  1. Remove 'Reported map issue' from UR description

    This auto generated "Reported map issue" text in the description field isn't adding much value.

    In fact that field is supposed to be extra info from the user..

  2. Suppress public parking lots unless the destination does not have the "Customer Parking" box checked

    The app far too often shows parking lots illogically, resulting in clutter and confusion. There is no need to show a public parking lot for a destination that has its own lot.

  3. Option to use Bluetooth HSP or A2DP

    Waze uses bluetooth A2DP for navifation instructions. But a lot of car sets only uses bluetooth HSP. There are apps that convert A2DP to HSP but these apps always mute the car radio. So it would be great, if Waze can send navidation instructions via HSP to a bluetooth car set. So it will mute the radio, give the navigation instruction and then unmute the radio. I think that would be a big feature, cause google maps can't do this right now.

  4. Single Lane with/without passing places

    In the UK, we have a large number of narrow two way roads which are often only the width of a single vehicle. You can often meet oncoming traffic head-on with no easy way of passing unless one driver decides to reverse. Either that, or at best, you both end up with scratched paintwork.

    Waze has no way of knowing which roads are narrow, so will often route along this type of road. Many of us would prefer to take a longer route to avoid this type of road.

  5. Mute re-routing sound

    The constant re-routing sound waze makes when I choose not to take the exact route she wants me to, or because I kiss a turn is loud in my Bluetooth and even though I have the sound turned down its still annoying. I know she is going to re-route me so I don't need that loud Beep she makes. No other GPS device does this. If we could please have an option to mute this, then that would be amazing. Thanks.

    You should add support for On Board Diagnostics OBD II from elm327 bluetooth as Torque app does and the stats to Waze user profile.

  7. Police

    Sorry to upset all of the folks asking for more features to warn of police presence but this is a childish feature which should be removed. Waze is a great app and you would be best served by taking the "high road" and promoting the app as an aid to road safety by making drivers aware of road situations and hazards. But many wazers like me have their kids also driving and I am just waiting with dread for the day that a fellow wazer tells a drunken driver how to avoid a policeman and then that drunk driver kills…

  8. Change the color of the exit signs from background yellow and white lettering. It's too difficult to see

    You recently changed the color of exit signs to background yellow withwhite lettering. I cannot see the number of the exit with white lettering. Please change the background to darker, or the lettering to a dark color.

  9. Search results not close to my location.

    Usually, the first few search results are hundreds or even thousands of kilometres / miles from my location. Search results should default to the closest to me, unless I add more details on the search location, like town/city.

  11. Return the displaying of FB friends on a map in app.

    Most users are interested in where their friends are, not unknown people. Need to make FB friends be visible on the map all the time, not just when they are within 1 km. There is an invisible button for Confidentiality to compliance in the application.

    Allow the user to define an event such as playing one of your own sounds, display one of your own photos or play a music track at or near specific places. Example uses - get onto a fast stretch of road and your music changes, and changes back when you get into town again. Get a mile from a toll booth and a note appears telling you how much money to have ready. Drive near a grocer and your recording says "don't forget to get the eggs".   17. Your warnings for police reports are to late. You can already see the cops just before your warning come out. It needs to be at least 1 mile

    Police notification needs to be 1 mile not 1/3 to 1/2 of a mile!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. To have options to report unsafe areas (Eg.South Africa - Riots) so that tourists and people unaware don't drive into said areas

    I am from South Africa and unfortunately we often have riots and there are areas that aren't safe to drive. It would be good to have an option that allows this to be highlighted or reported (as we do with traffic) so people that are unaware don't intentionally drive into dangerous areas.

  20. Stop using last direction of travel to determine directions on startup.

    Waze should not use the last direction of travel for determining routes. Instead of routing 5 turns to go the opposite direction on a roadway, waze should just say "go east/west/north/south on xx" or just not have any audible direction and send you on the fastest path mid segment.
