  1. Waze problem on Android Auto

    A couple of weeks ago Waze does not work well on Android Auto, I mean Mazda CX5 and CX9, among others. There is a lag of several seconds for each option that one selects, and it is not possible to inform the community of the correct position of an accident, vehicles stopped on the road, lag in starting the route, among other problems.   3. Android Auto Glitchy

    The recent update doesn't play well with Android Auto. It's incredibly unresponsive, you have to click the button multiple times to alert anything and by the time the screen responds your a mile pass the issue. It is making it more dangerous to use while driving by having to take your attention off the road for longer than necessary. I also put in an address for directions and the screen just displayed the destination and not the current location. It worked really well before the update.

  4. allow navigation voice to interrupt call

    some people want this disabled, but i rely on navigation instructions in unknown areas.

    i prefer waze voice amidst my phone call rather than fly by my exit while someone jabbers on my Bluetooth speakerphone

    make it a toggle option to please both camps

    and xmpp text those in my non "social" media friends (i have real friends)

    allow audio blurbs to interrupt also (jingle)

  5. Atualização para o android auto

    O Waze não tem 100% de compatibilidade com o Android auto. O Waze tem um bug, que depois do primeiro alerta de radar ele trava no radar e não reportar mais alerta de radar. Pode realizar atualizações para corrigir este BUG do App?

  6. Android Auto add Camera button

    Add a new camera button to Waze when using it via Android Auto.
    I've driven past new fixed and mobile cameras that I can't report as there's no camera button on the Waze display on my Audi A8 screen - there is for police, traffic, etc.

  7. Volume button with slider and AirPlay icon to select output

    Similar to the TomTom app, at the bottom click on the speaker icon, slide the volume, app repeats upcoming navigation so you can judge if the volume is too loud or low. To the right of the volume is an AirPlay button to Select output:

    iPhone Speaker
    Bluetooth Device (unique name)

  8. Resize directions box while connected to Android Auto

    After recent updates, the box displaying directions covers half the screen when connected to Android Auto. Please shrink the box, allow users to move it or resize it. It makes it difficult to see where you are going on the map sometimes.

    Great news! The feature of reducing the size of upcoming turn/direction/navigation box in Android Auto is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

  9. Address lookup with Google Search (Android Auto)

    When searching for an address on your phone you get an option to search using Google rather than Waze which is very helpfull as very often I've found Waze can't find an address or location entered but Google nails it just about every time... I would even like to make Google the default if I could as it's a lot more reliable..

    For now, just having the ability to search for your entered location or address via Google when using Android Auto would be a good start :-)

  12. Bluetooth power saving causes voice to be cut. Play custom sound file before.

    Some phones and car radios have a power saving feature that mutes sound if no sound is played. Then, if a voice directive comes, it SHOULD be:
    "in 100 meters, turn left"
    but it IS:
    "ers, turn left"

    So an option to let the user play a custom sound file befor every directive would be useful:
    "[BING] ... in 100 meters, turn left."

  14. When I connect my phone to Android Auto, do not force me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen

    Version 4.93.5.11 for Android forces me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen. When I connect my phone to my car, I prefer to display Google Maps on the infotainment screen (via Android Auto) and display Waze on my phone's screen. That way, Waze provides me to with look-ahead traffic alerts, but Google Maps is available for navigation, adding side trips, etc.

    However, with this latest version of Waze, once I connect my phone, Waze displays on the phone's screen a message directing me to my car's infotainment screen and Android Auto.

    I can still run Google Maps on…

  15. Destination preview in Android Auto

    When using the assistance, waze often chooses the wrong destination. It would be super helpful to see the destination for a few seconds before the route actually kicks in. Or to be able to confirm.

  19. Waze on Android Auto keeps freezing in the new updates.

    Every time connected to Android Auto, it eventually will freeze, shut it down and relaunched only lasted few minutes and freezing again. This happened after the new updates.

  20. Android Auto blocking scrolling

    When using Waze over Andoid Auto, it blocks selections until you stop the vehicle. It is rather irritating as it is possible to use Waze if I disconnect from Android Auto, select address on the handset and reconnect, which requires 5x as much distraction.

    It is OK to warn to watch the road instead, but it should release the further selection after a while like the phone app.
    The most irritating is when I have just reached the desired
    address and you mask it with the blocking warning :(
    I advise that you unblock the screen after a while (10-15…
