Thanks for supporting this suggestion! We've added it to the WME team's backlog, and hope to get to it in the near future. We will follow up here when we have an update, or need more info from the community.

At the moment, when you hover over a place, it shows its complete address. Is this something that solves the original issue you mentioned?

If not, we would love to hear from you on how it can be improved.

    Thank you!

Basically I'm done fighting dumb WME dev decisions that make me work harder. I've been willing to help all these years, but if Waze puts up roadblocks, I consider the road blocked, so I will not be linking places. If they want to remove the roadblock later, maybe I'll drive on it again.

As currently implemented, PLAs that are either truly public, or private PLAs specifically named as part of a larger campus or facility that could plausibly searched by name, are the only useful ones on the map, and they make up probably less than 5% of all PLAs. The remaining PLAs are map clutter collecting place updates and photos intended for other places, or occasionally leading to poor user experiences by their existence implying a place still exists when it has closed but the associated PLA didn't get deleted. Please finish this project or greenlight deleting all these spurious PLAs that don't fit the narrow criteria defined above.
