Ability to readjust junction boxes
At the moment junction boxes can be drawn when they are being created. After the junction box is saved, the form of the boxes can't be adjusted anymore.
This is problematic because:
a) Now it is possible to move nodes inside a junction box. But if the junction box is too small, there is not enough space to sufficiently correct and move a node.b) If the junction box is not sufficient it must be deleted and recreated in order to correct some bad edits. This leads to a loss of all saved cross-times, which affects routing for a period…

Add more keyboard shortcut options for drawing Hazards
Right now, we've got a long list of Permanent Hazards available to map, but only two (Speed bump and Speed camera) have assigned keyboard shortcuts.
Having more keyboard shortcuts would be super helpful for productivity. Personally, I think the default shortcut for each hazard could be blank/none, so users can set their own preferred keys for the hazards they use most often.

MTE Temporary parking lots
Very often during large events, temporary parking lots are created for the duration of the event, it would be very useful to be able to create in the WME these parking lots only for the duration of the event.
It is not possible to do this now because we have to wait for the map update.33 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Add sub-places tab
Please add a tab for places (in addition to General, More info, Photos). This tab will include a (sorted) list of sub-places that exist in the building. Each such sub-place will be searchable in the application and will appear as: sub-place name, place name, address.
Examples:
A mall may have 100 stores, all these store will be gathered in the tab of the mall and not as distinct point places, and will appear in the search as: Mall name – store name, address of the mall.
An office building that contains 40 private offices (lawyers, accountants, etc.) will be a…33 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Fill place data with linked Google place data if those are blank in WME
I often create a place and link Google place to it first to see/verify the address etc. Feels like very dumb double work when at least the name/city/address is in that linked Google place already, it would be very nice if WME could pull those from that entry when linking it and autofill those IF the corresponding fields are empty in place properties. And of course those must remain editable after that also.

SLUR behavior (speed limit update request)
Hi,
a few month ago Irad told to make suggestions about SLUR, I took my time but here it is :In the beginning, we had a SLUR for every request, and there were way too much of them because sometimes there is a lag in showing the new speed limit so people were reporting speed limit that were already good, and also because speed limit were not visible in the client until you exceeds the limit.
The idea of grouping them making cluster was implemented (against our will), and according to Merav last time I spoke with her about…
32 votesHey!

This suggestion will be taken into consideration in the work. So, thank you again we will update accordingly.

Segregating effective and suggested closures
WME shows two kinds of closures:
- effective closures, affecting routing and visible on livemap
- suggested closures, non affecting routing and not visible on livemap. Those suggested closures always have a duration equal to a multiple of 24 hours, starting and ending at the same time of day (on different days, obviously), and are usually created by editors having a layer lower than 3. Those suggested closures result from closure reports made from the app.
The WME displays both kind of closures using exact same visuals: it is necessary to open and examine the closure, to determine if it…32 votes -
Update gas prices where Waze venue is linked to GM place via external provider
Idea by reivaxX162.
Around the globe, Google Maps has already rolled out gas station prices. Many gas stations mapped in Waze are linked to GM via the external provider setting. Waze could automatically update the Waze gas prices where it is linked via the external provider. This would allow automatic price updates globally with little ease, and leverage the work GM has already done.

Allow closing/seeing closures on red turns
Why?
I got a UR with: from here you can only turn right.
- I changed the wrong turns from green to red.
- I would like to close the one I changed to have the change effective immediately instead of the next map update. The same is currently possible for one-way segments (you can close the other direction).

Add postal codes/ZIP codes to Waze address editor
When a Waze app user searches for an address added using the Waze Map Editor, it does not show the postal code. But with Google addresses, the postal code is shown. Please add postal codes to the WME.

Multiple entry points
Waze should re-enable its multiple entry points feature (eg one side of building or another).
Instead of using the first entry point, Waze users should be directed to the one that’s marked as the main point in the editor.

Events: additional tickbox "event needs push notification"
Requesting push notifications for events through the editors' community still doesn't work very well and is not rewarding.
Now contributors get a notification if their event was published by Waze staff but they get no notification about the event being reviewed at first. If Waze decided to not send a notification, the contributor doesn't get to know the reason, nor the information that the decision has been made! When I enter major events I -as a local member- often know that they have a high impact on traffic in the near area.
I suggest adding a tickbox to clearly show…

Speed limit map error
I would insert the ability to see the speed limit map errors reported by users with the function to be enabled or disabled in the control panel.
This possibility, unfortunately, is only available for those who have access to the WME beta but it can be free for everyone.30 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

set none as default when selecting an event for real-time closures
Most of the closures I add to the map (95%) need no traffic event associated with them because this is a minor use case.
Now I still have to click the event field and select none manually every single time which takes unnecessary effort and time. In the meantime I could have added other closures.
Therefore,, it would be a huge improvement if none was pre-selected.

Make RPPs a bright pink
Change the colour of the RPP from a camouflaged dusky pink (same shade used to literally camouflage reconnaissance Spitfires in WWII) to a bright pink like #fa0584 to make it more visible in urban backgrounds.

Use of alternate city names for routing
Several years ago the decision was made to use the postal city as an alternate city name for routing to addresses in rural areas. According to Wazeopedia "Waze founder and CTO Ehud stated in a US meetup that a search algorithm is so much work to build correctly and maintain, that Waze does not want to spend the time, money or energy to build their own, and are happy to stack the Waze matching process on top of the Google search algorithm." As a result, WME editors have spent untold time and energy adding the postal cities to these segments.…

Traffic Control Devices
Enable editors to add traffic control devices to intersections like stop signs and traffic lights. This could help drivers navigate when there are few signs/lights.
It’d also be helpful since many drivers make “landmarks” along the way. They’ll know to look for the stop sign in 1000 ft, not just to make a right in 1000 ft.
I don’t think it makes sense to let phone users make these additions, though they can communicate through URs.

Closing URs that are no more in your editing area
I can edit the area of a UR when I first answer it because it is in my edit area. But sometimes I do reach the expiry date of the editing area in the middle of working on this UR. Because of that, I can't even close the UR I started working on.
It would be great if there will be an option to close a UR you started working on even if this UR is now outside of your editing area.29 votes -
Issue Tracker: within the Areas I Manage list, add an "All my areas" option
An All my areas option will give me a high-level view of all the areas I manage without selecting each area.
29 votesGreat timing! We’re currently working on adding an option to see the list of all the area you manage. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME.
