  1. Award points for stopping at or using advertisers.

    Maybe 10 to 20 points for buying gas or eating a burger at an advertisers location. Could be tied to a code you have to enter for the points which you get when you use the location. Might be a big plus for advertisers ie feedback on advertising dollars spent.

  2. Adding Roadside Animal detection system to Waze as a feature will help reduce animal roadkill problem.

    Roadside Animal Detection (RADAR) systems – A computerized signs with flashing light stripped when an animal breaks a light beam . These can reduce collisions with large animals. These alerts and captured images can also be sent to different GPS apps like Waze, so that drivers coming by on that road can be alerted through their GPS apps and slow down when crossing that area.

  5. Ahorro de energía

    Su aplicación gasta bastante energía de la batería del móvil, supongo que la razón principal es porque va la pantalla activada todo el rato, por eso creo que sería útil que pusieran un modo de ahorro de energía en el que la pantalla sólo se activara cuando hubiera algún aviso que mostrar o alguna desviación del camino, es decir, en un viaje de 4 horas por carretera, tal vez puedas estar una hora sin ningún tipo de aviso ni desviación de tu camino, por lo que todo ese rato la pantalla estaría apagada y no consumiría tanta batería.

  7. Parking signs

    As a resident of LA ive noticed when I park somewhere im always stressed about making sure i find the parking signs denoting street cleaning and any no parking times. I think its be awesome if users could take pictures of parking signs that pop up when someone is parking to be like HEY LOOK AT THIS SIGN BEFORE YOU GET OUT OF YOUR CAR AND FORGET TO LOOK AND GET A TICKET OR TOWED. Am i mark Zuckerberg now?

  10. Aquaplanning risks

    I would like to suggest introducing “Aquaplaning risk” as a climate alert. It should be useful during raining days to another driving wazers driving in Portugal (I'm portuguese) and of course all over the world.

  11. Sleep alert

    Dimming screen at not noticeable rate over an period and turn to maximum screen brightness. Create a shock to user, remind user to stay awake.

    Or simply voice alert to remind sleepy driver.

    And make it an option to turn the feature off.

  14. Nova mensagem ao usuário

    Todos os dias milhares de fotos são adicionadas aos locais para melhor localização do usuário, porém da mesma forma que são adicionados novas fotos de qualidade, também são adicionadas fotos fora dos padrões.
    Acho que seria interessante quando o usuário for tirar uma foto do local aparecer uma mensagem com o padrão da foto para ser aceita no Local pelo waze.

    What is the possibility that the same technology used by Waze could be used to measure voter wait times? Obviously not within this specific app, but is it conceivable? We need help.

    Don't know where to report livemap bugs, so here it goes: you have a missing translation in your (Rails?) server :)

  19. Fix your commercial, sense of credibility

    Your commercial is a view as to how you perceive accuracy and credibility. First, the little boy got out of the car into the road. Second, the phone on the front glass, major distraction when an alert goes off, even though you have her looking pulled over. Third, the lady returning to her vehicle with a loaded bag, indicating she was in the store for a bit, only to get in her car that had the window down, and from what I could see, her phone on the holder.
