Turn on or off warnings in cruise like speed bomps school zones
When there is no route defined and I only cruise with waze on, I don't see any speed bomps or similar warnings

A button for HOV or non-HOV
There should be a button to tell Waze whether the car is in the HOV lane. 1), it would help Waze better determine traffic speed since it wouldn't average Wazer's in the HOV lanes with the speeds of those driving slower. 2), the Map would/could show the average speed of HOV or non HOV speeds. A Wazer in the HOV lane could really impact the accurate speed average shown (and vice versa).

Alert of traffic jam to avoid colision
Hello,
Trafic jam must be report as a danger. We need that the voice warn us to slow down before.
Right now the only way to avoid colision is to look at the screen of our phone to see if there a trafic jam. On highway it’s realy dangerous.Thanks

when wazers are regularly exceeding the speed limit on non-highways, waze should stop sending people on that route.
If Wazers are exceeding residential speed limits, it creates a hazard for everyone in that area. Waze should collect data about the amount of drivers who are exceeding speed limits and then restrict usage of those roads because it is a public safety issue.
Drivers may be going through areas where there are children, joggers, bicyclists, and others who are now at risk because people are exceeding the speed limit while looking down at their phones to get the next GPS instruction.

A short instructional video on how to alert an accident, police, etc
I would like to suggest the following: that a training video appear on behalf of the company on how to warn about an accident or the police, today that many people do not even know about the possibility of alerting, and only use the application to see alerts that others have written. Especially in the country of Panama where I live. So my idea is that once in a while a short instructional video will appear that will explain how to alert and register an accident or anything else with the police. Thank you

Emergency vehicle live intervention alert to clear traffic
Hi Waze Team,
I would like to suggest a feature that could significantly improve emergency response times and road safety.
When police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, or other emergency vehicles are actively responding to an intervention, they could activate a special “Emergency Mode” within Waze (restricted to verified official vehicles only).
Drivers using Waze nearby would then receive a real-time alert such as: “Emergency vehicle approaching – Please clear the way.”The alert could:
- Notify drivers within a certain radius ahead of the emergency vehicle
- Display a visual warning on the map

Alerts about approaching settlements
Hello! Please add the ability to enable alerts about approaching settlements. Often the signs of settlements can be seen at the last moment and you have to brake quite sharply. Verbal “Animal Alert” & Animal Icon replaced in app
Requesting update to app: 50 mile commute to & from work. High potential for animal / wildlife encounters & add a loss of connection for approx 5 miles during the trip. Adding roadworks and speed camera to the report list
My Waze maps in Melbourne Australia does not have the option to report roadworks or sneaky pop up speed cameras that sit on the side of the road 🫣 as it's not police it feels wrong to report it as police on the map 🤷

Can you set the speed "over limit warning" in the speedometer so that it plays the audible warning every time I exceed the speed limit ?

I'm asking because I've been using Waze to get around Bologna since they added the 30km zone and it's very useful to me. I'm asking you because it only plays the warning the first time and then for a stretch of the road it doesn't play it again, maybe it's set like this so as not to be annoying but I really need it to ring every time. Restore and add more alert choices and sub-choices - make the last more visible
Hello, Waze. For unknown reason to us, your users, you are lowering the variety of the alerts that could be reported and/or their sub-options. The most striking example is the police reporting option where it is not possible to report a police from the other side. Please restore it. Please, add the following reports:
1) stationary speed camera

Radar traps alerts
Until now Waze would alert for all fixed radar traps regardeless of being used online or offline and regardless of our speed. Now that has changed and doesn't happe anymore, the alerts are only audible while online. This is a pityfull change in the aap and should be corrected asap, for this is one of Waze's most usesfull features considering the huge number of radar traps present in European cities.

Option to disable construction alerts; they are distracting
Several people have posted this. It is not being responded to. PLEASE listen to us! When driving, a construction alert pops up. There is NO option in settings to turn off construction alerts (only to hide from map). The alert is persistent until I pass the zone, which means ETA is not visible. The alert cannot be cleared until I pass the zone. It's a horrible experience, and the only way to clear it is to say "Not there" which is not true. Please listen to the users begging for this. Improve speedometer accuracy
Not sure if this is happening on android. I can check. On my iOS I noticed that the speedometer is 4-5 miles slower than my car speedometer. So I set alert at the speed limit it means I’m already going 5 miles over the limit.
This odd really a bug. I could not find a way to report it as a bug

More voice warning before freeway exits, regardless of speed
I noticed that the location of the voice instruction you hear before a freeway exit varies based on how fast you're going.
Around 100 km/h, you get the voice instruction 1.5 kilometres before your exit.
Around 80 km/h, you get the voice warning about 1 km before the exit.
Around 60 km/h, you get the warning just 300 metres before the exit.It's the last one that I think is a problem. Some drivers rely mostly on the voice instructions either because we don't have a phone stand or because of restrictive laws regarding phone use while driving. And if…

When you exceed speed limit and there is radar in front of you, there should be more warning.
Warning should be like "camera or police reported ahead, your speed is above limits.
