Add traffic camera report option for fixed highway cameras
Had traffic camera report option for stationary highway monitoring cameras. These are not red light cameras and these are not speed traps.

why are fix speed limit controls able to be removed with "already gone" button??
Hello Guys, i have a question.
If there are fixxed speed controls on the road, why is it possible to tab on "already gone" ? this doesn't make sense for fix built radar controls. Can we not add the fix radar controls to the map with a proove photo and let them for ever in the Map? i think there are people they just tab on "Already gone" or maybe some police officers on the road which have fun to do this?
i noticed this several times, that there were fix speed limit controls which are not visible on the…1 vote -
Make Waze easier for user to edit. I'd love to update the speed limits in my small town but after half and hour, I give up.

Is it possible, just like with the tomtom, to get a bar where all the messages such as traffic jams and speed cameras can be seen?

I think that speed limits should be put on all roads to make the roads even safer. This will prevent accidents.
If we find out the speed for every road and put it on the system, a lot of accidents will be prevented

Speedometer position Android Auto
Actual Speed and Limit icons to be set closer to driver position (left or right of screen) depending on driver position in settings.
On car displays having the icons on opposite side can take the attention off the road for too long when trying to observe the speed limit / actual speed.10 votes -
Request to restore Red color for Speed and Red Light Camera pop-up banners.
Subject: Request to restore Red color for Speed and Red Light Camera pop-up banners.
Message:
I am writing to provide feedback regarding the recent change to the pop-up warning banners for speed and red light cameras. These alerts were previously Red but have recently changed to a dark gray/black color in Night/Dark mode.
I strongly urge you to revert these alerts back to Red for the following safety reasons based on driving psychology and neuroscience:
Visual Saliency (The "Pop-Out" Effect): Studies show that the human brain has a "Saliency Map" that scans for high-priority colors. Red triggers stronger gamma-band oscillations…2 votes -

police
Please reinstate the "Police on Other Side" feature. Reporting speed traps is the most useful reason to report police, and traffic moving in opposite direction will always be better suited to identify and report.

Allow to select which alerts we do want - allowed speeding (+/- 5km/h), police and speed-cams, etc.
Currently we either have all alerts or none.
The problem is, we get alerts like: reduced zone ahead, or if "speeding" so traveling 1-2km/h above.
So I have alerts disabled, but then I neither get important alerts.Allow to select us which alerts we want:
1. speedig - yes/no/yes, if exceeds N km/h
2. reduced speed zone ahead
3. police and speedcams
4. other dangers (potholes, roadkill, car stopped)
5. warnings (fog, etc.)1 vote -

Protest the removal of the police warning feature!
The Sheriff's association is using the tired old excuse that the police warning feature in the Waze app "could be used by terrorists." That is a RIDICULOUS excuse! The truth is that they just don't want us having the ability to warn others about their friggin' speed traps, and they don't want us avoiding tickets! Terrorists my shiny white butt! They use all of their technology against us, and then when we have something to use against them they just don't like it. This feature in Waze is just the next step above radar detectors. Well we got those and…

text and rest areas
There are 2 things that would be an improvement on long trips.
1. Larger text (speed limit and miles to go)
2. Rest areas along the route.40 votes -

New York has installed permanent speed cameras on many major roads, NYS Thruway, I84, 90, ect,, as well as work zone cameras.
How do we report them?
I suggest two options under the police tab for permanent speed cameras and temporary work zone camera reports.1 vote -

Section Control
In a lot of European countries you have speed-control via section-control, means:
the avgerage speed is measured of a certain distance by taking picture of car when entering and leaving the measuring section.
Unfortunatly currently you can not warn other users of such controls.
On contrary, such controls are only posted as stationary speed-control when entering, which is very misleading5 votes -

Enhanced Visual Warning for Speed and Red-Light Cameras
I would like to propose an additional visual alert system for speed and red-light cameras within Waze. The idea is to introduce a transparent red overlay that flashes on the screen as drivers approach a camera location.
This feature would serve as a strong visual cue, especially for users who may not always be actively looking at their GPS display or listening to audio directions. The flashing overlay would draw immediate attention and help ensure drivers are more aware of upcoming enforcement zones.
To keep the experience user-friendly and adaptable, I recommend that this alert be offered as an optional…
