Improve location of command bottons on Waze for Android Automotive (AAOS)
Command bottons are currently located in the upper right hand side of the screen, which makes difficult to use when driving. It would be much better if the command bottons would be placed in the bottom side of the screen, because it would make it more ergonomic to use (like it happens in Apple CarPlay version).

Some report suggestions, vehicle options, route options for the Waze Team
Just some ideas please address:
• the thanks and not there options for apple car play to not automatically disappear until 2 miles approx. distance passed(or provide an option for the user to change that delay) beyond the reported icon there is some delay in when they appear
• A new icon for the flooding hazard, as well as blueing a path to show on gps and gps to warn or detour upon suddenly appearing at some point in calculating route before after during etc
• Allowing users start/ end of long traffic icon , include system detection for drivers…

SPLIT: I don’t like that others can see my speed
I don’t like that others can see my speed if I use that part of the app so I can watch my speed. Can authorities access that info ever??? Because I do speed sometimes and I don’t want others seeing or recording my speed...

Snow removal equipment
I was in Maryland during the recent blizzard. I was able to make the return drive to Pittsburgh on Monday. The roads where clear, however road crews were doing snow removal on the shoulders, left and right. I found during my drive the crews were often on turns and had I had no warning to be able to change lanes for safe distance.
That's when I thought of a SNOW PLOW notification. It would include a left or right choice and on road or shoulder choice. Moving or stationary would be a choice too, but might be a bit much…

"Pause spoken audio" cannot be turned off
Even with the "Pause spoken audio" off, Waze continue to pause the Apple Podcast app.
Worst, the pause mechanism is not great because it makes me miss a few seconds of podcast at each alert forcing me to rewind.I created a voice with small airplane chimes to get alerts and not missing a turn without having full spoken directions (especially for commute where I know the directions).
The chimes are so small and unintrusive that I prefer to have them played over my music/podcast.Being able to NOT pause the podcast is therefore important.

Turn by turn on headup display (windshield)
Latest update 5.14.1.0 still does not enable turn by turn to show on the head up display (on winshield). There was a post that waze just needs to flip a switch. Google and apple maps already have it on. Map & Command more like Google!
PLEASE READ & VOTE!!
Instead of “Turn right / left in .1 miles” (esp. for in-town and city driving) change to Google-like commands (e.g.- “At the next light / stop sign, turn right/left) and SHOW Device - light or sign at corners - on the map, as such - sign or light).
Doing so also helps to know HOW MANY lights or signs remain between you and your next turn.
It’s impractical to watch your mileage in these conditions. It’s more “natural” - as when someone is telling you directions in the passenger seat - to look for the next…3 votes -
CarPlay (Waze Map shown into instrument cluster update) as demonstrated by latest CarPlay updates
Apple have updated CarPlay to work with the instrument cluster in addition to the centre screen, which is far more comfortable in the latest cars to have navigation behind the wheel. Developers need to make updates to enable this feature to work for their apps.
Please update Waze to take advantage of this new functionality, which will improve the experience of navigating while driving.

Tenho um Iphone6 iOs 12. O waze que está instalado acusa que não está acessando o GPS. Já desinstalei e instalei o waze novamente, sem sucesso. Já liguei para o suporte da Apple, refizemos todas as configurações possíveis e o problema continua. Não consigo mais utilizar o waze no meu iPhone6. Aguardo solução. Option to not automatically launch Waze when I activate Carplay
I do not need Waze every time I drive. If I launch Apple Airplay to listen to my music or an audiobook, Waze automatically launches on my phone and drains my battery. I would like to have the option in settings to choose whether to automatically launch Waze or not. Some users may prefer to auto-launch, so having the option would be beneficial.

power utilization
Even with my iPhone x connected to a car charger, WAZE uses too much power. It simply depletes the battery over a long drive. I have tried to separate car chargers, no joy. When I tried using Apple Maps for several hours on a long trip, my iPhone battery charged from 50 to 100 percent. Give us some specific recommendations for battery charges or reduce WAZE'S battery utilization.

Card novos no Android Auto
Android Auto no Brasil foi atualizado e agora se parece muito com Apple carplay. Existem cards como Google Mapas, Spotify... Mas senti falta do card do Waze. Hoje é o aplicativo de mapas que utilizo, mas com essa nova mudança ficou muito mais prático e bonito a utilização do Mapas do Google. Que tal implementar o mesmo design ao Waze e voltar a ser o mais top?

ActiveAlert
As a first responder, my company uses an app called ActiveAlert to show who is responding to a call, and where they are. This app also includes navigation built in through its own navigation software, Apple Maps, and Google Maps. Can Waze be integrated also? And when it is integrated, send real-time HAAS Alerts to nearby Wazers when using the ActiveAlert App and navigated to a call?

Draw over for samsung
You gotta add draw over for samsung users ive heard apple has it already but it would help a lot if us samsung users could open other apps and keep waze open like floatin on the side like google maps lets us do but waze is much better i just miss being able to keep my navigation open while on an other app changing my song or texting someone back.

Waze takes up too much space in CarPlay split screen mode
Waze takes up too much unnecessary space on the right side of the screen when using CarPlay split screen, to the point where you cannot see the music title anymore. This only happens when there is a lane indicator (see link below). Google and Apple Maps don’t have this issue. This should be adjusted so your music title is not hidden when the lane indicator is active.

Auto North Button
Please give the option to Auto North Adjust the map without using the "Keep map north up" setting.
Same concept as the Re-Center button, but "Re-Rotate" the map view to North Up temporarily.
For example: Apple/Google Maps have a compass icon that you can press to re-rotate your view back to north up.
(It also shows which direction the map is pointed in, which would be nice to have)1 vote
