Waze is basically unusable since the last update
Waze keeps on crashing on the first use in CarPlay. Waze engineers apparently can’t figure out a fix in a timely manner. Use a previous version of the app that worked with CarPlay, label it as an updated version and submit it to Apple so it can be used again with CarPlay.

Car version
We propose that Waze introduce a native standalone version for modern vehicles running Android-based systems and HarmonyOS, optimized for large built-in displays and in-car connectivity, without relying on Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

Add bike lanes on roads
There should be an option where you can see bike lanes, it can pop up on the side of roads that actually have bike lanes. If there is a bike lane and you need to turn where the bike lane is, it could give you a warning to watch for cyclists in the bike lane. With adding bike lanes, you can even add a feature for cyclists! When you put in your destination on Waze, there could be a pop up that is a little button which says CAR or BIKE. Waze lag through android auto
Waze v4.100.1.0
Android Auto v10.9.634644-release
Toyota Corolla 2019When I use Waze through Android Auto, it becomes unresponsive after a minute or so. I have to set the route before plugin the phone in the car.
No problem with an iphone through apple car ...
Any chance to get a fix ?

Waze shuts down radio with each prompt with Apple CarPlay. Distracting to find the station button after each and every prompt. Fix this.
I would like to use Waze with CarPlay but it shuts off the radio with each prompt and I have to select the channel again after each prompt on my Subaru. What gives? Very distracting....

Fix Calendar integration with CarPlay
When I have an upcoming Calendar event (or one that's currently active that I'm late to!), Waze on CarPlay displays ... random calendar items, without any regard to prioritizing recent/near ones. It's intensely frustrating, and I often have to switch to Apple Maps, as broken as they frequently are, to get to where I'm going.

Have music apps not freeze while using Waze. "Please know that music apps are not supported in Android Auto when using Waze". How dumb.

Route color change after we past it
As we all know, from route planning to until we get to the target, the track color is the same (purple by default).
The problem is that the section we past and the section we are going to is in the same color.
Since the software can identify the direction of motion, I suggest that every section of the planned route that we passed will return to normal color of the map or will fade to make a Separation from the section which you are traveling to.

Improve location of command bottons on Waze for Android Automotive (AAOS)
Command bottons are currently located in the upper right hand side of the screen, which makes difficult to use when driving. It would be much better if the command bottons would be placed in the bottom side of the screen, because it would make it more ergonomic to use (like it happens in Apple CarPlay version).

I don’t like that others can see my speed if I use that part of the app so I can watch my speed. Can authorities access that info ever??? Because I do speed sometimes and I don’t want others seeing or recording my speed...

Some report suggestions, vehicle options, route options for the Waze Team
Just some ideas please address:
• the thanks and not there options for apple car play to not automatically disappear until 2 miles approx. distance passed(or provide an option for the user to change that delay) beyond the reported icon there is some delay in when they appear
• A new icon for the flooding hazard, as well as blueing a path to show on gps and gps to warn or detour upon suddenly appearing at some point in calculating route before after during etc
• Allowing users start/ end of long traffic icon , include system detection for drivers…

Smarter framing
The smart auto zoom now is fine, but I can’t help but notice that other navigators also change the angle of view in order to properly show the next manoeuvre instead of just having the POV right behind the cursor. An exceptionally good example is apple maps, which is lacking in many other departments but excels extremely in this one.

"Pause spoken audio" cannot be turned off
Even with the "Pause spoken audio" off, Waze continue to pause the Apple Podcast app.
Worst, the pause mechanism is not great because it makes me miss a few seconds of podcast at each alert forcing me to rewind.I created a voice with small airplane chimes to get alerts and not missing a turn without having full spoken directions (especially for commute where I know the directions).
The chimes are so small and unintrusive that I prefer to have them played over my music/podcast.Being able to NOT pause the podcast is therefore important.

Tenho um Iphone6 iOs 12.
Tenho um Iphone6 iOs 12. O waze que está instalado acusa que não está acessando o GPS. Já desinstalei e instalei o waze novamente, sem sucesso. Já liguei para o suporte da Apple, refizemos todas as configurações possíveis e o problema continua. Não consigo mais utilizar o waze no meu iPhone6. Aguardo solução. Avoid Specific Countries When Routing

I would like to propose a very important routing feature that is currently missing from all major navigation apps:
📌 Feature: Avoid Specific Countries When Routing
Users should be able to select one or more countries they do NOT want to enter during navigation.
Similar to “Avoid highways” or “Avoid tolls,” but for entire countries.Why this feature matters:
In many regions (especially the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Middle East, etc.), some users are not allowed to enter certain countries due to political restrictions, documentation issues, or border regulations.
