Interesting idea about the intelligentization of speed limiter registration
hello
good time
For the speed limiter, I suggested that it be registered as artificial intelligenceThe idea is that you can in any country between 3 and 4 in the morning
There is no more traffic during quiet hours
So stopping drivers is definitely a speed bump
So it can be the average
Choose from the number of stops made by average drivers to record the speed limiter

Accurate speed
When using Apple Car Play, my speed is continuously 12+mph over what I am actually doing. I can use the app on my phone just fine it’s accurate within + or - 2mph. I am confused as to why my truck displays such a difference. Brand new truck, brand new iPhone. All updates to apps and devices as required.

Option to limit route at max 50 mph (spare tire)
Last week I got a flat tire. After changing it with a spare one, I went back on my way. But my speed was limited to 50 mph/80kmh due to that flat tire.
Waze suggested a route with higher speed limit which is dangerous when you are limited due to a spare tire.
There should have an option to select routes with « limit to routes with max 50 mph ». Similar to the one to avoid toll roads

speedlimit notification based on MPH over limit
Currently notification is based on percentage over the posted limit. In the USA ticketing is typically based on MPH over the limit. example 2-10MPH over is 2 points, 10-15MPH over is 3 points, etc...
Ability to set the notification threashold based on how many MPH you are over the posted limit would be a great option.

Speedometer size and location
On my 9 inch car android, speedometer is barely visible.
1. The size should be adjustable.
2. The colors should be adjustable.
3. The position should be moveable.
4. Beeping sound and duration should be customizable.
5. Speed limit should blink after certain speed limit45 votes -

My idea to improve the APP is as follows;
When the driver goes on a carriageway where the speed limit is 50 and after about 150 meters it becomes 30, he should be warned by voice as when approaching a speed camera. In other words, the driver does not need to take his eyes off the road.1 vote -
Prevent speed camera warning from coming up after dismissing notification {x} number of times.
If you use Waze for your daily commute, you pass the same speed cameras and traffic lights every day. I would suggest that if you dismiss the speed camera or traffic light warning popup {x} number of times (where {x} is a preset default, or user configurable) then Waze knows you know there is a speed camera there and will prevent the popup. Too many popups mean you naturally learn to ignore them.

1) Update speed limit with smart motorways
1) update smart motorway speeds more frequently as most the time it’s not up to date.
2) make it easier to see which route is the most economical and which is the fastest. Sometimes I wanna drive economically but it’s harder to see which route is lowest miles.1 vote -
Can we get a known speed trap alert
Some areas are just known for speed traps. Maybe some kind of algorithm that logs how many drivers ping certain areas for speed traps for a period of time before its considered a "Known speed trap". This alert can be optional in carplay etc.

Don't limit the number of reports that can be submitted, limit the points given instead. Better to have more current info avail for drivers.
Today I exceeded my limit for the number of reports I could submit. I was not aware there was a limit, but this happened just as I was trying to report an accident on the freeway. I am on the roads early each morning and would think the more info submitted for the rush hour the better. Instead of limiting how many reports can be submitted, if abuse is a concern, why not just limit the points that can be earned from submitting points within a certain amount of time. I was very disappointed that I was not…

Direction Indicators for Speed Cameras
Add a small directional arrow or some kind of indicator next to each speed camera symbol on the map, indicating which direction that camera is monitoring. No indicator if the speed camera monitors both sides, which is rare but still exists.

Add contrast to the arrow in average speed bar
When displaying the average speed check bar on the left side of the screen, it would help to make your own location on the bar easier to see.
At present the arrow on the bar is light blue, a brighter colour arrow would made your location in the average speed check area easier to see in bright conditions.2 votes -
Re-enable Other Side Police Reporting
Otherside Police Reporting- This was probably one of the best features of the App- other than the same side regular police notification. It gives a warning for less traveled roads that may have a Waze user traveling in the other direction on a less traveled road whereas a same way traveler has not yet passed and left an Alert. PLEASE BRING THAT FEATURE BACK ASAP!

When showing "Routes" options, show "average speed" per option.
When showing "Routes" options, in addition to "time" and "distance", show "average speed" per option. A user may want to choose an option whereby he/she is moving at a greater average speed, even if it means extending the duration of the trip, especially if the added duration is insignificant. For example, a user may prefer to travel 60 km in 1 hour than 40 km in 55 minutes because instead of siting in traffic the user is moving at a greater speed.

Allow Social Network Reporting of Speedlimits to improve accuracy of speedlimit database
If you allow the user base to report speed limits it would be more accurate than having a static database of speed limits. Also there should be an option for "Variable Speed Limit" for places where the speed limit changes depending on traffic (for example, I-90 and I-5 in Seattle, WA have variable speed limits that range from 30 to 60 mph). There should also be a temporary construction speed limit option in areas where there is construction--you can pop up a verification screen so users to confirm whether the construction speed limit still applies once…

Add Average Speed Display Next to Remaining Distance in Speed Camera Zones
I have a feature suggestion that could greatly enhance driver awareness and safety:
Please display the current average speed next to the remaining distance when driving in zones monitored by average speed cameras. Why this matters:
It helps drivers maintain the right pace throughout the entire zone. Reduces last-minute braking near the end of the zone. Makes the driving experience less stressful and more controlled.Other navigation apps are beginning to include similar features, and I believe Waze can do it even better.
If you find this helpful, please upvote so we can get this on Waze’s radar! 🙌
Thank…

Please consider adding SPEED LIMITs. It would set you apart... again!!! It would make great press coverage too!
Speed limits would make this a number #1 application and set Waze apart. The other apps have caught up to standard Waze.
3 votesGreat thinking! The issue you raised has been addressed in a recent redesign. Hope you like it!
