  1. Bad directions in Iowa

Used Waze to travel to the Paramount Theater in Cedar Rapids Iowa. The directions were NOT SUFFICIENT. We drove around looking for the venue for about 15 minutes before we gave up on Waze and just parked the vehicle and walked. I know this is not the correct place to report this problem, but the reporting methods suggested in "Fix a Map Issue" were not working. I guess I'm just too retarded to use Waze.

  2. Problem with newest update

    Hello.
I would like to give some feedback regarding latest Android auto update:
New ui is worse than old one. First way old speedometer worked was better (it was smaller and it only showed speed limit when going above the limit (and showed points around the circle as you approached speed limit). That was much better than current one.
Second thing is that new Drive now feature and other text messages on app are too big and take up too much screen from the map.
Also, forcing dark mode for messages is not a great ux choice since it can…

  3. Allow manual location selection on map for reports

allow users to manually select a road or location to make reports. currently, reports can only be made based on GPS location. but sometimes as drivers we are unable to report hazards or road blockage while driving and can only do so after we’re parked. by adding this feature, we can increase safety of road users as well as drivers who wish to make a report without doing so while driving

  4. Keep Navigation Active After Arrival

I would like to suggest a feature that allows users to keep navigation active even after reaching the destination. In many situations, especially when it is difficult to find parking, drivers need to circle the surrounding area. When Waze automatically ends navigation upon arrival, it becomes harder to maintain orientation and understand nearby traffic conditions. Allowing navigation to remain active until the user chooses to stop it would provide better spatial awareness, improve safety, and offer a more flexible experience in real-world scenarios.

  5. ♿ Disabled Driver option

At the moment, there is nothing in Waze to help Disabled drivers when it comes to roads that are restricted to disabled drivers, car parks for disabled people, or tolls that are have different charges for disabled drivers. This causes wrong information such as toll costs and wrong directions to be returned. There is only limited POI information (wheelchair accessible) which only displays as text when you select a POI rather than be searchable and selectable.

    Hello Waze team,

I faced an issue recently while using the app in Najaf, Iraq. I was very close to my destination (car showrooms), but the app gave me a long and unnecessary route, even though I was already facing the right direction and there was no traffic. My car was parked on the side of the road.

I suggest adding a "Walking Mode" for short distances, so users can reach nearby destinations more efficiently without being redirected through long driving routes.

Thank you for your great work!

    Best regards,
    [Ahmedradeef]

  7. a New Yellow Vest Pin for France

    Hello Waze;)
I'm sorry to write to you on Saturday.
Today, truckers are starting to block borders and, in general, we do not know where they are parked, to go and support them.
You can make available yellow vests, a new logo additional, yellow vest, for use by truckers.
If a truck driver wishes to extend his stop on a parking lot, for example, he could then put a yellow vest tag at the place where he is parked and yellow vests could support him in his stop, without the employer of this driver can revoke his…

  8. Feature Proposal: Waze Order-Ahead Integration

"Syncing the Drive with the Kitchen"
    1. The Problem Currently, users must juggle two separate tasks when picking up food: navigating through traffic and timing their order. If the user orders too early, the food gets cold.If they order too late (or wait until they arrive), they end up idling in parking lots or double-parking, causing traffic congestion—the very thing Waze aims to solve.
    2. The Solution: "Waze Pick-Up"A seamless integration within the Waze app that allows users to place a "Quick-Order" for takeaway when they set their destination to a supported restaurant or coffee shop. How it works:Smart…

  10. Expand "arrival boundaries"

If you're at or within 100 feet/30 meters of a destination, consider navigation complete and stop routing. Many times Waze will remain active, showing I am 100 feet or less from a destination, and will frantically re-route (or at least attempt to). In my experience from Waze, this is most common in shopping centers or business campuses/parks, though it happens sometimes at single building destinations, such as a standalone restaurant or even at my home. Waze shouldn't feel a need to provide door-to-door directions.

  11. Stop prompting users to confirm that a 'stopped car' for instance is still there. This is a safety hazard while driving

Stop prompting users to confirm a road hazard (parked car side of the road for example, not exactly critical or urgent to any users - this is done for Waze' interests, in order to collect data at your clients expense)

I drive by myself. Interacting with the console touch screen to remove the obstruction is a safety hazard. As is the obstruction itself in the GUI. Ongoing source of frustration for years (a decade? Longtime user)

You tell users to be safe, not interact while driving. But your system forces users to interact while driving. This needs attention…

  12. Terrible GUI

Worse and worse GUI. Do you realize it is a car navigation? Did any of your programmers ever drive a car?
Smaller and smaller buttons or even worse - swipes!
Nothing on first click. Hidden in submenus - swipe, click and maybe it is there.
Switching between itinerary and map when searching for alternative routes? The buttons aren’t small. They are tiny! Hard to be used when the car is parked, with reading glasses, fully focused on phone.

First versions were made by drivers for drivers. Report issues in opposite direction-removed. Now it is moving to google style swipe…

  13. Highway exits details

On my current MB the navi is showing list of next 3 exits on the highway with all the most needed details, for example next exit is 3 km away and its exit to city/another road, another exit is 8 km away , which is a petrol station with restaurant , 3rd exit is 19 km away and it’s just a parking with toilet. … in case I am low on fuel or somebody from crew need urgent *** rest , really easy to find out where to stop , once the closest exit is passed, it loads another…

  14. Absolute garbage app

This POS gave me wrong directions for a doctor's appt out of town. I was late for the appointment because it gave me WRONG directions, and yes I triple checked to make sure I had the correct address entered. Now I'm going to be charged a no show fee because this ****** app told me the wrong place to go. Once I used Google Maps to get the right directions, I tried Waze again and it was directing me BACK TO THE WRONG ADDRESS, while I was sitting in the parking lot of the CORRECT address. I deleted this…

  15. Slight modification to American English voice prompts when navigating from unnamed roads to named roads.

When transitioning from a network of unnamed roads to a named road, waze will say (American English), "Turn left at Pearl St, then turn right at Pearl St" (example encountered when navigating from the Whole Foods parking lot on Pearl St to 1620 Pearl St in Boulder, CO). These transitions frequently aren't signed, though I understand this makes sense for on-ramps. However, it would make more sense and be consistent in both situations to change the article from "at" to "toward." You'd then hear, "Turn left toward Pearl St, then turn right at Pearl St." "To" would also work…

  16. Shortcut for reporting hazards, when not in app.

    Feature request for non drivers:
a homescreen shortcut (or floating bubble) for adding road hazards, for non drivers. Currently, the phone auto closes the app after inactivity.
The time it takes to reopen the app and navigate to the 'add hazard' panel means there is a delay in posting information, causing the location of the info to be incorrect. Sometimes even dozens of meters later.
If I had some floating window, homescreen shortcut or gesture shortcut directly to report a hazard, it will appear more correct.
I do this during long drives (not a driver), to make roads safer, since…

  17. waze improvements

Hi, I would like to suggest some improvements.
    1. once the address has been entered, the navigator should immediately start without selecting <via> + <partenza> so as not to waste time (in case you need to add buttons to the side to be pressed within 2 seconds).
    2. I don't understand if the favorites are in order of insertion, distance but they should be in alphabetical order or with the possibility of user choice
    3. report speed cameras, patrols and dangers with a strong audio signal even if the speed limits are not exceeded
    4. do not interrupt the journey…

  18. Simple things that make drives easier

I’ve found that a few small habits really change how smooth a trip feels. I usually give myself a little extra time before heading out, especially on weekends, and it makes a big difference. I also try to check any planned stops ahead of time instead of scrambling to add them while I’m on the road.

Another thing I rely on is the user reports in Waze. They’re often more helpful than just waiting for the app to reroute. And honestly, if I’m heading somewhere new or don’t want the stress, I’ll just book a ride. When I went to…

  19. Travel Guide AI

Hello I was wondering if you can add a travel feature that users can toggle on for an Ai Tour guide assistant providing encyclopedia knowledge and interesting facts about places that you drive by. This idea came to me when using Waze in a road trip this week. I saw places on the side of the road that I wish I could know more about. I found myself asking Siri but Siri is limited as it needs to search the web for details and will wait until the care is in a parked position. My idea would allow the…

  20. Lowered Cars

The concept is a Low-Clearance Vehicle Mode that would:
    • Detect and report hazards such as potholes, bumps, debris, and flooding in real time.
    • Allow users to submit hazard reports as they encounter them, similar to Waze’s current system for reporting police, accidents, or traffic jams.
    • Provide alternative routes to avoid potential damage to vehicles, especially on streets, bridges, or parking areas with low clearance.
    • Integrate crowd-sourced data to keep the map continuously updated for low-clearance vehicle drivers.

This feature could enhance Waze’s reputation as the most comprehensive navigation app while addressing a currently underserved market…
