Highway Exits
It would be great that Waze would recognize if you are traveling along an out of state highway and could provide further information on exits along the highway. This information could be provided by wazers and could just use a check box option such as
- Easy on Easy Off
- Great Place to Get Gas
- Great Place to Get Food
- Safe Area
- List of Nearby Restaurants (off of Exit)

Avoiding Via
At first step, the purpose of this list (or menu) is:
Any user to create a list of roads, streets, etc. that will be avoided by them, either by holes (poor maintenance) or Unsafe (crime) preventing Waze of create routes for such via.In a second step, the policies and area managers (Waze) create risk zones with respect to crime.

Alternative Warnings for Rural/Country areas
I live in upstate NY where there aren't always enough wazers to report issues that might be there. I was thinking it would be really nice if there would be a way to make known problem areas? For example:
-There is a known speed trap on my way to work but not enough wazers pass through the area to mark a cop if he's there. What if there was an option to place "known speedtrap" warnings so that even if no one has tagged the spot, the prevalence of cop presence would justify the warning even if there isn't…

Advertise the Waze app on billboards in high traffic areas
I think if Waze advertised the App in particularly high traffic areas, Waze could ultimately get tons of new users and the ability to ease traffic. For example, I live in Williamsburg, Virginia and travel I-64 daily to get to work in Hampton. It's about 33 miles one way. Currently, I-64 is under construction to widen it. During the summer time frame, there are approximately, 20,000 more drivers on this busy section a day that are headed to Virginia Beach and/or the Outer Banks of North Carolina for vacation. Search for a gas station or other POI in the given area, ideally while already driving and having active navigation
When you drive to a distant location I can't find an easy option to look for a gas station in the specific area. It shows gas stations only on the main road, frequently I need to look for gas stations which are outside of the main highway but in close vicinity.
Currently I'm stopping in the middle of the road, canceling navigation and then looking for gas stations nearby. I'm looking for a feature which would allow to plan this while on the move.1 vote -
add actual pulloff areas on map
Along I-70 in Colorado, we have many areas that are paved pulloff areas that should be added to the map. To many people mark cars as being on the shoulder of the road when they are pulled completely off the road and in a designated pulloff area. This gives false warnings of vehicles on the shoulder of the road.

Because of violence in the cities, many roads are hazardous with slum communities with drug distribution among others.
If I go to a place that does not know the city .... I would like to be informed if that route can be dangerous.Very important, for example, to UBER application drivers taking passengers to various locations that do not know.

Apple CarPlay Update needed
I love that we finally have Apply CarPlay integration! The update does need some additional work in my opinion. The roads/street names/ icons all appear blurry on the CarPlay display. All of the notifications that pop up are clear/crisp. It just looks like the map isn't fully loaded and isnt giving a clear picture like the map on the phone does. Also - the icon (arrow or car) is massive compared to the rest of the map. It doesnt get smaller/bigger when zooming in or out. I think the icon should change size based on the size of the map…

Please stop routing onto bike routes
I live in an area of the country with a lot of bike routes. Those routes are established on the assumption that they are low in auto traffic, or least generally local-only traffic. That seems to prompt Waze to guide me onto them fairly frequently during heavy traffic times, but in doing so this violates that basic assumption of keeping them low traffic.
As someone who bikes and drives regularly, I'd rather not see those routes grow in auto traffic as Waze adoption increases. If possible, please stop routing auto traffic onto those routes so that they can remain safe…

Block Certain Search Results
I don't like a certain McDonald's in my area because it is horrible, but everytime I search for McDonald's in my home area, that horrible location appears in the search results. I would like to have the ability to block individual search results. Thank you.

First responders
As a First Responder there should be a way to for us to update more information on traffic accidents and incidents that would allow us to give first hand accounts to get people to slow down or avoid an area all together. People refuse to slow down when we are working on the side ofthe road.

Allow a start/stop feature for hazzards/lane restrictions, traffic jams, etc.
When traveling through a construction area allow a start/stop point so others can choose atl. routes. This can also be for speed reductions, accident sites, etc.

Report "Good" road conditions
When I report "bad" road conditions, it helps drivers around me avoid an area. Sometimes, when I reach an area that is reported as "bad" it turns out to actually be less congested or jammed up than reported earlier.
It would be very beneficial to everyone using the app if we could report when a road has good conditions. This would meet the goal of providing real time map updates that benefit everyone looking to see what route is best for them based on the conditions.

I would love to see a warning when entering an area that is known for issuing tickets
I am not sure if you can do this with Waze Maps, but i would love to see this feature.
I would like Waze Maps to highlight and issue a warning to drivers of areas that are known to be "ticket alleys"
What I mean by "ticket alleys" are areas that have very high percentage of traffic violations and higher than normal traffic incidences of reckless driving tickets.
There are two counties in VA, Sussex and Dinwiddie Counties that are known for issuing unusual and very expensive tickets like Reckless Driving for a simple speeding ticket.

Longitude and latitude is the most accurate way to find a location and leading you to. It is particular useful if you are out of city.
Hope Waze could search by longitude and latitude point and show a point by longitude and latitude. This is useful when you are not in city area, for example, hiking in a forest area.

Add directional arrows to list of search results
Please add directional arrows to search results. For instance, if I search for McDonalds the results shows me all the McDonalds in the area and how far away each one is. I would like to also know which one is in the direction I am headed so I don't go out of my way to what happens to be the closest.

Change Road Hazard
Under road hazard / side of road. Remove missing sign. Add Tractor/Trailer. If I am new to a area I really wouldn't know what sign is missing and if I am from the area I probably wouldn't notice it missing. We see more cars on the side of the road but the big rigs are bigger and more likely to be hanging out in traffic,
