Drive around for "" minutes when arriving at a destination where parking is scarce
It would be great to have a option when arriving at a destination "go around for 10 minutes". This will enable the driver to quickly drop the passenger and drive around the place guided by waze and bring back to the destination in about 10 minutes. Saves the driver finding a parking place and also saves the driver parking charge especially in city centres which is dearer.

Adding new Report Icons for dealing with "Nanny State" Issues...
Hi,
I have been running a community petition on change.org about requesting local governments for more leniency on some of the more "Nanny State" issues we encounter here in Australia. Such as dogs off leash in parks when the parks are empty or outside hours...
As part of this initiative, the community has now decided that we would also go with an additional new plan B, which is to find out the feasibility of having new Report Icons added to Waze so we can handle those issues please ?

Vehicle "attaches" to road
I have noticed that the vehicle icon "attaches" to the road on the map. There are a couple of issues with this. When I am in an unmapped area, such as in a parking lot, the vehicle tends to jump back and forth between its actual location and the nearest road. Also, the exit I take on my morning commute has not updated yet, so WAZE tells me to take the exit prior to it. right click on map and allow "add to saved places"
I visit many hospitals, there are good parking spots that I can identify on the map. I would like to ... add a pin, rename the pin and add it to my saved places.

Move search bar
Move the search bar you shouldn't be using it unless your parked in the first place. Then the speedometer and warning button fall behind it and it's a pain ********** getting them up when you should be focused on driving

Reliability
I have found that Waze is the most unstable of the three major navigation platforms, which include Apple and Google Maps. It routinely has trouble figuring out where one is starting from which causes the map to freeze while the navigation continues. It also consistently either stops working (loses the route, or begins to submit random, rapidfire directions which are all incorrect). This seems to mostly happen in urban settings. While trying to get our dog to cancer treatment in Boston, your navigator went off the rails, forcing me to pull over in traffic and go to another option to…

Don't Record Client Tracks within Origin/Dest Zone
As a new wazer and getting into editing I noticed several "map problems" and new roads caused by entering/exiting parking lot or building structures.
Current work around is to add Parking POIs or add the parking lot roads as road type parking.
I believe this could be alleviated by simply not having Waze client record or "count" the GPS track within a set distance from Origin (time device first plugged in or new navigation started) and Destination (device turned off or navigation stopped)
I would recommend a distance of about 100 yards.

Mojio OBD cellular GPS
There is a new device called Mojio www.moj.io on the market. It's an obd reader with a GPS and a cellular module. They have an SKD and API and I think it could be cool to include this in waze. Few things it could do with waze.
For trip that you forget to open waze it could automaticly use the mojio gps and this way get trafic information for others.
You could always know where your car is parked in waze.
Waze could notify you after a trip if you forget to lock doors.

option to disable the theme suggestions like Boy George, cats and dogs. Even when “no thanks” selected those themes keep coming back. Not everyone uses voice and want these options. Please make the option to disable those kinds of suggestions.

Waze Airport Map
Produce Waze Maps for airports denoting whole airport & parking, hotels, even EVchargers etc for Public use.
Compete, bid for Airport complexMaps.
No one else does.
Use HDTV for Visual Map fixed display with U ARE HERE logo.
Map can have audio speakers & speak say 10 languages??
For airports like SFO, LAX in CA alone.
EZ to read, relate, usable, updatable IE airport construction.

Airport interactive app
Love your map. And Im great at telling other people what to do. Most people panic about how early to get to an airport. What about an interactive app for people to report how busy the airport is. Each terminal, each airline. Lines long or short? Long term parking at x is wide open. Come in from thw east cuz west is backed up. I know you get the idea. Do me a favor and start with Sky Harbor. Lol

Show small roads in rural areas
The Waze client, and also the "live map" on the web site, hides smaller roads as you zoom out. This is fine in cities where there are many roads. However, in rural areas, the small roads are simetimes the only roads, and if they are hidden then the map can appear completely blank.

Find a way to avoid spurious hazard reporting of cars stopped on the shoulder when parked safely and posing no risk to drivers
It seems I'm many times a week on freeway journeys seeing situations where a hazard alert will come up for a car stopped when the car in question is safely parked (usually with no occupant outside or in proximity) 4-5m away from the road itself presenting zero actual hazard to road users whatsoever. It often gives a 'for the sake it' type of feel (as if reported someone's kid is in the passenger seat bored). Optional "Why this destination" so user can add brief voice note that plays when arriving
This should by for optional use and provide the user the option to voice record a brief 30 sec to 1 minute message for why they are traveling to a destination. Registration plate recognition and automatic tagging of police vehicles
Due to the proliferation of unmarked police cars and unmarked mobile speed cameras (parked cars) with no warning signs, it is now necessary to take it one step further and use the video feed from dash cams (both front and rear) and character recognition to automatically tag a police vehicle by its registration plate (after that registration plate has been manually tagged). If we can set a waypoint at this point the device will automatically dial the number we set the option for that spot and given a solution for those who want to open a parking gate, Gate City or notify a friend who we got without leaving waze

Would like carpool system for non-commute activities
We need a way to connect people in carpools who are going to the same hike or outing, or perhaps a concert or performance. Different from a commute carpool in that each occasion is unique.
People in outdoor organizations care about their carbon footprint, yet unless they are actual friends with someone they usually don’t have a way to arrange rides or carpooling.
It would be great to be able to have each club sponsor/pay for Waze and enable all their members planning to go on a specific outing to connect with each other to arrange to carpool.
