Voice notification for abrupt stop of wazer in front of you
Often you can't tell if the car in front is stopping or just slowing down, so as we have speedometer, waze could notify wazers behind that it's car speed got from say 100km/h to 20km/h rapidly. This way wazers behind have more caution and can start to brake earlier. Should be optional voice notification and only valid for all wazers 100/300 meters behind (affected by your car's speed)

Voice navigation instructions based on traffic lights and stop signs.
Apple Maps would say “At the next light turn left” or “At the stop sign turn right” or “Go past this light, and at the next one, turn left” which is very useful and helps me make turns at the right intersection, especially if two streets are close to each other.

Currently, you are notified that you need to take the exit at the very last moment—halfway along the deceleration lane or even at the very end of it. That is far too late; it used to be better! We actually consider such a late notification dangerous: if you haven't checked the screen beforehand to see that you need to leave the highway, and you only realize it when the voice prompt plays, it is often already too…

Notifications should definitely come earlier and more times there is no voice warning, and driving and looking at the app to see the warning is very risky. There are positions for cameras that no longer exist, but cannot be deleted in the application. Thanks anyway for the effort and the free app.

Ok Waze
Bring back the ‘OK Waze’ voice search.
This was an extremely useful feature to enter a new destination whilst driving. Unsure why it was discontinued. Now you have to touch your device to enter a destination.
69 votes“Ok Waze” was replaced with Goggle Assistant which allows for voice search, voice reporting and much more!

waze voice reporting issue
After the last two updates, when I have my phone plugged in, the "speak the error function doesn't work as well on Android Auto. The music doesn't pause and it'll take a minute to process. It only really started functioning this way after the "big arrow issue" got fixed on Android Auto.

Pause playback during audio alerts (for audiobooks)
Currently the Waze sounds turn the volume of whatever is playing the background down, causing me to miss words of audiobooks. Add an option for "Audiobook mode" to pause playback during Waze alerts/navigation voice.

It would be nice to use it instead of apples gps and to have mr T's voice again. The car play is a must!

PERMANENTLY disable sounds including after updates
Stop turning the damn sound/ voice back on with every f-ing update. We turn that crap off for a reason and I am getting tired of resetting the sounds to OFF with every f-ing update!
