It knows you entered the tunnel and shown you the exit to the, but when you lose gps signal it can’t find you and you can take wrong exits.. also stating each trip should allow you to choose tolls or not..

   Suggestion:

   I’d like to suggest adding the ability to apply route avoidance settings (such as avoiding highways, tolls, or ferries) for a single trip only, rather than changing global navigation preferences.

   Currently, when a user enables options like “avoid highways,” the setting remains active for all future routes until it is manually turned off. This can lead to confusion or unintended routing on subsequent trips if the user forgets to revert the setting.

   A more flexible approach would be to allow users to select avoidance options specifically for the current trip during route setup. Once the trip is complete, the app would automatically revert to the user’s default route preferences.

   Proposed Functionality:
   -Add a “For This Trip Only” toggle or section when selecting route options
   -Allow users to choose:
   -Avoid highways
   -Avoid tolls
   -Avoid ferries
   **Automatically reset these selections after the
   trip ends

   Benefits:
   -Prevents users from forgetting to revert global settings
   -Provides more flexibility for one-off driving preferences (e.g., scenic routes, avoiding highways temporarily)
   -Improves overall user experience and reduces routing confusion

4. Kansas turnpike cashless now.

   Need to remove instructions to slow and take ticket when entering. Since cashless tolling started July 31, 2024, no tickets are given.

5. Restore and add more alert choices and sub-choices - make the last more visible

   Hello, Waze. For unknown reason to us, your users, you are lowering the variety of the alerts that could be reported and/or their sub-options. The most striking example is the police reporting option where it is not possible to report a police from the other side. Please restore it. Please, add the following reports:
   1) stationary speed camera
   1.1) please add a detail about the direction the already added stationary speed cameras are pointing at - towards the incoming cars or at the same direction of the road lane group. Also add this as an option for the ones that one can add manually.
   1.2) Add a notice if the radar is new - e.g. less than a month-3 old so that one's attention can be better caught.
   2) mobile speed camera - there are police patrols installing mobile speed cameras that have a 600 m range
   3) speed camera signs - sometimes a stationary speed camera is missing but a warning sign is put to denote such
   4) toll tax patrols
   5) vehicle moving illegally in the opposite traffic direction - we have more and more frequently such cases here in Bulgaria
   6) burning car - especially this one since this way people can gather and help; I see there is an option to request help but does this option signal other Waze users or some road assistance from the country at hand?
   7) broken road - partially/fully, current/opposite direction lane
   8) protests

   Also noticed the following issues:
   1) Waze sometimes doesn't signal for radars earlier on but 200 meters before one reaches them. That wouldn't be much of an issue if the radar is pointing in the direction of the lane but would surely be if it points in the opposite direction. In all cases, it is best to signal for the radar 1 km before.
   2) Please make stationary and mobile radars standout more. Sometimes the avatars of the Wazers overlap them.
   3) Please better differentiate traffic light camera and speed radar. When I see red-light camera what I think of is a infrared speed radar. Even its pronounciation in Bulgarian is misleading - translated it means: traffic light camera. Ok, so that is a speed camera mounted on a traffic light or a camera that only detects vehicles that have passed through the traffic light when it was red? Please differentiate them better - both visually and audibly.
   4) The sub-options of a report have a very pale selection indicator - one can hardly see what sub-choise (s)he has made since the selection indicator on the light theme is just very very tainted - a very light gray on white background. Please use your Waze blue color as a selection background, for instance, so that one can distinctly see the selected sub-option of the report (s)he is currently doing
   5) Several times Waze is losing direction - it cannot detec the direction in which I am moving

   So i have two suggestions for you, first one is that adding a road refresh future / botton (manual and automatic with 5,10,15,20, intervals) which refreshes the road a head so if there is a traffic change in road a head it changes the directions (with the sound that alerts you that "road refreshed" ) , of course if you are near the next turn or something like these it doesn't change this turn or direction and changes further ahead.
   The Second one is that adding something like a custome map which you can add or share a restricted areas with different colors and diffrent names so that you can choose whether the map give you direction through the restricted area or it doesn't, also if it gives you direction through it, it alerts you that the directions given are in the restricted areas with names, like tolls.
   I don't know if these suggestions are even possible to pullout but i know that these changes are so helpful at least for many people around me.

7. Add "avoid freeways" to the quick navigation options that currently shows options to avoid ferries and tools.

   Sometimes I prefer to take back roads on my commute when traffic is bad. The quick toggle includes ferries and tolls. Please consider adding the option to avoid freeways to this.

9. Allow users to check if they passed through ULEZ or Congestion charging from a completed journey by analysing the entire route taken

   It would be very helpful and convenient to add a feature where waze analyses a completed journey and shows the user if they passed through particular tolls I.e. congestion charging and ULEZ as many people get confused about this and end up paying the charge anyway incase they did pass through them.

   It would save people money and act as a fail safe.

   I myself have paid many times although I have routed to avoid the tolls but the way wake works by diverting often to avoid traffic it adds tge risk of passing through the charging zones.

    I suggest adding a setting where users can select certain streets or zones to avoid, either temporarily or permanently. This way, Waze can calculate alternate routes that respect these preferences.

12. PLEASE improve auto routing feature

    Since its implementation I've HATED that Waze...after a short interval...automatically chooses one route (out of several options). The time allotted is not nearly long enough to allow for an informed choice (at least not in a densely populated area where there are several options). If two or three routes are very close in travel time, the shorter one may have higher tolls or traffic slow downs...and I want to assess each one. At least, allow users to turn off the auto route option. I, for one, know my area well and the advantages/disadvantages of each route, and don't want Waze to choose a route by default.

13. Add avoid railroad crossings toggle

    Waze already lets us avoid tolls, ferries, highways, and other obstacles when rerouting. It should also let us avoid railroad crossings. Sometimes a train is passing and traffic comes to a complete stop, but there’s no quick way to reroute around all crossings.

16. Request to Relocate "Avoid" Button for Easier Access in Navigation Interface

    I suggest moving the "Avoid" button closer to the "Go" button for easier access at a glance. I often miss toggling the "avoid tolls" option before starting my trip because the button is located at the top left corner of my phone. 17. Cheapest route (including the cost for my time)

    Sometimes I want to take the fastest route possible, but most times I want to take the cheapest route. By cheapest route, I mean one that includes a cost for my time as well as fuel, depreciation, and tolls.

    I live in a part of Austin where the fastest route is often a highway that goes the long way around, but there is a slightly slower route that is direct. I'm willing to take 2 more minutes to drive if it saves 7 miles on my car. The US govt. puts the price of a mile on a car at $0.70 (US Dollars) and, as an economist, I think that's about right. 7 miles saves me about $4.90 and that's worth more than 2 minutes of my time.

    You can advertise this as good for the climate too. I'd drive fewer miles.

    So as you could have:
