IPhone users phones cannot be locked when use with apple car play. If your phone is locked waxes will not work with apple car play.
Waze should work with apple car play with your phone locked. You shouldn’t have to keep your phone unlocked to use apple car play

App for samsung Galaxy S3 watch
Please make an app for Samsung Galaxy S3 smart watch. While an adress is plugged in, it could give you the next turning instruction. When police or vehicles on the shoulder are reported, you swipe left or right to give it a thumbs up or make it disappear. While you just driving without navigation, I could have your speed with the posted speed limit on there th help prevent drivers from speeding! All the while keeping hands on the wheel and eyes on the road!

Traffic bar for Apple CarPlay
Hello,
The only thing missing for me is the ability to see how long a route control (trajectcontrole in dutch) is.
On the phone you can see this, but not on CarPlay.14 votes -
Apple Carplay alert notification format
Regarding Apple Carplay, the notifications for cops, hazards, etc is set up that the "Thanks & Not There" are over & under each other. I feel they should be side to side instead. 1st its already risky to take eyes off the road to press on the alert but as the car is in motion and roads flow naturally in an up & down motion, It's pretty easy to confirm the wrong answer. If they were side by side, It completely reduces the clicking of the wrong answer.

Exit name size Apple car play
In apple car play if the exit name is too long waze removes the ETA and remaining distance to make room for the exit name. Which is nice but sometime the exit may be 10km away and not having the eta for 10km is not great. Maybe keeping the eta but smaller could be an alternative. Or using a smaller font for the exit name.

Please improve "Watch my drive...". It should stay on real-time & not disconnect. It doesn't follow real-time nor recover when stops. (Android 13, Galaxy S22 Ultra)

Please add an ETA feature accessible from Apple Car Play
Apple Maps recently added an ETA feature that is accessible from Apple Car Play, and I'm hoping Waze does the same (so that I don't have to touch my phone to use the ETA feature). For now I will continue to use Apple Maps and Waze at the same time so I can easily tell my wife my ETA w/out having to touch my phone while driving.

CUSTOM ROUTES AND ALERTS IN APPLE CAR PLAY
I would like to record a custom route to an address and waze considers it in the calculation for the route. Often the routes provided are not the best, there are better routes. Customized routes saved by users who knew the best paths would be the most practical. At the end of the path, the user could save the path with some name. WAZE could put the same notifications that you have on your cell phone in the apple car play, such as prohibited via etc.

Haptic alert
Hi
I want all speed alerts to be vibrational - via Apple Watch. I need the feature to be active all the time, so when I run out door and jump in car I know I will be alerted every time I exceed a speed limit. I need the vibration to continue until speed is back within limit.
This is essential for a motorcycle rider and I think best option for car driver also, you can be looking at phone or expecting to hear a ph in noisey environment, let alone feel a vib from phone in a loose…

CarPlay Dashboard
With the iOS 13.4, Apple opened up the CarPlay Dashboard to accept 3rd Party Maps instead of Apple Maps. It would be awesome to have Waze replace Apple Maps on the main Dashboard!

Add a new watch beside iPhone’s one with arrival time
My suggestion is to add another watch showing the arrival time beside iPhone’s time.
Once Waze is running an the screen get lock, the time is shown with a blue background.
It would be very nice to be able to see actual time and destination estimated arrival time with both clocks on the same home screen and not being inside the app.3 votes -
Add distance to routes in apple car play
When showing routes in apple car play, only the time to destination of each route is displayed. Please also add the distance of each route, which is a very important parameter for selecting the route.

Bookmarks Import from Apple Map and GPS coordinates
I have many bookmarks in Apple Map and I would like to transfer them in a Waze, but:

Be able to interface from your phone like Apple iPhone
I really like your app and use it every day. My frustration is that I use a Samsung Android smart phone (I am not a fan of Apple iPhone's). Apple play works very well with your app. You can control your app from the phone or the car interface (basically the car mirrors the phone). With Android play you can't control the app or view the app from your phone. All interfaces have to be on the car not the phone. Add iPhone music player for songs stored locally in my iPhone, not just for songs in Apple Music premium subscription
Currently, Waze for iOS/iPhone includes controls for Apple Music. But it only works if the user has a subscription to Apple Music. I have a lot of music that I own stored locally on my iPhone. But Waze cannot control the music player, unless it is controlling the paid/subscription Apple Music.

Opción de elegir el mapa de día o mapa de noche dese Waze en Apple CarPlay
Al igual que con Maps de Google, sería bueno que Waze permitiera elegir desde la app de Apple CarPlay el modo de visualización del mapa (día o noche) y que no tenga que ser obligación utilizar el celular.
