It would be helpful to have improved tools for marking closed or restricted roads, managing HOV/toll lanes, and updating traffic rules more quickly. Better validation for edits and clearer guidance for new editors would make contributions more accurate and reduce errors in the map.

Batch Input Road Closures
We have several large construction projects that will span several months, with mostly repeating road closures (Ex: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3PM). The only way I'm aware of to add these is by each individual day, then repeating next day, which gets tiring. There should be an option to bulk upload a closure, selecting the days of the week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Etc.) and the time it applies. There would also need to be an option to remove a closure on a specific day (Ex: Holidays).

2 Fixed Safety Cameras alerting suggestion
There are 2 fixed safety cameras located on Kwinana Freeway in Perth northbound at Mill Point Road and Gentilli Way that not only catch speeding, but also mobile phone and seatbelt infractions. Currently both are only indicated and treated as a speed camera on waze, so they only make an alert sound when speeding. Might I suggest you activate the alert every time when passing as it is a multi purpose camera.

Userability Issue: Notifications show up and cover important info on screen
Notifications about police, accidents, speed traps and cameras show upon the lower left corner of the screen and cover up important information. These notifications should show up elsewhere, so the important information isn't covered. Move the notifications to the top middle of the screen. There is no useful info there.

An easy to find link that list all the terms for reporting that waze will reconize.
When I’m driving with Waze, I hear reports for many different road issues. However, when I try to report those same issues using the exact wording Waze uses, the app doesn’t recognize them. For example, Waze announces a “pothole,” but to report it, you have to say “pothole on road.”
There should be a list accessible from the three-line menu in the top-left corner that shows each incident and the exact terms required to report it. This would reduce frustration and encourage more users to report issues.

Traffic Event closure selection
When selecting the closures tab, there should be a hierarchy for the default closures displayed. If there are no verified closures (such as when copying a Traffic Event), the list should switch to the Unverified closures list. If there are no verified or unverified closures, the list should default to the failed closures.

Copy button for segment/place address
Very often you have to search info for address while editing maps and it could be made a lot easier by adding a copy button to copy address on properties panel. Or maybe 2 buttons, 1st for just the street name, 2nd for whole address.

Fix the bug where it says you must submit current edits for review before you can edit another segment.
There's a bug where it says, "To edit another section, you must submit current edits for review." However, I have no edits ready to submit. After a few refreshes, one may show up so I deleted any edit shown under the "submit edits" button and start over but end up with the same error message.
So either there's a bug or you can't edit the speed limit on multiple segments of the same road at the same time? If that's the issue, then that would also be a pain. In about one mile of road in my local neighborhood, I'm…

Make cycling an option for end-users and in "Edit mode", alongside the existing options for Road, Walking Trail, Roundabout, and Junction box, considering there is more and more bicycle usage across the globe.

Show the direction of travel on one-way streets
I was driving through a downtown area yesterday that has a lot of one-way streets. I was trying to leave the area, but couldn't see which one-way street was going in the direction I needed to go. Can waze put arrows in the direction of travel allowed on one-way streets?

Event Announcements
Currently, event announcements remain displayed even after the event has ended.
Unless they are deleted manually, they stay on the screen and make it difficult to view new announcements.Therefore, I would like to request the addition of a feature that automatically deletes event announcements once they have ended.

Better gas station search
Currently when on a drive and I hit the gas station icon it searches along my route but will give me options that are over 100miles away. Usually when I go to search I want to find one soon and much closer. Also the gas prices that are listed on there and marked as updated same day have been very wrong. They need to get picture confirmation to ensure people are entering in the wrong amounts.

Add neighborhoods to places
Many cities have stores with many locations around the city. These can be hard to distinguish in Waze, since people might not be familiar with the specific street name, and some countries have many streets with no name or similar names. Just as places are assigned to cities, it should also be possible to assign them to a neighborhood (defined based on community guidelines), so it's easier to find and identify places.

Import Addresses for route optimization
Route4Me just lost functionality so Waze has an opportunity here... especially if you want to offer individuals a free plan but then sell to corporations a route optimization tool for their field reps/drivers.
I used that app for 5 years and was able to import an excel file with my client addresses, they now shut off that option for individuals and you can only access it from a corporate account.Basically if I have 10 clients on excel I need to go to today, I want to be able to import that into Waze, and then Waze will "optimize" the…

Allow users/editors to upload a picture for a poi from device/WME rather than take a photo on the place from car.
…My suggestion is the following feature: Allow users and editors to upload photos from their phone’s gallery (taken before or after visiting a place) rather than only allowing “instant” photos taken from car from a really bad angle. My suggestion solves this problem: Many current POI photos are low-quality or taken from bad angles because they are often snapped quickly while in transit. Allowing gallery uploads would result in better, more helpful photos that accurately describe a location’s surroundings. In more words: Finding specific points, like a package delivery locker (automat), can be difficult without clear visual clues. I suggest3 votes
