Bob Sheppard Voice (Yankees PA Announcer)
Bob Sheppard was the public address announcer for the New York Yankees from 1951 through 2007. His diction and cadence were perfect. Known as The Voice of God, he made routine stadium announcements sound as if they were coming from the skies above. There’s tons of material available to construct a Waze voice. I’m not even a Yankees fan and I’d get it.

Option to Replace Long Voice Alerts with Short Beep for Speed Traps
When I'm approaching a speed trap, the voice alert is too long and repetitive. It plays over and over without pausing the podcast, so I often miss parts of what I'm listening to and have to rewind.
It would be great to have an option to disable the lengthy "educational" message and keep only a short sound notification, like a simple beep.1 vote -
Adding alert for vehicle going below the lowest speed limit
I really appreciate the effort you put in this application. Specially the limit for the route speed in UAE . You perfectly added the high limit for the speed.
My suggestion is to add the lower limit for the route which vehicles can't go below.
It's crucial because the fine for exceeding the speed is the exact same amount for going below the lowest speed.
I myself got fined for this gap on Mohamed bin Rashid street which is not allowed to drive below 120 KM/H . And I came to know after fine of 1200 derhams ( 400×3 ,…2 votes -

Suggestion to generate more value and Products in Waze company.
Hi Man,
There are some GPS like Garmin that offer a traffic information by radio in real time, but the information that they provide is not so real time like the Wase information. I suggest you to sell this service to the final customers or to Garmin and another GPS companies. It will generate a new way to gain money at Waze company. Another interesting thing is to sell them the information of POIs and general informations like radar, accidents, etc with radio update. I changed my map icon to the dog car. Which is great, but it would be fun if at the start of the journey, the dog car ran round in circles, and when you come to a stop at a junction etc, it wagged it's tail.
Similarly can alerts for police ahead not be Woot Woot dats da sound of the police.

problem!!!!Missing Section Controll Speed cameras !
In a lot of European countries you have speed-control via section-control, means:
the avgerage speed is measured of a certain distance by taking picture of car when entering and leaving the measuring section.
Unfortunatly currently you can not warn other users of such controls.
On contrary, such controls are only posted as stationary speed-control when entering, which is very misleadingI drive every day Germany swiss...500+ miles track . ( I deliver pockets)

So i have two suggestions for you, first one is that adding a road refresh future / botton (manual and automatic with 5,10,15,20, intervals) which refreshes the road a head so if there is a traffic change in road a head it changes the directions (with the sound that alerts you that "road refreshed" ) , of course if you are near the next turn or something like these it doesn't change this turn or direction and changes further ahead.

PLEASE get RID of the ETA updates!
The ETA Updates are an INCESSANT ANNOYANCE and I'm SICK of them! The moment you try to access the map, the ETA update pops up and gets in the damn way. It also constantly gives the same sound as if you made a wrong turn, and not only is that a distraction, but it's friggin' stupid. I would like you to implement the following suggestion. I'm contacting you from Spain.
For those of us who have Android Auto in our cars, when we encounter a speed camera, Waze informs us via text on the vehicle's central display. If we're traveling at 80 km/h and have to look at the display for a second, the vehicle travels more than 20 meters. That distance is enough to cause an accident, which wouldn't happen if the warning were audible.

Reduce size of lower notification box
Lower Notification bar too high and wide:
The lower bar that shows ETA, time and Km left occupies too much area of the screen, hiding vital information very often.
When there is a warning, like for example, an imminent radar, the notification box gets even bigger and covers like 1/3 of the screen, hiding something as vital as the max. speed allowed.
The lower bar could display the same info using one third or even less screen space than it uses now. I suggest you to reduce its size and maybe keep it in the left lower corner to…1 vote -
terse voice option
Provide option for a terse voice mode. Currently, the voice prompts are verbose and intrusive to people using their smartphone to listen to podcasts, educational material, audiobooks, etc. An option to provide just the necessary turn by turn directions, shorter descriptions for highway exits (e.g. say "exit 5a" as opposed to "exit 5a main street north west"), use a chime sound in lieu of repeating the name of the road when it is time to turn, etc.

Please add all New York City School Zone Camera Units to the WAZE maps for the purpose of reducing violations there are over 2,000 in numbr
Please take note by this suggestion that I have incurred many School Zone Speeding tickets since the DeBlasio administration installed over 2,000 camera units throughout New York City, if WAZE provided functionality by visual icon, sound alert or any means informing drivers of the many School Zone Speed Cameras requesting drivers to reduce their speed to 25 mph then this would give rise to a great service and would remediate many violations as well perhaps save incidents of pedestrian accidents.
