  1. (Emergency Service) Driving Forward on the current road | Coming from Behind

    Hey everyone,

    There have been many times while driving when an ambulance or police car comes up behind me, or I notice one driving ahead in the same direction. In those moments, I wish Waze had a quick way to alert other drivers.

    I think it’d be great to add a “Police driving ahead” or “Ambulance driving ahead” report option. That way, users can warn drivers in front that an emergency vehicle is coming toward them or traveling along the same route.

  3. To show street information on android auto version

    My waze map does show my current street; but when I'm connected android auto, it doesn't show. Please allow for it to be shown on android auto if possible.

  4. To have a certain classification of road/highway to have a connection with at or higher highway classification

    Some roads on Waze have highway classifications that do not continue. For example, a road close to me has a minor highway classification; when it reaches a round-about, it loses that classification, but in all directions, that classification does not have a connection. These roads should have its particular classification end at another road with the same or higher classification.

    Agregar rutas de evacuación que se puedan activar cuando sucede un evento adverso, las mismas que se puedan activar cuando suceda un evento adversos y se muestren en la aplicación de manera comprensible y clara, donde los ciudadanos puedan consultar en un momento de emergencia

  6. Choose which alerts are voiced when you have sound on

    When you have the sound on for navigation, it would be great to choose which alerts to actually have the navigation voice. When on a long drive and trying to listen to music it can be very annoying to have your songs interrupted every few minutes because of a car on the shoulder.

  7. Adding stops to route be able to view on map

    It would be extremely helpful to be able to view the locations of possible added stops along your route to be able to better visualize which location would be best and see how far off the route it is or how close/far from the original destination.

  8. Show the road that you are on when not in navigation mode on Android Auto

    I have recently used Waze on Android Auto, and it will not show me the name of the road that I am on unless I am in navigation mode. Can you make it possible for Android Auto users to see the name of the road currently being traveled on?

  9. 3000 edits are too much for level 2, don't let us edit some locations if we were there.

    My idea is to reduce the edits to advance in level and let the members of this community edit the locations that were not using Waze and were without using it

  10. Integration with ODB2 to display car information

    It would be great to have the car's features displayed on Waze via an OBD2 connection, at least temperature, speed (already available through GPS), fuel consumption, and oil pressure.

    Integration with Car Scanner, for example!

  13. Layers: Color according to speed

    It would be helpful to have a new filter allowing users to quickly view speed limits. Red: 110 km/h, green: 50 km/h, etc.

    This filter would also allow users to identify roads for which no speed limit is recorded in the editor.

  14. Pop-Up Alert telling users the address they are routing to has been updated recently

    It would be awesome if there was a system that alerted a user that's navigating to an address that has recently been updated and then ask if they would like to continue to the old location or if they would like to go the new updated location. This would help a ton when it comes to URs that are reporting that navigation to their house is wrong and delivery drivers or even family and friends cannot properly find the house because Waze has the pin improperly placed. (And yes, I know there's no way to know for sure the other…

  15. Permanent Hazard Cameras: Electronic Toll Collection

    Many locations are now using electronic toll collection systems that take a photo of a user’s license plate, then send the user either a bill or a violation/penalty notice by mail. Since this is relatively new tech, a common concern over many of these applications is that they could be easy to miss, thus causing confusion over an “invisible toll” even if clearly signed. Additionally, some of these toll cameras also act as lane-use and HOV lane cameras in the case of express and HOT lanes. In some jurisdictions, they even act as speed cameras.

  16. Customizable Safety Zones (permanent hazards)

    We have different "safe zones" that the government created to help make a safer road environment for senior pedestrians (Silver Zones), similar to what is commonly known as "School Zones". Do we have the option to customize permanent hazards for each country? So that drivers can notified about the reduced speed limits at such areas, and each country is able to customize the types of hazards accordingly.

  17. Include road elevation (based on app data) for better consumption planning

    include the road elevation, based on app data, for a better consumption planning, and suggestion of greener route alternatives.

  18. Add a hidden stop sign permanent hazard.

    I think it would improve user safety if we were able to label hidden/hard to see stop signs. For example stop signs behind a bush, after a blind curve, or awkwardly placed signs.

  19. Additional scheduler option needed

    I have been adding a bunch of school zones using the new scheduler feature.

    It would be nice to be able to to choose a date range and select that it repeats on the same day every week.

    For example:
    I have come across many schools that are closed most Fridays. Since they aren't closed every single Friday, I can't just remove Friday's from the "included Dates" tab. So I have to add each Friday as an excluded date.
