You are suggesting these very residential streets as cut throughs for traffic. This is bringing in way more traffic than our streets can handle AND (I believe) creating a spike in crime.

CarPlay update
Waze is super useful in car over my cellphone (iPhone)
However, once plugged into my car with CarPlay, the experience is worst that ever. In fact, the CarPlay interface of the app does not support all functions offered in the mobile version such as :
1. Unable to signify a fixed radar photo
2. Unable to specify the police specification (visible, hide, opposite side)
3. Unable to launch a SOS and so on
In fact, the types of available notices is so small.In addition, you can’t find a gas station easily as in the app cause you don’t have…

Create School/Daycare with Home/Work Default Favorites
Every weekday I drive from home to child's school to work. Then reverse. Every weekday morning Waze asks me "Going to Work?" I'm going to school then work, so NO! Every weekday evening Waze asks me "Going Home?" I'm going to school, then home, so NO again! Everyday! Will you please, add another default favorite for school or daycare!!!

Accept all possible formats of GPS coordinates as destination
Let's do Waze more user friendly when entering GPS coordinates.
It would be nice if Waze would accept all possible formats of GPS coordinates (many www maps produce different formats of coordinates - usually with N/S, W/E letters - it is not user friendly always think how to transalte them into the only one current supported format...
I can imagine, that when using N/S, W/E letters even order of the longtitude and latitude can be switched, etc...21 votes -

Áreas de Risco, postos de combustível e estacionamento
Sugestão para:
1-Permitir marcarmos área de risco. Vez ou outra o waze manda entrar em Comunidades e ruas perigosas;
2-Na configuração disponibilizar "mostrar no
Mapa", postos de combustível e estacionamentos.Sobre área de risco, essa semana uma atriz da globo teve o carro baleado com percurso numa área perigosa.

Mejorar la seguridad en la vía
Para mejorar la seguridad de los conductores en la vía, especialmente en Colombia, se debería:
-Crear una notificación por voz que sugiera disminuir la velocidad por la existencia de baches peligrosos en la vía.
- Permitir a los usuarios "pintar" los baches en la vía con un color que les permita a otros usuarios darse cuenta de la posición exacta de los mismos. De igual manera, se les permita "borrar" los baches que vayan siendo reparados.
- Permitir la descarga previa de la ruta con notificaciones sobre baches para evitar accidentes por pérdida de conectividad.20 votes -

il faudrait pouvoir signaler un problème dans les 2 sens en même temps.
Quand on signale un problème tel que contrôle de police par exemple,
Il n'y a la possibilité de le signaler que dans "mon sens" ou "sens inverse".
Or il arrive quelque fois que le contrôle se fasse dans les 2 sens. Il est alors impossibe de signaler les 2!Je suggère de rajouter un 3ème choix "dans les 2 sens".

Camping car
Bonjour, je suis français comme beaucoup d’autres. Nous voyageons en camping-car avec l’application Waze serait-il possible de mettre une application spécial Camping-car sur Waze déjà mettre le type de véhicule on ne peut pas et voir si on peut régler la hauteur et la largeur et longueur du véhicule. Ça serait vraiment bien comme dans tous les autres GPS car vous ne le faites pas chez Waze, ça serait vraiment bien d’avoir un truc ou quelque chose spécifique pour les Camping-car car en France nous sommes 1 800 000 Camping Cariste et on se sert tous beaucoup de Waze

Use Yards instead of Feet
Please use yards instead of feet (at least for UK drivers). In UK miles/Yards/km is used, not feet for distance measuring. It's much easier to estimate when to action when the short distance is given in Yards. Or at least let the user's choose Miles/Yards in the settings. Thanks
