Indications are too big in Apple Car Play. Add font/zoom setup on options.

Car display lacking blockages
Route blockages cannot be entered on the car display when the smartphone is connected via cable and Android Auto. More functions for the dashboard would be welcome.

Suspended Waze / Apple shortcut feature
Waze is draining my battery, when I turn off my car and my iPhone disconnects to Carplay, Waze still runs and ends my battery, please add the action to suspend Waze in Apple shortcuts, that way we can do action to suspend the app after carplay disconects

Posibility to confirm that other person than driver is using android auto on car's display At android auto. Also google assistant should be
Posibility to confirm that other person than driver is using android auto on car's display At android auto. Now it won't let either a passenger to use navigation as it assumes that driver is using it.
Problem is also that google assistant (voice control is working fine in waze app but not in android auto.
So if I connect phone to car it doesn't understand my english but if I use waze on phone without connection to car it understands my english well.
This causes that I need to stop or use phone while driving instead of more safety using…3 votes -
Car play mutes radio
Opening Waze while I have Apple Car play on mutes my radio. Then I have to hit 3 buttons to get the radio working again
This is frustrating and generally sucks!
Please fix this!

Partner with Self-Driving Car Manufacturer
Partner with Google, or another self-driving car manufacturer, and put Waze in ever car. If the Community already knows where everyone is, when they leave, how fast they're going, etc. Waze could automate traffic and avoid traffic jams

I like your app so much, I'm thinking of replacing my car's speedometer with it. Can you recommend a 7"~8~ tablet with GPS that would work well in that role. I will dedicate the tablet for that purpose.

iOS App: fewer taps to report incidents?
Feature request: Please allow custom shortcuts for reporting common items like "Car on Shoulder" or "Police" or "Crash". Maybe users can select which ones to have directly on the map display screen.
Right now, it takes 4 taps on the screen to report "Car on shoulder".

ReportThat is too many. I would put an icon for this this directly on the map screen. This is the most common interaction I have with Waze while driving.

Report two different things with one event report
Example of what I mean: Last week I reported an accident on the highway, but because I moved while reporting it I could not also report an object on the road, what has happen is, a car crashed on the light post and it then ended up on the highway's right lane.

Indiquer les temps supplémentaires (delta) sur la carte à chaque croisement/sortie d'autoroute
Sur un trajet quotidien, les routes alternatives sont souvent connues.
Quand Waze indique de prendre un autre itinéraire que celui qu'on a l'habitude de faire, il peut être intéressant d'indiquer quel temps supplémentaire on mettrait en restant sur le chemin habituel.
Une différence (delta) de 1 ou 2 minutes est peut-être sans importance.Le trajet alternatif peut manquer de wazer indiquant s'il est viable ou non. Du coup il appartient plutôt au conducteur de décider s'il souhaite l'emprunter ou pas.
Ce que je suggère est d'indiquer par un nombre sur les routes sortant du trajet défini par Waze le temps…

Traffic condition ease up
A lot of times I'm going through roads that waze will say that the road is congested, when in fact the Traffic is already clear.
I would like to give the driver an option to notify Waze when going through a 'traffic cleared area' that the road is now clear again, also when Waze recognizes that the car has a greater speed as it was posted - Waze should send an automatic message to that Wazer asking how is your road condition 'slow/ heavy / standstill..?!
Please look into my request, I feel it will help a lot of drivers.

Navigation by car type, fuel economy.
Update vehicle types to EV, PHEV, Hybrid, Petrol and Diesel. Then show routes most economical based on vehicle types (mostly petrol, diesel and Hybrid).

Option to close waze without confirming or double tapping screen
I use waze on every drive, due to this my phone is always logged in when driving (use a pin to access). While sitting in traffic one evening 2 robbers forced my window down, unlocked my car, opened the door and grabbed my phone. I would appreciate if an option could be added to close waze without confirming or by double tapping the screen in order for a phone to lock itself asap so that it can't be used or accessed. This would be much easier to do in a state of panic than to press the power/lock button on…

CarPlay + Waze / Cluster Turn-by-turn not showing like it does on Android Auto
When using Waze with CarPlay on a vehicle with turn by turn display on cluster, the Waze don't show any direction, while Android Auto display a full direction.
The car in question is a 2024 GWM Ora 03, but the same happens on a 2023 BMW 320i.
Also, I don't know if this specific Cluster/CarPlay API is available for other apps, but this only works using Apple Maps. Waze or Google Maps doesn't show any direction on the cluster while using Apple car Play.

How to install waze on my car
I have a 2013 Astra Opel OPC and I can only use my car sound system for calls and I use a separate plug in my cigarette lighter to listen to my music from my phone through the car sound system. Do I need to update my car sound system for easier use?

Report menu redesign
Nowadays reporting menu is not fluent enough to use while driving, especially when reporting hazards, due to heavy use of text in the menus Latest update even made the font smaller...
I feel that hazard report menu should contain icons in the same matter the main menu uses them. Meaning: car, animal and anything else should have an icon describing. Thus, making the reporting duty during driving a hell of a lot easier. Same goes with the lane choice for the report (you can barely see those tiny arrows there).6 votes -
travel buddy for lonely drivers
Sometimes when driving alone you get bored. Why not add a buddy voice? It's more than just a voice:
1. It can have different personas
2. it continues to give road instructions, but it also plays road games with the driver: I Spy, Counting Cars, etc. It can use the camera to see things and the voice command to communicate. t tells jokes, sings along to songs, etc.It's like a navigator who's your bestie.

Improve Waze for all (professional drivers like taxi drivers, truck drivers and bus drivers as well)
Feedback for Waze Improvements (Australia-specific but globally relevant):
1. Map and Speed Limit Accuracy
• Please update maps and speed limit data more frequently, especially in Australia where road rules and limits are often updated.
• Ensure that the speedometer always shows the correct speed limit without disappearing or failing, as this can mislead drivers and cause unintentional speeding.
• Improve reliability so the speedometer never stops working unexpectedly.
2. Audible Alerts and Driver Focus

Update to run on background on Sync 3
The iPhone and Samsung devices recently released will show signs of burns when a picture is on for a long period of time. In this case since the screen has to be on in order for the car to run app its very bad for phone screen and can also make device get really hot and may start fire inside vehicle . I drive for hours at a time and i have noticed the heating problem. Please update app to run in the background with screen off.
