  1. Improve Road Directions on Android Auto

    The road signs show the exit numbers in the green aesthetic boxes but it's hard to see on android auto as it's small and negligible, hindering driving.

  2. When I connect my phone to Android Auto, do not force me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen

    Version 4.93.5.11 for Android forces me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen. When I connect my phone to my car, I prefer to display Google Maps on the infotainment screen (via Android Auto) and display Waze on my phone's screen. That way, Waze provides me to with look-ahead traffic alerts, but Google Maps is available for navigation, adding side trips, etc.

    However, with this latest version of Waze, once I connect my phone, Waze displays on the phone's screen a message directing me to my car's infotainment screen and Android Auto.

    I can still run Google Maps on…

  3. Android auto

    1.)in 2miles Turn left A1280. [A1280] was not visible it was very very small. Road numbers are very tiny fonts. Please increase font size for Road numbers.
    2. ) In 0.1 m keep left , if any camera in that sides , it show only camara in big size it merge the keep left symbols. Definitely we miss the left or cancel the camara. Both are very important, 3 month before the update it was very good.
    3.) While in report options it shows only about traffic and others, please add temporary road closure option in android auto.

  5. allow navigation voice to interrupt call

    some people want this disabled, but i rely on navigation instructions in unknown areas.

    i prefer waze voice amidst my phone call rather than fly by my exit while someone jabbers on my Bluetooth speakerphone

    make it a toggle option to please both camps

    and xmpp text those in my non "social" media friends (i have real friends)

    allow audio blurbs to interrupt also (jingle)

  7. Android auto driving instructions

    With the new update Waze is not able to transfer driving instructions to android auto (aka the arrows on your dashboard).

    It was working before the update. I've tested the same car with Google maps as well and it works, so it has to be related to Waze. Confirmed on two phones.

  8. Android Auto display on instrument cluster on VW Group cars

    I've hit this issue and according to research it has been reported by other people using Waze Android Auto on VW Group cars.

    In my case I have a Skoda Superb, and when using Waze Android Auto navigation, the instrument cluster will often(/always) show incorrect symbols for turns.

    It seems to mostly go wrong for roundabouts, which the UK has many of. Roundabout direction icons will either incorrectly show as just a turn, or in the worst cases a right turn at a roundabout will show with a U-turn symbol.

  10. Please add support for Alps 825x Pro Android sat nav

    Hi, I have Alps 825x Pro Android sat nav in my car which is running Android 14 but when I go to Play Store then Waze it says that Waze is only supported on my other devices (phones and tablets) but not on my car's Android aftermarket Sat Nav.

  11. Controls on phone when using android auto or carplay

    I'm a waze user paired with android auto device. I think it would be alot better if you are able to make it so you can control waze with your mobile device and see the map with android auto, google maps started doing this and it feels like waze is missing this opportunity. It would be great if you can end drives, start drives, see turns up ahead on the phone while using AA while the main map is displayed on AA

  12. CarPlay + Waze / Cluster Turn-by-turn not showing like it does on Android Auto

    When using Waze with CarPlay on a vehicle with turn by turn display on cluster, the Waze don't show any direction, while Android Auto display a full direction.

    The car in question is a 2024 GWM Ora 03, but the same happens on a 2023 BMW 320i.

    Also, I don't know if this specific Cluster/CarPlay API is available for other apps, but this only works using Apple Maps. Waze or Google Maps doesn't show any direction on the cluster while using Apple car Play.

  13. One Touch Reports in Car Play / Android Auto - Customizable

    It would be great to have the ability to customize one-touch reports.
    See the attached imgur photo.
    In this case, I made vehicle on shoulder, police, and object on the road as my "One Touch."
    I also added a compass to the navigation bar on the bottom left. (The compass I used is far too busy for Waze.)

  15. Android Auto add Camera button

    Add a new camera button to Waze when using it via Android Auto.
    I've driven past new fixed and mobile cameras that I can't report as there's no camera button on the Waze display on my Audi A8 screen - there is for police, traffic, etc.

  17. Android Auto Glitchy

    The recent update doesn't play well with Android Auto. It's incredibly unresponsive, you have to click the button multiple times to alert anything and by the time the screen responds your a mile pass the issue. It is making it more dangerous to use while driving by having to take your attention off the road for longer than necessary. I also put in an address for directions and the screen just displayed the destination and not the current location. It worked really well before the update.

    O Waze não tem 100% de compatibilidade com o Android auto. O Waze tem um bug, que depois do primeiro alerta de radar ele trava no radar e não reportar mais alerta de radar. Pode realizar atualizações para corrigir este BUG do App?

  19. Resize directions box while connected to Android Auto

    After recent updates, the box displaying directions covers half the screen when connected to Android Auto. Please shrink the box, allow users to move it or resize it. It makes it difficult to see where you are going on the map sometimes.
