  1. An audio warning when GPS signal is lost, very weak or location accuracy is low

    because missing turns or other warnings because WAZE thinks your somewhere else really sucks.

  2. Level of guidance option

    I would like a new low setting for "level of guidance" under sound settings. I wish I could set it to a two stage tone notifications. Such as one ding x amount of feet before the turn and then a double ding immediately before the turn.

    I find that the verbal instructions can be more than necessary in more familiar areas.

    Move popus at bottom of the screen, because on the top there is upcoming routes which cannot be seen under popup window on small screens.

  4. Push local "Amber Alerts" from authorities to all user in specific city or county.

    Help with the quicker relay of this important information from the authorities to every user on the road in a specific area...help recover stolen or lost kids in danger!!

    Ciao waze complimenti x l applicazione io la voterei pure xke voto te xò ho dà dire che potrebbe aggiornarsi con cose più carine tipo aggiungere altre caramelle sulla mappa quando si cammina xke dopo un po spariscono e waze viene dimenticato e poi quando si chiede un passaggio ad un amico inutile ma sulla mappa è impossibile vederlo in tempo reale magari se si potesse vedere sulla mappa i waze in tempo reale mentre camminano ...e ci sono tanti altri dettagli per nn farsi che diventi monotono xke scendere dà casa accendere waze dovrebbe essere più divertente. Giusy

  8. Show variance in traffic report icons on map.

    There are 3 levels of traffic, but only the "heavy" icon displays. The user has to click on a traffic icon to find out whether it's moderate, heavy, or complete standstill.

  9. Let's try a partnership with www.wikimapia.org to use their sattelite images, which is much better than Bing, at some countries?

    In Brazil, and maybe another countries, Bing Aerial images are low res and we barely can see where the city is located, which makes impossible to fix the map reports. As it looks like that Wikimapia works as Waze, collaboratively, It would be nice if we could share/use that images to help fixing the map reports.

  10. Night Mode on all User Interface Elements

    When you're in Night Mode the map is, essentially, reversed in color; light things are dark, dark things are light. This is not true for any of the other user interface elements. Search, popups, reporting... all are very bright and very distracting. These interfaces should also be reversed, that is, dark grey backgrounds with light gray text.

  11. minimize left turns across traffic

    In urban areas making left turns onto a busy street without a traffic light or 4 way stop can be difficult and add minutes. Ways should have a navigation option to minimize that. By contrast right turns onto traffic and left turns off of heavy traffic roads are awesome

  13. Police

    Sorry to upset all of the folks asking for more features to warn of police presence but this is a childish feature which should be removed. Waze is a great app and you would be best served by taking the "high road" and promoting the app as an aid to road safety by making drivers aware of road situations and hazards. But many wazers like me have their kids also driving and I am just waiting with dread for the day that a fellow wazer tells a drunken driver how to avoid a policeman and then that drunk driver kills…

  14. Show location at end of Navigation

    This is more of a copy of Navigation for Android.

    Anyone that have used the Android Navigation knows that at the end of the Navigation, it shows you the street view at the arrival.

    You guys should incorporate the Street View at the end/or arrival of the destination (or stop off points).

    I do a lot of traveling to places I have never been to and one of the best thing about Google's Navigation is that it shows you street view once you arrive so you know exactly what to look for. That is why I still can't use Waze…

  15. New road segment for yields

    Currently the routing algorithm assigns a penalty where ever a junction is located in the editor. I believe no penalty should be assigned to a junction with a connecting yield segment, as traffic typically isn't slowed down at these junctions. I believe that creating a new yield road type segment would improve routing accuracy. I've seen many URs that could have been prevented if such a segment already existed. A junction with signal lights should not be treated the same as a junction with a yield.

  16. Disallow all undriverable from being connected to roads to prevent routing errors

    Walking trails, boardwalks, stairwell (why does this exist) and railroads SHOULD NOT be permitted to be connected to a junction point on a highway, primary road, street, service road or ramp. By preventing the different types from being connected, it should prevent any routing errors from driveable segments onto non-driveable segments.

  18. Please move the "Reports"-button from bottom to top on the main menu. It is used frequently and requiers several clicks and scrolls.

    Please move the button "Reports" used to view reports during navigation from bottom to top on the main menu. It is used frequently and requires several clicks and scrolls to reach. I would also prefer to view reports "on route" as default and not "around me". Now it requires 5 clicks to see the reports that is on my route.

    Sorry if I use wrong names of the buttons but I have a Swedish version so I am only guessing the English names.

  19. Make map chats into a full messaging feature.

    Map chats usually pop up and then disappear after a while, leaving no trace. I would like to be able to get back the chats I receive and respond to them later when I'm not driving. This would increase the 'socialness' of Waze and maybe even lead to making new friends on the road.
