  2. Make alternative routes tappable directly on the map like GMaps.

    Hoping for tappable alternative routes on the map, which also shows time difference from the suggested route. This was a feature I liked a lot in GMaps.

  3. Make changes to the suggested route by touching the route I want on the map.

    Sometimes I want to make a specific change to the route by touching the map. For example; if I touch and hold a place on the map to signal that I want to go via this road instead of the suggested road, but still remain within the general route chosen.

  5. Road Condition Rating/Grades

    Showing potholes is a great feature especially in snowy climate. It would also be great to rate the road and conditions. Such as a block feature or an avoidance feature. I traveled 20mph on a road label 50mph due to how terrible the conditions was, it felt like I hit a speed bump every 40 yards. I would label this road a "D", if I could avoid these roads like a less than "C" feature, that would be awesome. User ratings paired with GPS acceleration compared to the speed limit could really help avoid these disastrous neglected road and pick…

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

  7. max parking height

    At work we can choose between a VW Caddy (height 1,89m) and a BMW 316 (lower :P ).
    Today only the BMW was available, so we took that one.
    At Brussels I drove into a parking, close to our destination thanks to waze.
    The parking is very low, the max. height is 1,75m. Luckily we were there with the bmw and not the Caddy.
    It would be a nice feature if the max. height would be announced of parking space.

  9. Add route style 'safe and simple' & 'eco-drive'

    Selecting 'safe and simple' route will navigate you with safe wide roads without to many small cuves and turns. It might nog be the fastest of shortest but will avoid danger. Selecting 'eco-drive' caculates the most environmental friendly route and minimizes fuel consumption and pollution, just add you car and engine type in the settings menu and Waze will calculate your eco-ride.

  12. New Report- temporary traffic lights

    Hello Waze,
    A lot of roadworks in London are controlled by Temporary Traffic Lights
    Which can be 2-Way (50% green)
    Also can be 3-Way (33% green)
    And can be 4-Way (25% green)
    Therefore I suggest :

    Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 2Way

    Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 3Way

    Hazard ->On the Road -> Temp T/L -> 4Way

    "Turn left before I turn my foot right in your ass"
    "You made the wrong turn dumbass, are you on dope?"

    ANY classic Red Forman quotes would be fantastic!

  15. Public Bathroom Button

    Have a button that when pushed routes drivers to the nearest public bathroom and then returns to route once done with the bathroom. I've seen other suggestions that are related, but I think it needs to be something really simple because the bathroom issue usually comes up when someone says "we need to stop NOW" and it's never at a convenient time!

  16. Time Zones for Planning a Drive

    You would think that when you plan a drive and you have to enter the arrival time of your choice that it would take into account different time zones. So if I want to arrive to my destination at 5:45 PM, clearly I mean that time zone. Waze keeps it in the same time zone and unless you are paying super close attention, it’s easy to miss and then you lose an hour because you leave too late if you are going from Central to Eastern and so on and so forth.   17. Tell us WHY Waze can't find a route

    Today I was in Virginia and starting a drive to Northampton, MA. Waze told me that it couldn't find a route. In fact, it couldn't find a route to Boston, or New Haven, or anywhere else north of NY, NY. (It can find a route to NY, NY). I'd like to know why. I tried multiple phones.

    When things like this happens, Waze should say WHY it can't find a route.

  19. New instructions for crossroad junctions/interchange

    In the UK, there has been an ongoing debate on the most effective way to map crossroad junctions where drivers have to cross a main road without priority, as shown in this image:

    The default instructions do not include guidance for routes that go straight, leading to URs for missing instructions even when no turns are required. As there's no instruction, the driver may not realise they have to give way/stop, leading to a potential accident.
