Would be important to put in the size of the car, there is roads proposed that can not be done with a transporter

Automatic Alternative Routes
Give automatic alternative routes. I like Waze but I use Google maps because of the automatic alternative routes choices. Google maps can also calculate a route if I make a wrong turn. I am in my car as part of my job and I need this option for traffic jams, accidents, etc.

Vote here to keep the Ghostbusters theme. Having Ecto1 as a car option with Ray's (Dan Aykroyd) voice is an amazing driving experience we all have enjoyed. One of the reasons many users even switched to Waze was just for this option. Let make it permanent for the true fans and all others to enjoy!

Enhance Waze on CarPlay’s Instrument Display
Thank you for adding Waze to the instrument cluster on CarPlay - it’s a huge improvement! However, the current implementation could be refined for better usability.
• The resolution is too low, making the map appear overly zoomed in with limited visibility of the road ahead.
• Key details, such as potholes and hazards, are missing.
• A higher-resolution option with a more zoomed-out view would greatly improve navigation.
• Adding a 3D perspective or allowing users to customise the zoom level would make it even more useful.Having Waze on the cluster display is fantastic for quick glances, but…

Add option to select car pool when navigating
Lets popup "carpool?" button after choosing destination in carpool times. This will help to get corresponding exits and more precise calculations. Sometimes traffic stopped while carpool is open and I dont want to get average estimation and alternative route. Thanks!

A voice for parents that reminds them to take the kid out
Every year we have several cases of kids who are forgotten in the car. Add a voice that is just like the normal one, only after saying "you have arrived" it reminds you to make sure no one is left in the car.

Driving directions on virtual cockpit
Hey Wazers, I have found out, that when you use Apple Maps app through CarPlay, it is able to transfer information about next driving direction (for example "in 100m turn right" and an arrow) to the control unit of my car and it then shows it to me on my virtual cockpit. Since anothe iOS app can do this, I hope others should be able to, arent they? It will be really good to implement this...

Street name covering nav line
When I plug my iPhone 11 into the car play in my car and use the app, it can be frustrating that when I come to a turning, the street name often covers the route (the blue line) so I can't see the turning easily. I suggest fixing it so the street names never sit over the blue navigation line. Thanks.

Hazard link fix
The car on roadway report link was removed. While being on the shoulder is probably the most seen report for cars stopped, a car stopped in the middle of the road is also a serious hazard. I think this link should be added back.

Show Congestion/ULEZ zone and tell Waze what car you have
It would be super useful to have the ULEZ/Congestion Charge zones both highlighted in the Waze map. It would be amazing if you could actually make them both different coloured areas with different coloured roads too!
Secondly it would be amazing to be able to tell Waze what car you’re driving and Waze could take that into consideration when planning your route. Several times I’ve been rerouted towards the Rotherhite tunnel which is a 2tonne limit and my car is just over two tonnes so I’d get a fine.5 votes -

More options on Android auto
Hi there,
Why waze has limited options when using throw Android auto?
When you press the location icon it doesn't give all the options as when I am using it directly from the phone(options such as road ahead close) Why is that?
All new cars have got android auto, I think I should be able to access all options of waze throw Android auto, but that is not the case.

Enable speed and associated icons to be placed on the left or the right side of the navigation screen at drivers discretion
Currently speed icons only display on right side of navigation screen. I drive a right hand drive car and speed icons are obscured by steering wheel and indicator stalks. It would be nice to have option to display the icons on the left or the right side of navigation screen at driver's discretion to facilitate clearer display depending on car navigation screen installed position.

police notification 1 mile ahead rather then 0.5 miles
It would be nice to have a little further warning that a police car is ahead in some instances a half a mile they can clock your speed.

Make Waze AUTO sleep after 5 sec when Power is UNpluged while in the App
Make a setting to make Waze AUTO sleep after 5 sec(or X sec, normal Waze countdown style Ok/Cancel box) when Power is UNpluged while in the app. This could be further improved with a "only within 5 mins of reaching a destination" setting.
I think everyone that have Waze in the car has the phone on acc power and it would be so nice not to have to remember to Sleep Waze EVERY time I get to my destination.

Matters with or without automatic payment machines on highways
I think it would be good if cars could be equipped with or without an automatic payment system for expressways.

Tasker intergration
Tasker is a automation system for Android based on profiles that contains states and actions.
For instance when Tasker sees the bluetooth in my car it begins to reject most calls, reads texts aloud me, and sends a automated reply. Currently that reply just says I will get back to them when I reach my destination. Waze knows that destination and my ETA. I would like to send that in the automated texts. I would also like for Tasker to be able to tell Waze a destination. Using this info it would also be possible for Tasker to do events…

Add route style 'safe and simple' & 'eco-drive'
Selecting 'safe and simple' route will navigate you with safe wide roads without to many small cuves and turns. It might nog be the fastest of shortest but will avoid danger. Selecting 'eco-drive' caculates the most environmental friendly route and minimizes fuel consumption and pollution, just add you car and engine type in the settings menu and Waze will calculate your eco-ride.

Mark bad quality road
There are so many roads witch are paved, but the quality is so awful, its more like driving on dirt road or trail. Would be great to mark bad quality roads so I could avoid driving there and save my car instead of braking it driving trough. Of course there should be an option to avoid bad quality roads also in the Waze app. I hope to see this feature in soon future. Best regards

have a "slow vehicle" type with a CUSTOM TOP SPEED
I drive antique vehicles which are often slow but i don't mind driving on highways so dont want to check "avoid freeways", i would just like that the navigtion algorythm takes my top speed (50mph for one car 65 for the other one) into account when calculating the route.
this could be set in the "type of vehicles" menu, select "special" and have a customizable "top speed".
then, even on a 80mph road, waze would only consider i'll make 50 and maybe reroute me on a shorter path !
