Defferent speed limit for different vehicles
I'd like to tell waze what vehicle I'm driving so when I'm on a single dual carriageway it knows I can only do 50mph and 60mph on a dual carriageway.

bouton pour arrêter la navigation via android auto
Depuis quelques temps le bouton pour arrêter la navigation via android auto fonctionne très mal. La réinstallation n'a rien changé ni le vidage des caches. Dommage je pense retourner vers Google Maps pour éviter ce souci récurrent.

Have speed camera, police and booze buses as all different icons so people can tell the difference between them. 1 icon for all police isn't specific enough.

CHANGE SPEED CAMERA AND RED LIGHT CAMERA ICONS BACK TO THE OLD ICON OR GIVE US THE OPTION TO CHOOSE.
Waze changed the speed camera and red light camera icon on the map and it’s so much harder to see now.
Just got a ticket for going 2 mph over the speed limit because I didn’t see the camera on my map

Maximum speed of vehicle
It would be great to have a possibility to set maximum speed of my vehicle / motorbike.

Announcements depending on speed
I recommend that Waze adjust the "trigger distance" for pre-alerts when traveling quickly.
For example, currently Waze pre-alerts "In one-tenth of a mile ..." regardless of speed.
If you are driving 60 MPH, you cover the one-tenth of a mile in a mere 6-seconds ... by that time, Waze is already alerting you (AGAIN) that it's time to make the turn.
I'm all for voice alerts ... but when the app gabs for 10-seconds straight because of back-to-back announcements, eh....

Speed ceiling, the ultimate economical & ecological function !!
Allowing us to set a speed limit / ceiling in the preferences (for example 80km/h), then Waze calculates automatically straighter, shorter roads with lower speed limits because it knows we ride slower and so we won't go at full speed on highways. It will also give a correct ETA. For typically one hour more than a 4 hour trip on highway road, we can have less kilometers to run, a way better fuel consumption because of the lower speed, and prettier roads with less traffic !!! Perfect for old cars, or small motorcycles !! We need this…

CarPlay + Waze / Cluster Turn-by-turn not showing like it does on Android Auto
When using Waze with CarPlay on a vehicle with turn by turn display on cluster, the Waze don't show any direction, while Android Auto display a full direction.
The car in question is a 2024 GWM Ora 03, but the same happens on a 2023 BMW 320i.
Also, I don't know if this specific Cluster/CarPlay API is available for other apps, but this only works using Apple Maps. Waze or Google Maps doesn't show any direction on the cluster while using Apple car Play.

Automatically resume current route if/when android auto reconnects
For some reason waze seems to disconnect or reload on Android Auto when I'm changing apps on my phone. This causes Waze to stop the current route I'm on and then asks me if I would like to resume the route. I would prefer if it just automatically resumes the route and I can stop it if need be.

Custom Speed Threshold for Radar Alerts (SPAIN)
Waze should allow users to set a custom speed threshold for radar alerts. Currently, it only warns when exceeding the limit, but for those without cruise control, it’s easy to unintentionally speed up just before passing a camera. A feature to get a warning slightly below the limit (e.g., at 115 km/h in a 120 km/h zone) would help prevent accidental fines and improve road safety.

Average Speed Cameras - NZ
New Zealand NZTA is introducing Average Speed Cameras which will detect your average speed over a long distance.
Can we implement a feature that will not only show you the start and finish point of the speed trap, but also your average speed whilst you’re within it to ensure you aren’t fined.

Police traffic stop - recording speed
I would like to see an action that is a button always on the app screen displayed that allows you to capture speed and other information about your location, etc., when you are being pulled over by a police for speeding. Allow the user's to review the data at stop point to know their speeds, lets say 5 minutes prior to pressing the ticket button. Also, email the data to the user's email.

Always-Visible Destination in Android Auto Navigation
I’d like to suggest a feature improvement for Android Auto navigation. Currently, once a destination is selected, the system immediately switches to turn-by-turn directions, and the destination name or address is no longer visible on the screen. This becomes an issue when a wrong destination is accidentally selected, and it’s only realized partway through the drive.
It would be very helpful if the destination (name and/or address) could be displayed persistently somewhere on the screen—either at the top or bottom—throughout the navigation. This would allow drivers to quickly verify the destination without needing to tap or search through menus, which…

Add an additional notification icon for use in the UK which will allow us to distinguish between POLICE and POLICE SPEED TRAPS. Speed Camera Audio Alerts should be User not Community Choice
It seems there is a lack of clarity regarding Speed Camera Audio Alerts and how they are triggered.
From what I can tell, audio alerts for speed cameras are a "community" choice, meaning that an audio alert will only be played given a number of conditions:
Depending on where you live - Your "community" decides what the threshold should be, that is if you are currently travelling at the speed limit or below, some communities will trigger the audio alert. Some communities require you to be travelling over the speed limit before the audio alert it triggered.Also apparently there…

Voice countdown to speed cameras (like radarbot)
It would be a massive benefit to have a countdown to speed cameras and the associated speed limit to be sounded very 50m or so when approaching any camera on route.
See Radarbot. Very useful but would be great in Waze.
