App performance
Why isn't there an option to minimize the app to a floating window, as is common in many competing apps? This would provide more flexibility for managing multiple apps simultaneously and accomplishing tasks more efficiently.

Fix Waze!
Fix Waze! Waze, Pixel 4XL, Android Auto, 2018 Chrysler Pacifica - when using navigation, Waze freezes, goes blank, restarts multiple times. This is a known issue that has gone unchecked for MONTHS. It makes driving dangerous!

Fix bugs in Waze/Carplay interface
Hello Waze! Love your app but can't use it on CarPlay due to some technical issues. In my car Waze comes up very loud and seems impervious to the volume controls on my steering wheel, but when I persist, it stops talking to me all together which is not a good thing when you're in the middle of a Drive into a complicated traffic situation. Stop turning on Amazon Music

Are you in traffic?
When the system asks if you are in traffic?? you can answer yes or no. For the amount of times that you have stopped for a coffee or gas and there is no traffic...instead of the system assuming you are and then saying that "First street" is at a standstill...make the automatic answer no, then if we are we can answer yes. I think this will reduce the fake high traffic areas people complain about

Hello. I think it would be good to have full functionally on Apple car play. It is rather when a road is closed you have to pull over. Unpll
There needs to be more functionality with Apple car play. It is very annoying when there is a closed road and I can’t get waze to re route without stopping. Pulling over, unplugging my phone and then reporting the road closed. I have also had a couple of annoying times where I have been unable to pave without having to jump through the same hoops.

Stop the limits
When I tried to report potholes (there were a lot of them), in order to report accurate information to the Public Works department, so they could fix it the issue.
When is this going to be updated, so that anyone can report as many potholes as there are in reality?
It would be nice to be able to have direct contact to Public Works departments as well, so they could know about the issue. The report should stay on the map for everyone to know, until the problem is actually solved (pothole filled up to quality standard specification).2 votes -
Stop HOV Notifications
WAZE will always default to HOV. It is not always the most efficient and best option, especially during non-rush hour, when the option to lane change makes more sense. It adds unnecessary and distracting instructions to driving. I have made lane changes because WAZE is telling me to get off of an HOV that I was never on. This option is clearly state centric for California and does not make sense countrywide.

BEACON FUNCTIONS
Create a new menu with several options for the beacon function: pedestrian walking along the road, cyclist, slow heavy vehicle, or stopped car. Currently, this option does not exist.
When a vehicle stops, it could be beaconed and detected by other vehicles, without the need for the driver who sees it to manually navigate the Waze menu to report it — making it much safer.
Another option would be for cyclists or pedestrians to beacon themselves, so that other vehicles would receive a warning signal when approaching a cyclist or pedestrian who is moving at a slower speed and…

Give us the option to keep depereciated icons\voices
Please can you stop taking away the icons and voice that we like and just ask us if we want to pay something and just keep them, it costs you nothing once you've licensed the product\voice and I for one miss T-Pain but taking away my Ecto-1 is just a low blow Waze and I don't like that you're doing it without even giving us the option to keep it. you've made my Waze just that little bit worse today......

Sale to Google
I really wish you hadn't sold to Google. I know it means lots of money for you but it means my privacy using your app is gone. And most likely, they will close you down and try to force me to Google maps but I won't use the app.
I know one person won't make a difference, but when the sale is completed I will stop using Waze.

CarPlay - no warnings when Waze is not on full screen
I have issue to report with Waze running on BMW iDrive8 head unit. Waze stops giving voice alerts if it is not on full screen or if I use split screen between Waze and Apple Music. Even though I have Waze opened in the instrument cluster, it does not give any voice warning if it is not full screen on the main unit. Please fix that. Driving lane information
It would be great if a user that put notification about stopped vehicle, could also mark on which lane the event happened or is present, for example: stopped on the side, on the first lane, on the second lane or third lane

A real travel together option
Maybe this doesn’t happen often, but if two or more people are traveling separately but headed in the same direction, it would be nice to see each other on the map. Either traveler could add detours to the travel plans, i.e. food stops, rest areas, gas stations, so that everyone can stop together if need be. Driving in the same car isn’t always an option over long distances and giving directions over a phone while someone is driving is messy at best, especially when driving in unfamiliar areas. Waze would show you places for quick stop near the road.
Basically it would work like this. Imagine a situation that you would need to *** or eat some food. You would open Waze to see when is the closest place to spot. It could even be a little stop by hole in the forest. Also it would be nice to see how many cars could fit there.
