Option to disable new message pop-ups while driving
You guys have designed this lovely pop-up to be intrusive and distracting. Some users might love getting pop-ups while driving through roundabouts and complex junctions, some users (surprisingly) will not like it.
Please give us the option to disable this pop-up.

Don't send nasty letters to users if they drive from CO > FL
Received a nasty letter, one day after I returned home. Driving from Colorado to Florida and back.
WAZE also does not work for more than 1000 miles, I think that should be rectified1 voteThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Be able to block users from adding me as a friend
I have a stalker x-girlfriend, who continually pops up as a "friend" request, despite multiple police cases. Having the ability to block additional requests would make the application safer.

When you're stuck in traffic, detect which of your friends are also in a jam and suggest calling them to pass the time.

Suggested driving speed based on traffic
Based on current driving conditions, the app would let you know how fast you should be going to keep traffic moving (i.e., if it was heavy traffic the app would recommend a speed of 10mph vs. moderate traffic with a recommended speed of 35mph). The feature would also suggest a lane you should be driving in, based on GPS speed, so drivers who prefer to go at a modest highway speed are in the middle or right lanes.

Midpoint
It’s called midpoint. You put in your starting location and the other persons starting location. You then search for a place you wanna meet up, and it calculates where the middle ground is (you can also make it someone drives more than another if you want). Put in the time you wanna meet up, it tells you when to go. When you start the drive, you can alert the other person you are on the way, and the other person can respond w the same. Give option to hide fuel station, when I'm driving EV and show EV chargers instead. It's frustrating, to not be able to turn off fuel station from map, even if I marked my car as EV.

Logging Options on Waze (distance, driving time, gas costs)
It would be great that Waze could log some data about your trip.
So you could include a kind of dashboard that could display your speed, average speed, distance driven, a kind of trip distance resetable by user, as well a fuel logging calculator.
The fuel logging calculator should enable you to register the price spent and the ammount of fuel you've filled. This would be great for drivers to make some stats in order to reduce costs.27 votes -
Leave time on Home Screen
Whenever you plan a drive, always display the time to leave for the next planned drive(s) on the landing screen of waze. This already exists but the frequency of it being displayed on the Home Screen of the app seems random. Please consider having the leave time at a glance on the home screen whenever a drive is planned or allowing the user to toggle the box for always on, recommended on, or off. Thanks!

Make it possible to set what street(s) to avoid
In Sweden, there are cities where you are not allowed to drive a car with studded winter tires on certain streets. It will be good to have the possibility to set it up in navigation settings to avoid these streets.

Rank routes by least number of minutes in traffic
For a long drive, calculate "% of time spent in traffic" and "# of minutes spent in traffic" and include that as a criteria.
We just stared at 3 different routes for a 4+ hour drive that had varying lengths and amount of time in stop & go traffic. We would have liked to have selected easily "the one that makes the car move the most and has the least stop & go, so we don't get car sick and our children don't wake up."

Connected to apple carplay ,,,, when i have a massage location in whatsapp open it in waze, is ((stuck)) in search page i can’t do anything unless disconnect my phone from apple CarPlaY ,, i can’t complete the process and show the route unless I disconnect ,, that problem disturb me when i driving

When you need to take a tunnel (go down in tunnel)
Sometimes when you drive you have close choices on your way, take a tunnel or keep straigt on motorway.

Family account
Until recently my wife and I used the same waze account. This was useful so we could share addresses of friends and family. Unfortunately waze does not allow us to be logged in at the same time.
I'm hoping waze can re-enable the capability to use an account on two devices simultaneously. alternatively introduce an export/import capability to the account so I can create a new account and just import my favorites my address and preferences11 votes -

Not suggestion Bug-waze uses calender that is removed. Waze starts a planned drive for location (blank) or location home if you are at home.
Bug report-
Waze is using calendars which have been removed.
Waze is doing a planned route even when no location has been input or when location is home and the phone is ar the location already.
First time i closed it. Second i set what calendars it was allowed to see. Third i tried setting video conferences at home location to stop it. It still comes up with planned drive.
Very frustrating and annoying when you are expecting a business call and or are in a meeting and it interrupts.

Choosing a route on the basis of difficulty driving or gas saving
The default route should not only be the fastest route, there should be an option if you want an easier drive that also saves on gas but is 5-10 minutes longer. Waze should provide the opportunity to choose that route in the settings options

Commuting route changes
I would very much like to have a mode that knows my usual daily commuting route and doesnt give turn by turn directions for this but starts announcing if something unuasal is up today, "waking me up" before I drive into the biggest traffic jam ever and gives me directions to avoid this then but only then.
